There was an miss understanding regarding insurance. I had them do extra work that I would not have had them do to use up some of the money that I would have been getting from insurance. I was on a tight budget and was very careful to not get work done that I could not pay for. They ended up sending me a check to reimburse me from insurance. Several months later, I received a bill.
When I tried to work it out, Kelly was nasty and had a terrible attitude. I really liked my dentist and their assistants, but would never go back to this place or recommend it to anyone else.

Have been going for years. They are great here. Friendly staff! I have seen Gerry, Andy, Chelsea, another hygienist, Dr. Brandon, and Dr. Norman, by far the best in practice. They make you feel comfortable and they really care! I would highly recommend! They explain billing very well especially Kelly! She is very knowledgeable!

FRONT DESK FAIL - especially Kelly I have been going to Dr. Marks for years. I am very upset to announce that I will no longer be returning because of a front desk / insurance error + Kelly's attitude after their mistake. I set up an appointment and the company didn't ask for my insurance company on the call, other doctor's have taken it beforehand.
I was even set up as a new patient because its ad been a while. Once I arrived, they took my insurance card and didn't note if I was in net work or not. They should have asked for the card info, especially because I was "new" and confirmed before the service if I was in or out of network. They had me sign a sheet which they told me would change AFTER they figured it out with the insurance company, still not notifying me that I was out of network and this sheet price would become my actual payment.
I called to figure it out with them afterwards and Kelly, the front desk woman, was very demeaning and rude. She kept repeating my name over and over and trying to lecture me and even slightly elevated her voice. Dr. Marks has always been so helpful and I considered him my family dentist. It is very disappointing that his front desk / insurance woman have left such a bitter taste in my mouth.

I've been a patient of Dr. Marks for over 20 years. His practice and all that are employed there make going to the dentist a pleasurable experience. All of his clients seem too be priorities rather than customers. I had an emergency in a snowstorm and Dr. Marks told me to meet him at the office in 30 minutes. Who does that? So grateful his sons are carrying on the family business.

This is a first-hand rate dental practice. From the moment I walked in, every staff member was polite and courteous. Everything that they did they explained thoroughly before it was done to me. My hygienist, Andi, was extremely skillful and professional, and my cleaning was painless. Dr. Aaron Marks was very professional and thorough with my examination.
To me this is the way every type of medical care should practiced, but such treatment of patients today is sorely lacking. I would heartily recommend Marks Family Dentistry to anyone who wants the best in dental care.

Found that I made a mistake in following the list of providers in my insurance network. Returning to where we are most comfortable and happy means so much more. Thank you to everyone for being a great provider. Our situation and resources may force our hand, but Mark's Dentistry is our favorite and most respected business for our care.

I had another wonderful experience at this office. Not only are the dentists amazing, but the hygienists are gentle, and the receptionists are super friendly. It's only been my 2nd visit, but I really like this office. It's the first time (in my life) that I don't have anxiety about going to my dentist appointments. My four year old son also had a great experience.
It was only his 2nd dentist appointment (ever!) and I was worried that he wouldn't cooperate. He did outstanding! The hygienist allowed him to "check out" all of her equipment and she had a name for every piece.it was really cute! He was a perfect little patient for her and the dentist. At the end of the appointment, he got to pick a toy from the "treasure chest".
