Excellent! I've had poor experiences with dentists in the past, but everyone here was kind and helpful. The office is cozy and inviting as well. Shannon is a great dental hygienist and Dr. Miller used imaging to show me my teeth, which was pretty cool and not something I've had in the past. I think I've found my new permanent dentist!

I would most definitely recommend this office. From the moment I walked in the office, I was treated like I was the only patient there. Very compassionate and thorough. Dr. Darquea explained everything to me. My hygienist cleaned my teeth really good, she took her time and explained my X-rays and how my teeth are doing. Hands down the best dental office in the Springs. Thank you for providing great customer service!

I LOVE this dentist office! It was my second time here and everyone is always so welcoming. I used to get anxious before and during appointments, but now it's easy to relax. They are really great at explaining things in a way you'll understand and always give you options if you need anything. Great place - highly recommend!

I had a great experience. All of the staff were terrific and kind from start to finish. They all were knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. I believe the names of those who helped out dental wise, was Shannon, Angie, and Dr. Miller. The reviews of this office were what led me to come here and I can see why now. The receptionist even worked out a plan for me to keep my payments down with my insurance. It was great that she took the time and recommended different ways to keep the cost down. I can't remember her name! But honestly they were all wonderful. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been going to SmileCOS for about six years. Now a family of 5 - this means we see the office at least ten times a year! And every time for the last six years we receive the same, consistently awesome service. Our children know and are so comfortable with Dr Darquea that they have never had fear of the dentist. Super clean and comfortable space.
Nice amenities like a drink station, movies during procedures, and even balloon animals with kid visits! We recommend the office to everyone and have taken advantage of the referral perks many times! This means many of our friends and family love SmileCOS too!

This is Faith, I just want to say it's good to be back. My family and I had moved from the area in 2014 and switch dentist. We did not have a very good experience with the dentist in our new town so we decided to come back to Dr. Miller's practice. The overall experience was warm and friendly. Every one was very kind and ready to explain any questions and concerns.
Journey and Sarah explained everything in such detail. Being an 18 year-old I needed lots of check ups on my teeth but my new/old team made me feel at ease. DR. Miller was kind and gentle easy to talk to. Compared to all the other dentist I've been to they are definitely the very best. I recommend them!

I have just moved to the Colorado Springs area. I googled dental offices near me and then I read the reviews. They got great reviews so I made an appointment. The staff was very kind and professional. Made you feel right at home. You did not have to wait, the hygienist brought me right back. They have all the high tech dental equipment and the office is very clean. I would highly recommend this office.

Amazing dental office. They are efficient, professional and very caring. I took my 2 year old for her first appointment and before seeing her, they took her to watch her older siblings cleanings to become familiar with the process. My 2 year old did amazing and left with positive feelings regarding the dentist.

Smile COS is an AMAZING dentistry! I would recommend all patience to this place. Everyone is very kind, helpful, and they even teach you about your teeth! My hygienist Sarah was very helpful explaining about my gums. My Dental Assistant Lisa Marie was very sweet and made the x ray process super simple and Dr. Darquea was very nice and very good at his job! Overall, thank you Smile COS for making my transition from a pediatric dentist to an adult dentist super easy and delightful!

Going to the dentist can cause anxiety and this whole team was just AWESOME. Had my first visit with Smile COS Dentistry. The ladies at the front were very welcoming and friendly. My 2 dental hygienist Sarah and Alexis were also very friendly and personable but most of all gentle. Dr. Darquea came in to the exam room with a big warm and welcoming smile on his face, he showed me everything they found and did not belittled me as I have been form other dental offices. I felt as if all the staff, hygienist and doctors really enjoyed working there and that made me feel as if I was in the right hands.

This is by far the most pleasant and helpful Dentistry I've been to. I have much work to do on my teeth and the entire team are all hands on deck with helping me achieve this personal goal of mine. I felt no shame walking in and proud to have a plan set up to get all my dental needs done. I'm looking forward to great teeth again! Brandi H. Dr. Darquea, Robin - Everyone gave me confidence and a detailed outlined a plan that will work with me. I was even squeezed in for a cleaning with another wonderful lady Dentist. So all was great so I'm happy! Thanks guys!

The SmileCOS team was so great from start to finish. Making the appointment and the pre-appointment paperwork was a breeze. When I arrived, I was greeted immediately and made to feel at home with a beverage station and smiles from the coordinator staff. The office is bright, clean and homey. Sarah was my dental hygienist and she was so warm and friendly.
She made it a great experience because she explained what she was doing every step of the way. The room was private and had a nice TV on the ceiling that distracted me during the cleaning. The best part was the water she used to rinse was WARM. no cold blast in my teeth! My tech was fantastic too and made taking x-rays comfortable and quick. and the doctor Dr Miller was attentive and detailed in his explanation of what was going on with my teeth! Overall, I am very impressed with the practice as a whole and would recommend anyone to visit!

This place is everything you want in a dental office- welcoming, kind, and comfortable! They have somehow found a way to make a dental office fun. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and taken care of extravagantly. Sarah, my hygienist did a great job explaining every step of the way. This place is a well-organized operation. Highly recommend.

Such a pleasant first experience with smile COS. Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienist, the assistants, and the doc were so sweet and friendly. I had just come in to do a check in and cleaning and it was so thorough and nice. The office is welcoming and clean. I am in my second trimester and they were very considerate and careful when taking my x-rays and continually checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable.

I've been going to SmileCOS ever since I moved to Colorado Springs in 2017. For my initial appointment, even before arriving I was impressed - I was able to schedule an appointment and send in my new patient paperwork virtually (this was pre-COVID and kind of a big deal!). I had to schedule a couple months out, but that is only a testament to how popular and high-quality this practice is.
The office is a clean, efficient, state-of-the art office with professional, courteous staff. Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand and I left my new patient appointment feeling like a valued customer. All of the staff are knowledgeable & friendly, they make sure I understand everything they did or plan to do regarding my care, and have great bedside manner.
These people love what they do, and it shows! It was very easy to schedule a follow-up appointment for a filling, and I received a thorough explanation and hardcopy of the procedure estimate. I get a cleaning every 6 months with fluoride and the staff are very communicative and flexible. I cannot recommend them enough!

Since I've started going to this dental office I have had nothing but bad experiences and lack of patient care. The first issues I had with this office began with one of my first appointments. I was told I had a cavity that needed to be filled even though I felt no mouth pain within this time before going in to get my cavity filled. After I had the filling completed I had pain with eating in that area immediately after.
I just assumed it was from the filling though and that it was part of the healing process. Long story short, I came in a few times within the months to follow for adjustments before they realized my tooth next to the one I had the filling done on was all of a sudden out of the blue broken! I was told by the dentist that the break could have happened due to anything but I found it very unusual that in my initial exam with the office I didn't have any pain nor did I have a broken tooth until immediately after my cavity filling. It's just very suspicious that the tooth right next to the tooth that I got work done on became broken immediately after.
After receiving a crown and then a root canal by them the problem still was not fixed. At that point I had gone more than 3 months of not being able to use one side of my mouth due to pain. They ended up sending me to an endodontist specialist who managed to fix the issue with yet another root canal. I should have just went to a specialist in the first place.
My next issue was during a routine check up. I received a short form to update my hygienist about any new medical conditions upon my arrival in which I filled out and wrote that I was 17 weeks pregnant under the new medical conditions question and that I was taking prenatal under medications that I am currently taking. I expected my hygienist to read this important information prior to providing me care but quickly found out that she must have not even glanced at it.
I discovered this when she began taking x-rays of my teeth and I became concerned at if what she was doing was safe for me while pregnant and she said she must have glanced over that information on my sheet. The sheet was only 4-5 questions and I had written something about being pregnant on two of the questions so really she just failed to read my form.
After she had already taken a couple x-rays before discovering I was pregnant she then just covered me up finally with the shield. Then she just continued with the x-rays and exam. I am extremely upset that she put my baby at risk by first not shielding me and second for not even discussing with me if I wanted the x-rays in the first place. I felt that the x-rays weren't even necessary and that I could have done with out them until after pregnancy.
This was very poor care and unexceptable! Her failure to read my form resulted in possible harmful risk for me and my baby. After addressing these concerns to the office they were hardly apologetic nor seemed to care. They just said they are confident in their team and the dentist himself did not even care enough to call and hear my concerns.

New to state of Colorado I was looking for new doctors, dentists, etc. I decided on The Center for Family Dentistry based on the many great reviews. Huge Mistake! Mr. FRANCISCO DARQUEA allowed his dental assistant, or (someone who was obviously in training), to fill and drill two teeth! Why did I allow this? I assumed three things: (1). As doctors have went to using NP, that this was the new dental protocol as well. (2).
My husband is in Air Force, our dental insurance had just recently changed, and assumed that this was all part of that change. (3). This is how the state of Colorado does dentistry. You know what they say about assume? Exactly! Lesson learned. The hard way. The dental hygienist or person in training, kept asking for assistance. Mr. FRANCISCO DARQUEA was busy with obviously more important patients than myself and never came to her aid. Lovely! So, she continued yanking, at my teeth, drilling, asking questions to, and talking to, herself. Kinda scary.
I wondered about her mental state and my teeth! When she thought she was done Mr. FRANCISCO DARQUEA finally showed up. He had me bite down, said she needed to remove more resin to make my bite even. And left. She did her best, and kept telling me to come back if the bite did not seem correct, or if there was any more pain. Ummm nope won't be back!
Thanks anyway. Never again will I make a choice based on many great reviews. Never again will I assume anything. Never again will I not ask questions when I feel like something just isn't right, OR second guess walking out! Big is not always better when it comes to business. The personal attention and care is lost. The Center for Family Dentistry has chosen to sacrifice quality over quantity.
At least in my case. If this were an item I purchased I would simplify return it, ask for a refund, or throw it away. However, this is NOT an item or product, it is a medical service that happens to involve my teeth! One of the two teeth she had the most issues with still hurts, and It's impossible to get the floss between my teeth without breaking! Ugh! Now, I have to go somewhere else to fix my teeth, which should have been done correctly the first time! So, I get to experience pain again, take time out of my day again, but hopefully resolve this unnecessary, ongoing, and stressful dental mishap.

I am brand new to the state and was in need of a dentist, I found this office on google reviews and decided to give him a try. Lauren was my hygentist and she was very professional and nice. I am in the dental field myself and was a little nervous to have someone I didn't know clean my teeth, but she was wonderful, and a little "rough", but I like that haha because she actually gets down under the gum line to clean it all out, like a good hygentist is suppose to do!
Not only were my teeth stain free but my gums were happy and the inflammation from tartar buildup went away completely. I already have my second cleanly appointment made and I feel worry free this time.

Had a crown done by Dr. Miller in 2010 and it bothered me ever since. I returned to him to have him look at it later and so did my regular dentist, no answers for the pain. It was always rough on inside edge and hurt to bite. It fell off this year, was recemented by another dentist, and now I find out that it has decay and bone loss under because the crown never fit right.
I am losing that tooth and now need to pay for an implant. My new dentist says it's a shame I'm losing a tooth due to poor work by Dr. Miller. He should buy my implant! Looks like there are a lot of unhappy customers with bad crowns, maybe he shouldn't do crowns!

Great! Flexible, fast, I love the results! I noticed some low reviews and though I believe people are sincere - teeth are tricky. I'm the one that seem to have the most cavities in my family. My sister hardly ever had one. Thus, I have some more-filling-than-tooth molars which needed attention again. Dr. Miller looked and instead recommended a crown since there wasn't much left to work with.
So that day, he quickly manufactured a crown on his hi-tech equipment and installed it. One Trip! My appointment ran long since the additional procedure was unforeseen, but that's to be expected and they worked me in. The office is clean, modern, family friendly with toys, free apples, juice, tea. I appreciate how they greet me when I walk in.
Not the keeping their head down or talking amongst the desk staff then finally get around to the customer with a forced smile. but they really greet me by name, who I'm there to see. I couldn't be happier - which says a lot for dental work. ' AAAAA+++

I had to have several filling. Dr. Miller allowed a tech who was interviewing for a job and unfamiliar with the equipment to do the fillings unsupervised. After several hours in the chair, the Novocain wore off and had to be redone, and still the interviewing tech was allowed to continue. All of the fillings had to be redone later since they were not set correctly. A year later, I am still having pain from them. Dr. Miller gave me gift cards to try to make up for it, but what good are restaurants when it hurts to chew?

I choose Dr. Miller, because previously I read very good reviews online. I have no complaints with the service I receive. I am always able to get a timely appointment. I am also happy with the level of care and customer service I've received there. The staff are always friendly, and Dr. Miller seems very professional to me.

After looking for a dentist for a while, then deciding that i would just put it off, again. I came across several review of Dr. Miller on some other sites and decided to give his office a call. I have been extremely pleased with everything so far. The day before my first appointment, Dr. Miller called to see if there were any topics he could "ease my mind about" before my appointment or if i had any specific questions.
I was stunned! I showed up for my appointment and was greeted by name, the took my picture and very promptly filled out all my paperwork and I was seen within 15 minutes of arrival (that's including all of my new patient paperwork). I knew I had to have some work done, so it really wasn't a big surprise when I had to schedule a followup appointment for the following week. Again, the office called the day before to veriy all the particulars about the next days visit.
I was in and out within 2.5 hours (super fast job -- replaced all of my metal fillings and put in a crown). Dr. Miller called me the next day to see how I was doing. He let me know that if I had any problems at all to let them know and they would get me back in to fix it. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Miller and his staff. The lady who cleaned my teeth was very no-nonsense, went in and did the work and get it over with as soon as possible.
She answered all the questions that I had. I am kind of like a little kid when it comes to medical type stuff.why this, and why that. Dr. Miller has raised the bar. now to find a medical doctor with the same level of care!

I couldn't be happier! The doctor and his assistants develop short and long-term plans for your mouth based on your goals regarding health, cosmetics, and cost! During planning they disclose insurance information to help with budgeting. Dr. Miller called personally to check on me after I had teeth filled and again when I had my wisdom teeth pulled.
How thoughtful! They have a heated toilet for goodness sake! Customer service is king! The front desk staff is kind and patient. I had issues with my CareCredit card (not my fault) and they told me to go home and rest (teeth were just filled), and we took care if it the next day. How considerate! I've never waited more than 2 minutes for my appointment, and I'm usually 10-15 minutes early! These are just good, caring people. Their success is inevitable. =)
