I have always dreamed of building a dental practice which would be able to provide patients with care at a single office that would meet all their dental needs. Patient care not only entails being able to perform the dentistry, but understanding the patient's needs from their smile to their inner spirit.
Most every dental office or professional organization these days has a website. We try our best to meet all our patients' needs. If it suits your needs best, we may refer you to one of our many partners in dentistry who can take care of you at their office. Browse to their websites to look up directions to their offices, find phone numbers, and more.
A healthy and beautiful smile contributes to a positive self-image and builds self-confidence. It also creates a lasting impression on others, especially if you meet them for the first time. But what if your teeth are chipped, worn down, stained, misshapen, or discolored? Fret not; you can visit us for a cosmetic dental procedure to treat these problems and enhance the appearance of your smile. Our cosmetic treatment procedures ensure restoring your smile to perfection, thus transforming your personality and increasing your confidence.
The general dentistry services that we provide intend to keep a check on your dental health. After performing a dental check-up or examination and finding any concern, we may recommend a suitable treatment option. We treat different kinds of dental emergencies and urgent oral health issues ranging from toothaches, chipped teeth, fractured teeth to abscesses, loose or broken fillings, wisdom teeth, dislodged dental crowns, oral pain, suspicious bumps and spots, and others. You may want to get your tooth extracted because of many reasons - injury, tooth decay, wisdom, or impacted tooth, to name a few.

A big piece of my tooth broke off and I thought I'd probably need a crown. I needed to get it taken care of but we're only traveling through the area when it happened. I found Rand Center and they fit me in as soon as possible. Dr Li saved my tooth so I didn't need a crown and did a wonderful job! That saved me a lot of money. Her assistant (sorry I didn't get her name) was very efficient and personable and the overall experience was painless and professional beyond expectations. The office is clean, very well run and I highly recommend this practice and their highly trained staff. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

My wife and I both had cleaning appointments this afternoon and were so pleased with everyone involved. The receptionists were extremely pleasant and patient, our dental hygienist Helen was amazing and gentle and Dr Fernandez, he's just simply the best. Everything was explained to us and we were shown exactly what we need to do to get our teeth in tip top shape. We would highly recommend Dr Rand and his staff to anyone looking for a phenomenal dentists office.

After just coming out of Rand dental having a teeth cleaning and a cavity filled. I have never had a more relaxing easy no pain seem like I was almost in Jamaica cleaning from Dr. Terry with her delicate hand, very professional never had such a little pain. I would recommend anyone go to her. After going to doctor Lee drilling and filling a cavity also extremely delicate very nice first numbing up the area then drilling to relieve the pain once again never had such an easy relaxed time in a dental chair in my life.

Was a client for years. They never have the same dentist help you and last visits I had 2 crowns that were faulty or improperly done even after multiple return visits. My daughter had a spacer put in that constantly falls out. And my wife went in for a root canal and a crown. It took months to do. The dentist took hours to perform the root canal and ended up gouging her tongue causing her extreme pain. Months later after the crown was installed she started to feel pain so she went to another dentist because they no longer take her insurance to find out she has a massive infection the root canal was improperly done.
She now needs an endodontist. When we called Rand they told us that the dentist who performed that procedure doesn't work there anymore and gave us his new location. Really? How professional is that? Beware! They don't even deserve 1 star! So much more to say here. We went to Rand dental not some individual dentist office Dr Rand should stand by his name.

Christina at Rand center for dentistry in Flanders, NJ is an impeccable hygienist. She was courteous, clean, organized, very gentle but thorough while cleaning my teeth. After the usual scraping and cleaning along gum lines, she used a water pick technique which added to my fresh feeling clean mouth! She even took X-rays and didn't hurt me at all.
She was careful and tuned in to my needs from start to end. It's just so refreshing to receive such care. I've been a patient there since 2015, Dr. Fernandez and Dr. Rand are the most professional and knowledgeable dentists I've ever met or dealt with. Dr. Rand met me for an emergency at the office during the beginning of the Covid crisis which to me meant the world. Dr. G called to see how I was feeling after my wisdom teeth got pulled.
So rare to find that kind of care. They are 30 minutes of a drive for me and well worth it. Best of all, they can care for my young daughters as well. Hard to find all that in one stop. Need a trustworthy, caring, thorough and CLEAN dental office? Rand dentistry is where to go!

I received a text message saying I had a balance due. OK, I'm confused. This is the 1st I'm learning about a balance due and am concerned. I clicked on the link provided but it didn't provide detail. Wow, this is great. How do I know I owe you this? To pay the balance I had to provide a credit card but could not make a one time payment?
No heads and asking me to let them charge me without a heads up? I don't know about you but I'm not giving anyone free access to charge me anytime they want. Especially if I don't know its coming. Not sure who thought this up but wow. I can think of a few NSFW analogies. I tried calling their office but It was a Friday afternoon and the dentist's office was closed so had to wait till Monday to find out what was going on. Great!
I call on money and find out: 1. it wasn't my balance - it was my wife's and daughter's copayment and deductible. Detail should have been provided for clarity. 2. I was told they are going paperless so would not send me a bill - printed or electronic. I asked how am I supposed to know what I owe you? They said I can determine what I owed by reviewing my insurance claim payment statements from my insurance company. Really?
Have you ever added up all the balance due from all the claim forms you get? 3. I finally got them to send me a ledger which is a printout of the 60 transactions on the account. Not exactly easy to read. While the staff has been friendly this is crazy. Every other business actually gives you a bill - printed or electronic. What makes you think you don't have to? I guess I'll be sending a not to the NJ government. I'm all for paperless but nothing at all is just lazy.

Honestly I have always been afraid of dentist. But yesterday at my visit at Rand Center for Dentistry, I was subjected to a relatively pleasant dental experience! The team that took care of me especially Dr. Lee, were professional, compassionate and informational! Not to forget all who I encountered that day from the receptionist at check in and check out! They were all just great! Thank you for taking care of me and keeping me stress free! Keep up the great work.

Always have to go back for second or third time for them to fix fillings. Dr. Li is very unpersonable and she does NOT care about the patients AT all. Li purposely wouldn't fill a filling the last day of my insurance expiring so I'm left with this huge cavity to find another dentist. She filled one filling that day but she will not fill the other tooth even though it's right next to it. Li never even told me why.
She made me very uncomfortable. Unbelievable & unprofessional. Non- existent "patient care". Horrible place they only care about their false reputation and money that's it. I've been going here for many years and I've always had several different dentist fix my stuff more than once too.

Let me just start by saying what Drs office calls you to tell you the appointment before you started late and they are running just a little behind? I was so thankful to get that call. But that is how this office is. The front desk staff is great. You hardly have to wait in the front waiting room before you are called. Hygienist was really nice, did a great job on my teeth, and dentist was really good at explaining how to handle a filling that is really old. Great all around experience.

Who thought that getting a tooth pulled could be fun? But, it was. Dr. Bluma and her assistant Alicia were professional and attentive, but fun. I had a very positive experience at Rand dental office. They were attentive. I had virtually NO PAIN through the entire procedure. They made me feel relaxed and cared for. Thank you.

This is my second time coming here. My old dentist, all of a sudden stopped taking my insurance, so a friend recommended Rand to me. 6 months ago, and this past weekend I was there for a cleaning. The experience was outstanding. The staff is very friendly, and this was the most pleasant cleaning I have every had. My only regret is that I didn't start coming here sooner.

Spolier: i drive an hour to come here. Amazing staff and facility. They make you feel welcome. They take their time and explain the process of what they are doing. Dr. Rand is the best answered my call and questions and goes out of his way to make sure his patients are cared for. Never had a dentist like him before. Like any medical practice waiting can be a pain, but that is because they do not want to do half a job, they want to do it right. They do their best and if not they supply additional options. I rather wait to be seen than to go somewhere when I am not cared for. I highly recommend them!

I have been a patient at Rand dental for 10-15 years, I would say over the last year I haven't been impressed- I recently went in and had x-rays taken, told I needed a root canal but they cant do it or get it authorized within the next month and 2 weeks because then they wont be accepting my insurance come sept 31, as I work in medical and do authorizations I know it does not take that long, I just feel its bad patient care. my youngest daughter developed a severe fear of dentists because of a dental assistant must of been having a bad day, with that fear we now have to have all dental work done in an OR. Don't get me wrong I think the place is clean and the staff is great and very friendly and the dentists are excellent.

Don't go here, they care way more about milking as much money out you as they can far more than what's best for your mouth. I had 8 teeth pulled on 1 day (due to covid restrictions and just trying to get in the office) and my prosthetic took almost 10 months! for 4 appointments. The dr (nice lady) only could come in twice a month, would probably make most people reconsider the whole no teeth for a year thing.
The best part of all of it is after I got my prosthetic after nearly a year of waiting. they blacklisted me. "That dr Rand" fellow wasn't my primary dentist yet almost micromanaged my case? I would see him around me constantly without him actually doing any care to my mouth. Every visit I'd wait almost 40 minutes but as others have said if you're 5 minutes late they'd cancel your appointment.
To top it all of if you feel pain I'd get met with a "be a man about it" just to delegitimize the pain I was feeling. I can go on and on about how if you talked to one receptionist (over a series of months) no other receptionist would have it on file or know what you're talking about! Truly if one assistant didn't stand up and help me through that hell of telephone I'd still be toothless. I can't tell you where to go instead but definitely don't go here. A subhuman experience just awful.

Had to get a tooth extracted and the first dentist who "tried" seriously just used a pliers and nearly gave me whiplash. He eventually have up Went to go see Dr Karim here and it was a world of difference. He took the time to investigate my mouth and extract my tooth with what seemed like comparatively futuristic tools. There was no pain and very little pressure and definitely no whiplash. Ask for him.

Very disappointed with the professionalism. My dental work took so many month. Dentures should have not taken so long. Not as good work as I thought. I wanted to try have the doctors to either correct or replace. I was not able to go and see anyone as as of September my Insurance will not be accepted. The practice is dropping many insurances. Even though I should have been able to have my dental work corrected.
I was told my insurance would run out before finishing. If the work had not taken so long I would not be reviewing. I was very, ,v ery patient with every appointment. Not one staff member cared.

Today Rand Center for Dentistry redeemed themselves from last week. I moved into this area 3 years ago. I transitioned to having them service my entire family. They were always okay. The work done has always been decent. But last week I didn't like my experience. I understand with COVID they put in place procedures that make the most sense for them. BUT they asked me to come to the appointment 15 minutes earlier, and they had me do an online covid form.
They had me wait in my car 20 minutes. They had me do the paper version of the covid form. So, they had me waste a lot of time. I was upset. I walked in and NOT ONE PERSON offered me any insight to what was going on that day because they were obviously struggling with scheduling and staffing. And NOT ONE PERSON apologized. The front desk is nice enough but they need to step up their customer service.
I did speak to someone about what happened last week. BUT TODAY was so much better. There wasn't any waiting and the dental hygienist NALONIE was amazing with my son. She even walked him back to my car. Her bedside manner saved them from losing a family of 4 as patients and saved me from researching and going to a new Dentist.

I will never waste our time going here again. After driving over 40 minutes to get to this office they informed me that they cancelled my appointment. There was ZERO reason to do that, all the paperwork had been filled out and we had talked to the office not even two days ago confirming the appointment. If your time and money are valuable then don't even bother going here.

Negative stars! This is the worst Dental facility ever! The doctor did not explain anything. His work was rushed and all he did was suggest unnecessary work to make an insurance claim. I left in more pain than I was when I walked in! I also received a follow-up call the next day and was advised that I should come back in--Are you kidding me? The work should have been explained and completed properly the first time. This is yet another scam to collect more money from the insurance company.

As far as the Orthodontics goes, very limited hours on scheduling. Their only there select days and hours especially for the amount of patients, making appointments difficult especially after school hours. Most of the staff is rude. Staff thinks its fine to repeatedly say comments for broken brackets etc.to your child and ask them over and over accusing them of lying.
Very unprofessional meanwhile parent is paying for broken brackets and appliances. Orthodontist not very personable to say the least. Braces were on twice as long as they said they would be, you would think they would have a much better estimate of time considering that's what they do. If i was to do it again would definitely have researched and selected another office to use. Beware.

I can only speak for the ortho side so this review is only about that. Took my daughter here a couple of years ago for a free consult. Ortho evaluated her, said they'd sent a pre-determination to the insurance company to determine coverage and then call me to schedule. Two months later, I call them. Oh, we need to do x-rays and pictures. So I bring her back for X-rays and pictures.
They give me a price breakdown which I sign saying I received it and they tell me they'll call to schedule something once the doctor reviews the X-rays and pictures. Guess what never happens? So I decided to take my daughter elsewhere a few months later only to find that Rand billed my insurance company and was paid by them for braces they never put on my daughter! My insurance company had to go after them to get their money back and undo the claim so we could then get our benefits at the new place.

Stay Away from this place! --- Greedy money makers who don't care about you or your dental health--! Brought wife here with a root canal toothache, after some uncalled for "cleaning" -paid by insurance anyway- some Dentist just comes in the room and literally spends 5 seconds in room to say "we can't help you in this office" you need to go see another dentist, then had the nerves to send a bill for $225.00 for the "observation" Not to mention the terrible orthodontic work they did for one of my kids.there are way way much better dental practices around.
