Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
The office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with them for their comfort. School children with a lot of work to be done should be seen in the morning for the same reason.

The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
Some children are given nitrous oxide/oxygen, or what you may know as laughing gas, to relax them for their dental treatment. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide/oxygen is given through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child's nose, allowing them to relax, but without putting them to sleep.

I'd been searching for a dentist for my toddler. It was to be her first dental visit she's 21months. Needless to say with our experience at the doctor(it's exercise with her just vitals), I was hopefully that this would be too bad of an experience. Everything was easy, scheduling the appointment, completing the new patient forms online, the appointment itself.
When we walked in, we were greeted by the receptionist whom was very professional, the waiting area was very clean. Dr. Allen-Williams came out to waiting area to speak with us. We were the only ones there at that time, which made it very comfortable speaking with her. It was like we were having a casual conversation. During the exam, she was very patient with my daughter and myself which was also comforting because we have encountered doctors/nurses whom became in patient dealing with a crying baby. The doctor was very very knowledgeable and upfront, I appreciated it. Im getting ready to switch my 15 year old.

This place is heaven! Very professional and knowledgeable with individual dental plans for children. As soon as I walked in, I felt a good vibe. Very clean and neat facility. I love the carousel theme! It helps kids feel comfortable. If you want good service and care, this is your place! The dentist is so nice and her assistant.

5 STARS TO INFINITY AND BEYOND FOR DR. CYNTHIA ALLEN-WILLIAMS AND STAFF! In the middle of this shutdown, my 4yo granddaughter fell and broke her top front tooth into 3 pieces, and the tooth was still attached. My daughter and I reached out to several emergency dentists, and Dr. Allen-Williams was the only one willing to take my granddaughter! We almost didn't call her because she wasn't "listed" in our provider network!
Even if we had to pay out of pocket, every bit of the cost would have been 100% worth it! The services rendered by Dr. Allen-Williams and her staff were totally, TOTALLY AWESOME! Pleasant, loving, caring on the phone, and in person! Due to COVID restrictions, I couldn't go, but my daughter sent me a text saying "Ma! We got a dentist!" I'd love to find an adult dental office just like this one!
Or better yet, I'd love to be a child again with Dr. Allen-Williams as my dentist :D I could go on and on, but I'll stop here. Many Blessings to Dr. Cynthia Allen-Williams and Staff at the Children's Dental Carousel!

I Felt very welcomed from the door, the dentist was their to greet us which was such a great feeling as a parent, it just shows you truly care. The dentist was accommodating to my concerns about my child. She actually listened and gave me advice for those specific concerns. As a parent we want to keep our kids healthy and we ask questions ao we are informed, so just to see her sit down and listen and them address thme I fell in love with this place.
I am so happy with my visit today and my son is usually standoff to strangers, but he was very open with the dentist interactions. Its very rare to get a healtcare professional to show how much they love what they do and I could feel she loves her job I wish she could my primary doctor she is hands down the best! I pray its not too good to be true! Keep up the above and beyond service! Thank you!

I love this place because it is 100 percent for kids! a pediatric dentistry and it is colorful it is welcoming the staff is lovely friendly, family. Appointments are very accommodating, entertainment is over the top, all procedures.lets say I have yet to see a child coming from the behind the door crying or unhappy or unsatisfied not even a parent.

As mom's, we do the very best we can to make sure that our children our well taken care of which has always been my intentions with my kids however, I fell to be so diligent about his dental care. My son is Autistic and brushing his teeth was always so difficult and to avoid upsetting him, we did the bare minimum just to keep his mouth clean. His first real visit to the dentist was at 3 years old when I felt he was a little older and could handle the dentist.
We went somewhere else and did not receive the best service so I called the Children's Dental Carousel and from the first "Hello" I was ever so pleased. The news of how severe his dental condition was really hurt me and I felt like i failed him. The Doctor reassured me that she could fix the problems and get him back on track. She was so patient, loving and caring with my baby.
She was straight forward with us about what needed to be done and ultimately took several visits to make sure she properly took care of his needs. I truly and from the bottom of my heart appreciate her tender care. She is amazing and truly excellent at what she does. I thank her for helping us and looking forward to my son's follow up care as well as taking my 8 month to her when its time for him to see the dentist!

My son Octavian visits this doctor's office a few times a year and i have never had a problem there. Dr. Williams is wonderful and caring and her assistant is just as caring. I have never had to worry about my son experiencing any type of pain as people do at most dental offices. He really enjoys coming to this office and have never had a more enjoyable experience. Mr. Williams who works at the front is also pleasant to work with but doesn't tolerate ignorance. We've always been in and out within an hour. I would certainly recommend this office to anyone who is thinking about taking their child there!
