Dr Andy provided fantastic care for my "old lady braces." As a A 50 year old, I was hesitant and apprehensive about potential outcomes. He provided comprehensive assessment with high digital technology and and took time to explore options, educate and collaborate with me. And all of the wonderful assistants and administrative staff were incredibly professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable, and so friendly!

Dr. Andy Schmidt, office coordinators, and orthodontic assistants were all amazing! They're passion for what they do really shows. I had upper and lower jaw surgery to correct a severe underbite which was pretty involved and schmidt ortho new exactly what they were doing from beginning to end. They also had the added challenge of working through the pandemic, which they handled incredibly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Andy and his staff. I decided at age 40 that I wasn't happy with my smile and a friend referred me to Schmidt Orthodontics. After a short assessment Dr. Andy walked me through the decision making process and I ultimately decided on Invisalign for my course of treatment. He's been incredibly knowledgeable, kind and compassionate ever since I started this process.

The staff is amazing and their customer service is bar none. They're friendly, professional and genuinely care about giving you the best care they possibly can. Not to mention they always seem to be running on time and I can't tell you how great that's been for a busy professional Mom like myself. Their office is always clean and welcoming and they've got an easy convenient system for scheduling and reminders that again, has been key for my busy schedule. I honestly couldn't be happier with my experience AND I finally love my smile!

Schmidt Orthodontist Office is AWESOME! My 3 kiddos and I are all patients of Dr. Schmidt. Everyone in the office is friendly and Professional. When my daughter had a bracket break Dr. Schmidt was quick to come in over the weekend to fix it so she was comfortable. I would highly recommend going to Schmidt Orthodontist office to everyone! A great place that gives you a beautiful smile!

Everyone is super friendly! Scheduling was always easy and communication about COVID protocols and precautions were clear. I came to Schmidt Orthodontics because I also needed jaw surgery. One of the staff members who went through the surgery herself even shared her experience and answered any questions I had!

I agree with some of the other lower scoring reviews, If you have too many scheduling issues, regardless of why, , even for medical reasons, this is not the place for your child. Cassie the office manager does not show concern for anyones issues. Bottom line: This place cares only about their numbers and what potential money can be brought in. Forget about Covid, medical concerns or any concerns for that matter, if you take up an appointment spot and god forbid cancel it you will be banned from this orthodontists office. Blessing in disguise for my family, I would never want to have this place have the fortunate experience to work with my awesome kid.

Amazing service with amazing results. Extremely professional, friendly staff who are all laid back and easy going. Scheduling to my needs was never a problem. Also had great Covid protocols which I very much appreciated.

Our family dentist for over 15 years referred us to Schmidt orthodontists. We were looking forward to meeting Dr. Andy to examine our son's teeth. He just turned 12 and has had immune system issues for many years. Originally we had our first appointment for the initial consultation scheduled at the beginning of the pandemic. Due to various circumstances, such as increased numbers in Covid cases in our county and personal issues (Our son's mom's front line work, night shift, at the local airport), we ended up rescheduling several times.

I always pride myself in being on time and sticking to commitments 100%. At first, Cassie, Dr. Andy's office manager, was helpful and understanding. But then she turned from helpful to dismissive and discarded our son as a potential patient due to rescheduling too many times. During "normal" times I might have shown understanding for the decision, but due to our son's health conditions and the pandemic we were very disappointed as Cassie explained to us that the practice's loss of potential business, paying clientele, was unacceptable.

Even after a lengthy email, explaining our situation, she merely sent us a formal response stating to find another orthodontist and that our son was no longer wanted as a patient of Dr. Andy. So to all of you who are seeking a new orthodontist, I hope your circumstances allow you not to exceed Dr. Andy's (Cassie's) rescheduling limits so you won't be banned, lol. In the meantime we look at this as a sign to find someone else to care for our son, someone less guided by numbers, but more heartfelt.

I have had three teenagers get braces through Schmidt Orthodontics, and I highly recommend them. Their office is clean, organized, and the staff are so kind and nice to work with. Dr. Schmidt had some challenges to overcome with two of my girls, and he tailored their care beautifully. My girls are now done with braces, and they look amazing! I am so glad we chose a Schmidt Orthodontics!

From the moment we first walked into the office, we were treated like family. Our twin boys love going to see Dr. Andy and his staff!

Dr Schmidt was part of the team that fixed my wife's serious gum/teeth/jaw issues. Over the course of several years (4 and a half years now?), he and the other doctors did an excellent job fixing what was considered a very very difficult situation/almost impossible task. But with his expertise and knowledge and coordination with the other doctors, Dr. Schmidt and his staff were able to successfully treat my wife's teeth issues, and get them aligned (as well as for a major jaw surgery), despite the risks of teeth falling out and a lot of mobility of teeth (due to missing gum and other issues) and many other undesirable aspects when it comes to orthodontic treatment. Yet- they were successful. I would definitely recommend anyone else looking for probably one of the best orthodontists in the entire PNW region, to seek out Dr. Schmidt.

Excellent Orthodontist! I needed braces as an adult and my dentist recommendation Dr. Andy Schmidt. I had a consultation with Dr. Andy and was impressed with his knowledge and presentation of my plan of care. From my first appointment to the last, Dr, Andy and staff were professional, kind, friendly, always on time and very helpful! The end results were perfect, I couldn't have been more pleased! It has always been my dream to have a beautiful smile. After going to different orthodontists and getting free consultation i felt like I was being told what I wanted hear instead of what would be best to achieve my perfect smile. Since I'm a little bit older I told myself there is no way I would wear braces and was only after Invisalign. When I came to see Dr. Andy he was very honest with me during my consultation and told me what he thought would be best for me instead of what I have imagined for myself.

I'm happy that I trusted Dr. Andy with my smile because after 16 months of braces I couldn't be more happier. Thank you again Dr. Andy and all the staff you are all very amazing.

I brought in my son here for the first time over a year ago. We came back here every 6 months for a checkup, and he recently started a treatment (See my original review about the consultation appointment and checkup appointments). Here are some of the things I like about Dr. Schmidt's office: +All the staff, including Dr. Schmidts, are very friendly. +It is expensive (as it is an orthodontic treatment), but they are pretty transparent about the fees. +They give you a discount if you pay in full (instead of installment).

I got a 5% discount for paying cash upfront. As it costs several thousand dollars, 5% actually means something. +Dr. Schmidt's office is across the street/parking lot from my son's dentist, Dr. Piper, which is pretty convenient. When my son has a cleaning appointment at Dr. Piper's office, he goes to Dr. Schmidt's office to take off the wires first.

After cleaning at Dr. Piper's office, he goes back to Dr. Schmidt's office to have the wires put back in! I'm pretty happy with all the services they have provided. Schmidt Orthodontics has been wonderful with my family. We transferred service from out of state and everyone in the office has been professional and welcoming. There have been some challenges and scheduling can be tricky but the staff is very accommodating given the limited service hours and having to work with appliances from another practice. Would definitely recommend this practice.

Dr. Schmidt and his team are the best in the area at what they do. I was on a serious timeline to get my teeth straightened before moving back to Chicago and before my wedding. They were able to complete what initially could have been a year in braces in just 7months! Always professional and positive, the team at Schmidt Orthodontics made me feel at home and comfortable as an adult who needed braces.

Everyone there was so supportive and knowledgeable of the whole process and made scheduling appointments convenient around my crazy hectic work schedule. I will always recommend them first, especially adults considering braces/retainers.

Dr Schmidt did a wonderful job. I am 49 and decided I wanted a fabulous smile. I won't say that it was the easiest thing. Adult Braces can be hard and let's be honest, a little embarrassing BUT IT WAS WORTH IT! I have the most wonderful smile. I am so happy that I did it and Dr Schmidt and his whole staff made it a great experience.

I actually LIKE going here. My teeth had moved, so I wanted a retainer. Everyone - and I mean everyone - was SO nice. And the place is ridiculously cute. It feels GOOD being in there. Everything in there is well done, and they have lots of staff so you don't have to wait long. There is a big picture of Dr. Schmidt's dog in the room I was in, so you know he must be a good guy because of how much he loved his dog.

I LOVE my new smile! Dr. Schmidt and his team took great care of me; I was nervous to be an adult with braces, but the time was quick and the results are amazing! The office is a clean and fun space, and the team is helpful and willing to listen. Highly recommend!

My granddaughter introduced me to Doctor Andy and the wonderful staff of Schmidt Orthodontics -- it is a rare experience for multiple generations to have braces! I could not have chosen a better team to guide me through this new season of my life. Highly recommended!
