Heather joined the Edina Dental Care team when she relocated to Minnesota from New Mexico. She strives to give each patient the individualized care they deserve and really enjoys getting to know each patient. Heather views herself as a lifelong learner and takes continuing education classes regularly.
This means that we care about you as an individual and whole person. We schedule ample time for each patient and are eager to answer your questions and discuss all aspects of oral health. We will spend time in conversation, getting to know you and what is important to you. We want you to be fully informed so you can make the healthy choices that are best for you.

From writing a story in 2nd grade entitled "I Want to be a Dentist" to serving patients at Edina Dental Care, Dr. Michael T. Kratz has always had a passion for helping people feel good about their smile. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1995, and then completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis.

I'm so happy to have found a dental clinic! The dentist is knowledgeable, listens well, and, I can tell from my first brief visit, takes a measured approach. I have to say that I was sold with just those elements but the team won me over by "getting me." I have been to 3 dentists for a total of 8 visits including today and the 'story' of what's going on is quite long.
When the dental assistant asked, she could tell it was going to be in-depth and got the Dr to allow me to (hopefully!) tell the story for the last time. In addition, the front desk was pure professionalism and very friendly. Those aspects are HARD to find all wrapped up in one place and I'm grateful for the friend who referred me here!

I've been going to Edina Dental Care for over 40 years. The entire office is professional, courteous and runs like a well oiled machine. Dr. Kratz in particular does a great job of explaining what needs to be done, why and provides the solution. I typically schedule my appointments far in advance, however if something urgent comes up (like chipping your tooth), they can squeeze you in. I highly recommend Edina Dental Care.
