Dr. Robert Mason grew up in nearby North Bergen. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1975 and his doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1978. Dr. Mason began serving the Bergen and Hudson communities when he opened the Ridgefield office in 1980.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Mason's office for over 35 years and when we moved to Forked River which is exit 74 on the Parkway over 20 years ago, we continued with him because he is an excellent dentist and his office staff is beyond compare. He is kind and explains every detail to you, and for me this is a source of confidence, because I truly hate dental work.
I started going to him when he had a small office, so he has to be good because I am a terrible patient when it comes to being apprehensive and he makes you feel at ease. As far as we are concerned you could not ask for a better dentist and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr Mason for almost 40 years. At 16 I had such a fear of dentists from encountering painful experiences. Dr Mason changed that! He is very patient, informative & extremely gentle. Even after I moved out of the area, I still go back for cleanings & any dental issues to this day. My entire family goes. The office is comfortable, updated & CLEAN which is extremely important to me.
The most friendly, accommodating & professional front office staff too. But, NO ONE beats Anna, my hygienist. Most importantly, Dr Mason & his colleges are very honest & intelligent. Always reeducating themselves on updated procedures. I have had almost everything done through the years - e.g. braces, fillings, root canal, bonding, wisdom teeth, cleanings all pain free & beautifully done. Going to the dentist (Dr Masons office) is actually something I look forward to. How many people can say that?

I highly recommend Dr. Mason. He is a genuinely and caring dentist. His staff is the must friendly I have met. Dr. Mason replaced four of my frontal porcelain over mental crowns that were starting to look awful and five molars. I did not have any discomfort during the procedure. Im so please with the result and thankful to him, now I can smile with confidence. Moreover, Dr. Mason's dental prices are very reasonable compared to other dentist. Most important is the quality of the beautiful dental work I'm so proud of.

This is the best dental office I have ever been to! Amanda the hygienist cleans my teeth better than ever before, is thorough and extremely gentle. It's always a pleasure chatting with her! Both Dr. Mason and Dr. Mason-Smith are also very thorough, kind and caring! Nancy at the front desk is so sweet and will always find the answer to any questions you may have. I never have to wait and I always genuinely look forward to my appointment there! I wish I had to visit the dentist more often!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Mason for over 30 years. I have complete trust and confidence in his skills. The entire staff is always very polite and friendly. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist but going to Dr. Mason is a totally different experience. The new dentist, Dr. Kristen is also great.

Excellent and fast service, Dr. Mason did great extracting my wisdom tooth that was giving me a lot of pain. It was so fast and no pain that I could not believe it, I'm glad I went with him. Everyone that works there is very nice, attentive and always willing to work with you to accommodate you for your appointments. Definitely recommend them, excellent Doctor and team.

Dr. Mason and his staff are simply the best, very sensitive and attentive to their patients needs. Even in the face of a daunting task with my dental work they have done everything to show me warmth, compassion, and a welcome feeling when entering their offices. I can recommend them highly, and say that they are the only dentist office you will want and need. Everyone from the welcoming front desk, hygienists, and Dr is top notch. My whole family goes to Dr Mason. He is a very capable dentist and has a gentle touch. My son had bad experiences with the dentist in the past and was afraid to go. Once we switched to Dr Mason, he has had no issues. He just got braces as well and Dr Mason has been great with that too. Dr Mason's staff is also excellent. They are professional, courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend him.
