Our Doctors and Staff at Kids Dental Care are committed to providing your child with the highest quality pediatric and orthodontic dental care in a gentle, efficient and professional manner. We place a great deal of importance on establishing lasting relationships with our families, based upon mutual trust and open communication.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association recommend parents find a Dental Home by Age 1 for their infant. An initial infant oral evaluation visit should occur within six months of the eruption of the first primary tooth and no later than twelve months of age. During this important visit we will complete a thorough medical and dental history, complete a thorough oral examination, assess your child's risk of developing oral and dental disease, and determine an appropriate interval for periodic reevaluation.
A pediatric dentist is someone who has completed two or three additional years of post-doctoral training, beyond the general dentistry degree, in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric dental disease. This training includes special education in child psychology and behavior management, preventive dentistry, advanced restorative dentistry, conscious sedation, hospital dentistry and the treatment of the medically and physically compromised child.
After graduating from dental school, orthodontists go on for another two or more years of education just in orthodontics at an accredited orthodontic residency program. Orthodontists are dedicated to helping your teeth and jaws work in union so that you can speak, bite and chew comfortably and effectively.

As a first time contacting the place I had a bad experience. When I first called I said my name and asked how the lady was doing (which I won't expose her name). She promptly responded that "this is a dentist clinic, I'm not sure you know it". I explained the reason I called was to know if they're accepting new patients. She then told me "this is a pediatric dentist clinic, meant for kids".
I told her I have a 3 years old, we are from Middleboro and I'm not happy with my current dentist. I was told they don't accept any new insurance patient at the moment (even before I ask about insurance). I offered to pay out of the pocket but she didn't seem interested and told me the first visit cost is $220 for cleaning without X-ray - which I am okay paying.
I said I was gonna talk to my wife and then come in person when I was told: "you can't just come in at the office, we only take patients, we can talk over the phone". At this point I don't know if she judged me be my accent or something else but I just felt like they did not want to see us. This is 2021 America.

I brought my daughter to Dr. Buccino years ago so he was the first dentist she has ever been to. He told me she had a couple of cavities and that they needed to be filled but he would do it while under anesthesia. I was young, and agreed to it. When my daughter came out of dental surgery she had half of her teeth missing and the other have silver crowns!
I had no idea he was going to do all of what he had done. He never talked about this prior. I was pissed, to say the least. Ever since then my daughter is terrified of the dentist and she now needs braces. Before transferring her over to a new Dentist, every time she would visit this office they'd make a rude comment about her teeth. She is 12 an is very self conscious about her teeth now!
The staff is rude. The Dr. seems nice but he's not all he's cracked up to be. I'm not sure why people like this place. There's much better out there! My daughter now sees Dr. Dan, who's absolutely amazing! Sweet, caring and has a ton of patience. He knows how to calm a nervous kid down!

Kids Dental Care has been wonderful towards my family. I was shocked to read bad reviews below. Dr. Buccino is wonderful with kids. He has a real gift treating kids. Dr B and his staff are always so patient & kind. My family has been going to him for 20+ years now and we won't go anywhere else. One of the things that really stands out to me compared to other dentists and doctors: he takes time to be with you and your family.
You never feel rushed or like a number. He really focuses on getting to know you and your child & giving the best care possible. Sometimes kids get scared at the dentist and he takes extra time to make sure they get the care they need & make it a positive experience. It's hard to find a good dentist who really cares and Dr. Buccino & staff really care! I highly recommend Kids Dental Care for all your child's dental care needs

They are so kind and helpful explaining the step by step process of What they were doing to help make my 5 year old less nervous. The staff is amazing! One thing I do think is worth mentioning is I had a voicemail and an appointment reminder card that my appointment was at 11 and after waiting 45 minutes I ask them how much longer sense I had a meeting and they told me her apt was at 11:40 which they confirmed twice.
I know it was 11 i have documented proof and the voicemail to prove it. If they pushed it back a phone call would have been nice. I know things run behind and I don't mind waiting but 50 minutes is a little crazy. I don't know how the miscommunication happened things happen however they should be a little more cautious in that department. However with that being said I still would recommend them. Great work from the doctor and helping staff.

I've never had issues here and never had an issue with Dr. Buccino. All staff is friendly, patient with kids and the place is clean and in a good area with parking. we have never had to do any procedures yet just routine cleaning and x ray on my almost 4 year old and 2 1/2 year old. They always leave happy.

Dr. Buccino and his staff made us feel like family, that's how much they care for their patients. It's incredibly refreshing to feel like someone in the medical field genuinely cares about the health of the patient, not just the dollars, and to actually be excited for six month cleanings! Switching to Dr. Buccino's practice was the best decision my family has ever made. Thank you so much!

My kids started going there about 2 years ago and one has braces. it was great. however the last year their receptionist is always changing and they need better conunication skills. i received a phone call that they needed to change my child's apt. well first off i have two and they are on the same day so the person should have known that second after i explained non of the other times and days worked and i didnt want to wait 2months. she said thats ok we will move someone else. So basically i didn't know i had an option. Other than the receptionist it is a great office.

Absolutely love this office & everyone that works here! I wish I had them for a dentist when I was a kid. Maybe I wouldn't have crippling anxiety to this day whenever I have to go to a dentist lol. My daughter is very stubborn and freaks out over everything. Somehow they managed to fill 2 teeth without her shedding any tears! It must be magic lol. We won't take our kids anywhere else! They actually look forward to going to the dentist now! Can't say enough good things about them :
