Services
Founded by Community Action in 1991, the Center for Healthy Beginnings began 30 years ago as a small prenatal clinic, caring for pregnant women and delivering babies. In 1994, the Center changed its name to the Center for Family Health (CFH), adding primary medical services and serving individuals in Jackson County and the surrounding areas.
MyChart is an online electronic medical record system. It is available 24/7, is private and secure, and enables all your doctors to access your complete medical information easy to coordinate your care. You can enroll for MyChart at the Center or call the Center's health-information office to get your medical record number.
With six locations in Jackson County, the Center has a diverse team of employees - all united in their dedication to provide comprehensive, quality health care to more than 30,000 patients a year. We strive for excellence, we focus on training, but we know how to have fun while we work. Our salaries are competitive for each job category, and we rise to the challenge of creating work-life balance. After one year of service, the Center will match up to 3 percent of your salary that you contribute to the plan.
The Center for Family Health operates several locations in Jackson County to serve the primary medical and dental needs of patients of all ages. Patients at any facility can access services at the Downtown Facility. Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance are accepted at all locations; no one is turned away because of inability to pay.

Our Nurse Practioner that we loved retired last month. My Husband went to the CFFH saw the Doctor literally for 5 minutes and was prescribed Prozac. Very unprofessional not to spend a little more time getting to know your new patient. My Husband was very disappointed. It's all good I set him up with a HFA H doctor.

They never told me my son had a heart abnormality. Just told me he was perfectly healthy. Also, Monica Hill told me if I didn't get the flu shot(even though I told her I did not want it) I would kill my daughter. I ended up in the emergency room that same night and she said it wasn't the flu shot that caused it.

From the moment I entered the Ob/gyn office, I felt very welcomed. The staff was friendly and professional. I didn't have to wait very long before being taken back to the exam room. Everything was clean and updated. Dr Flood was very prompt in seeing me. She was patient, kind and thorough. I would recommend her to anyone.
