I received the zoom teeth whitening treatment. Originally I was apprehensive about the whole procedure because I'm often nervous about thing associated with my mouth. Serenity was my dental assistant and upon arrival she told me everything to possibly expect including the time frame as kind of a forewarning. It's four sets of fifteen minute treatment and they honestly weren't bad at all.

I felt no sensitive or burning. However on the last set I felt a slight stinging sensation on my gum. Serenity was a delight and eased my worries the entire time. Her professionalism and personality is definitely unmatched. It was a better experience because of her. She made sure I was comfortable and managed my pain level the entire time. The entire experience was worth while and my teeth are shades lighter.

I would recommend this service to everybody and request Serenity! Furthermore anytime I visit the office because of my extensive treatment plan with Dr. Brown who is absolutely amazing, I always experience warm welcomes and positivity.

My experience at Southland Smiles was above average. I heard about the practice and wanted to explore the office. My initial visit was the best experience yet from a dentist office. I reached out via phone and the office staff answered every question. I asked if I could submit my new patient paperwork via online and was sent a link and detailed directions.

The Covid protocols they have in place made me feel safe when walking throughout the facility. The space is super clean and protected. Parking is easy and the location is great! The communication among the staff is spectacular. They check-in with each other to make sure your experience is explained in detail. Every cost was explained and every service was described in detail prior to any work being completed.

Each specialist introduced themselves and explained their craft. I live in the city of Chicago and will continue to travel to this office. Thank you so much for making my dental experience such a relaxing one!

Service with a smile for my smile! ***** all around starting with a warm friendly greeting from my treatment coordinator Megan up front for a new customer. All of my paperwork was emailed to me well before the appointment also by Megan so none of that hated clipboard time in a waiting room. After a quick tour of the facility I was in a chair under the very capable hands of Lynn.

She was personable, kind, easy to talk to and most importantly very thorough but never poking too hard with any of those sharp metal tools. She was also willing to explain any little detail I asked about as they were taking a survey of my mouth. Lastly, Doctor Brown popped in for the finishing touches on my exam and talked me through all the technology being used in the office, very cool. Lastly, back to my treatment coordinator who was friendly and expedient with the insurance info and $$$$ at the end. I don't know anyone that looks forward to going to see the dentist but this visit was about as good as it gets. Extra credit for the customized goodie bag on the way out!

My experience has been amazing. My daughter referred me well over a year ago and I have been beyond pleased. The Staff are professional, courteous, very welcoming, empathetic and go above and beyond to explain the dental work you are there to receive. Dr. Van followed up with me more than once last year following an extraction to see how I was doing and to be sure I was okay.

My most recent experience has been with Dr. Brown who has a most congenial bed side manner and put me at ease concerning the issue I was experiencing. Brit, Breanna, the Finance Person, EVERYBODY are all amazing. I have made referrals and my friends are as pleased as I am.

So far so good! This place really is pretty awesome! I initially saw Dr. Brown for my consult and she seems very knowledgeable. I was shown before and after photos of her cosmetic transformations and they truly are amazing. I plan to have her perform my cosmetic procedures. I received a deep cleaning from Lynn and she is so great! She gave me good tips and suggested products to help me keep my gums clean and healthy.

The cleaning was fantastic. Dr. G performed my fillings. She did a really good job, she's also very nice. I plan on completing my dental work here. This place really is great. I also appreciate that they took the time to go over my insurance info with me and create a plan with my expected out of pocket costs, so that way I don't get any surprise bills.

Today @ 7:00am I went in for my 6 month cleaning. My hygienist Vee was amazing she took her time she's very welcoming which make it easy for you to talk to her. Then I got an opportunity to meet Dr. Brown when she enter the room I started smiling because she was African American Woman just like myself. She owned the room (in good way) and I like that! Dr.

Brown was very pleasant and I changed my appointment so I can get opportunity to see her again during my next 6 month cleaning. On to the out process I had the pleasure of having Ana assist me which she was pleasant as well.

I had an amazing experience at Southland Smiles. As a new patient, I felt immediately welcomed upon entering. Lynn was my hygienist and she did a really thorough job while being incredibly gentle on my teeth and gums. I saw Dr. DB for my exam and just like everyone else was amazing, he was good at explaining everything I needed to know in great detail. All in all, I had a 5 star experience and look forward to my next cleaning.

I found Southland smiles due to a dental emergency and now my entire family are patients. Their very attentive and know exactly what their doing. Dr Brown is my Dentist of choice but their all amazing. From the front desk staff who gives out amazing new patient gifts to the dental hygienists who take their time and make your mouth feel like a million bucks.

The teeth whitening was my favorite because i saw a complete transformation. Big shout out to this amazing staff Dr. Brown, Danice, Dulce, Brit, Ana, etc, etc, etc Highly recommended

I could not be more pleased with the care I received during my recent visit. I was greeted by a very friendly Front staff and was given a tour of the office as I was a new patient. That was a nice touch. My dental hygienist, Lynn, was exceptional! It is very apparent that Lynn enjoys her job as she spent time explaining dental care, making dental product recommendations and answering my questions. She is professional and knowledgeable indeed. I have no trepidations in recommending Southland smiles.

Thought this would be a nice place to go. I was WRONG! I was quoted a price for some work to be done. I was given my "out of pocket" charges at my initial visit. When I came back for the follow up.more services than I anticipated or what I was quoted for were done. I as not made aware at the time that I would incur additional OUT OF POCKET charges.

I was told my insurance was covering it. I later received a bill for over $150 more than what I was told. I wish I would have been advised beforehand, so I could make an informed decision as to how I wanted to move forward. Instead, I received a high bill in the mail. This all could have been prevented, if someone would have EXPLAINED to me what was being charged as far as out of pocket.

I called Gabriela, whom I could barely explain the issue to, because she wouldn't let me talk half the time, she kept talking over me! So I'm sure she didn't get the best explanation of why i was calling. Therefore I'm not even sure if she understood the concerns, because I DEFINITELY didn't understand her responses. I felt like she was in a rush or either irritated that I was questioning the bill. However, I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND!

And I won't bother any further. There's plenty of dentist offices I could go to. That's surely how they made me feel. Just another number and not a valued patient :-

Honestly just blatantly disrespectful and treated my issue as a joke instead of as an important client/guest. Luckily there are plenty of other family dentists in the city to go to

Love this dental office. Vee, is a new hygienist and she is a wonderful addition to the staff! She's sweet, patient, and takes her time explaining what she's doing and why. The receptionists and front desk ladies are all sweet! They care about their clients and our lives. Thank you for making a routine checkup and cleaning, the best part of my day!

This place is Great! The staff member Brittany was very friendly. She gave me a tour of the office since it was my first visit. When she showed me to my chair, there was a gift bag waiting for me. I was surprised. I didn't expect to receive a gift. The staff was extremely friendly. Dr. DiBenedetto was great. He gave me a thorough exam. The only thing I didn't like was that I was not able to get my exam, x-ray and cleaning done in the same day. I had to make a separate appointment for the cleaning. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied with my visit.

Southland Smiles is hands down the very best dental office around. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and accepted. They make sure you are comfortable at all times. I have severe anxiety when it comes to dental work and these professionals went above and beyond to make my first visit/cleaning/X-ray/ the most pleasant experience I could have asked for. The staff was very professional. I received my dental cleaning from Kylie she was very thorough and my teeth feel very clean. Dr. Van took time to explain what she saw on the X-rays. I will definitely return to this office.

I brought my baby girl in for a happy visit and we enjoyed every minute of it! We were greeted by Jennifer at the front desk and she was very friendly. The entire staff made sure baby Eden felt at home. The staff was very welcoming and Dr. Brown was so kind and patient with her! She even left with a new toy and toothbrush.

I love this dentist office! I've been seeing Dr Brown on my veneer journey for a while now and if you want to take this journey you definitely want it to be in an office like this! Horrible experience! Beware! Dentist insisted on a procedure that I did not need and injured my tooth causing me to now have two teeth extracted and an implant. He caused unbearable pain which I am still experiencing and unable to properly chew food. Dr. Richard Mantoan, owner of the practice showed a lack of accountability, ethics and integrity in resolving issue.

I had to hire a lawyer as a result and file complaint with Attorney General. I have emails, records and supporting documentation for everything stated here. I am a Flossmoor resident and will never go here again.

Thank You Dr. Van and DA Hope. I had a broken tooth and they took me as the patient of the evening. Dr. Van gave me great advice and set a plan for future treatment. I am very pleased for their help, I recommend this practice to anyone! Thanks again! See you guys on Friday!

Modern, clean, and friendly. Love this dental practice! I have only had two appointments so far and they have been great! My initial visit, I was welcomed with a quick little tour and bio of the doctors. I was also given a very nice gift bag. They also offered nice little touches to make you feel more comfortable such as a neck pillow and massage chair. My tech was very friendly and knowledgable. My dentist was also very friendly and reassuring and gentle.

I am terrified of dentist offices due to bad experiences in the past but my mom convinced me to try Southland where she goes. I absolutely loved it. They made me feel comfortable and even put my anxiety at ease which is very difficult to do. The dentist talked with me and even moved slowly making me feel listened to cared for. I've been going to this office on and off for years now and nothing has changed. The staff is nothing short of kind and genuine. The hygienist and assistants are very knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Brown was easily one of my favorite doctors. All of the things mentioned above as well. I am not a fan of the dentist at all but she made me very comfortable and I trusted her with performing work on my teeth. Thank you Southland!

I was searching for a new dental office, and my co-worker recommended Southland Smiles. Upon check-in, Hiliare gave my husband and I, a tour of the office, then placed us in our respective chairs. There is a gift bag placed on the chair for you. Most dental offices I have been too, usually give a bag that has a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss, and given on my way out.

In my bag, I was given a water bottle, calendar, pen, and hygiene kit that consisted of a toothbrush, toothbrush cover, floss, toothpaste, tongue cleaner, and squeeze-a-toothpaste thing to help squeeze out all your toothpaste. And one of the best things, is the chair is a massaging chair! Hiliare introduced me to my dental assistant, Tracey. She took the films, and went over my health questionnaire. Tracey was great!

From there, I met Sharon, my hygienist, then Dr. DiBenedetto. Dr. DiBenedetto went over everything Tracey and Sharon did, including my imaging. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions, and gave recommendations. Finally, I went back to Sharon for my cleaning and she talked through everything she did, explained everything in detail.

At the end, she scheduled my follow-up appointments. The office visit is about 2 hours, but we were in there a little bit longer because my husband is very sensitive to cleanings and they had to numb him. But other than this, for me, it didn't even seem that long because everything was so seamless from start to finish. This office is top notch and if you reside in the south suburbs of Illinois, I highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed.

My mother saw Dr. Mantoan this week and he not only provides excellent care, but is one of the kindest doctors she has ever had. She has dementia and yet his manner puts her completely at ease! Wonderful experience! Thanks!

Everyone here is so personable and focused on your having a good experience; making an appointment is a breeze. I have never had to wait; the doctors and hygienists here really respect your time, and do a very thorough explanation of what they're doing and why. And here's another nice part-if you haven't been to a dentist for a while, they're very non-judgemental and helpful in laying out a plan that will get you back up to speed in no time, using the most modern methods available. Highly recommended!

I'm so glad that I made the switch to this office. Very professional and clean environment. Staff is very friendly & helpful. I really feel comfortable here and I can certainly appreciate the fact that it's really easy to get scheduled for appointments. At my previous doctor, I would have to wait almost a month to get an appointment set. No more "the Dr is only in once a week". I love this office and I know my husband will too!

Dr Mantoan & Linda, Lisa and Cheryl (best hygenists) and the other dentists and staff are the absolute best. I've been going there for 30 yrs. I had an emergency, late on a Saturday afternoon while I was out of town. Dr Mantoan told me that when I get back into town to come right over and they would get me seen right away. I refer people to them all the time!

Southland Smiles is awesome! They are always so patient and friendly with my children. They always greet you upon entry and there usually is a minimal wait. We have been going to Dr Mantoan and Cheryl for more than 25 years. We love the staff. Dr Mantoan is very gentle and caring. I am not a fan of the dentist but don't have any worries when I go to Southland Smiles for my dental work. I would highly recommend them.

The dental techs are also wonderful and our kids actually like going to the dentists now! :- You might think your current dentist is the best. I honestly can't say much. I had a tooth that needed to be removed and went there as an emergency and they referred me to someone else so I can't say they were the greatest. I'm honestly still trying to figure out what they actually do there. The staff was excellent and they have followed up with emails, etc. so if they did something I needed the rating would be excellent. I don't know how much help this is because they didn't help me at all, but they didn't treat me bad either.

Woke up this year on my birthday with a terrible toothache. Heavy sigh. I was also an hour from my regular dentist, who couldn't get me in for a few days. Southland Smiles got me in right away. Their staff was enthusiastic and friendly and gave me a bag of goodies. I thought it was for my birthday and wondered how so many people went to the dentist on their birthdays that they kept a supply of birthday bags.

But no, this was a perk for new customers. Water bottles, calendars, even seeds to plant. Very cute little idea. The dentist himself, Dr. Mantoan, was professional and helpful. He got me on antibiotics right away and scheduled a root canal. I felt well enough to have birthday cake that evening, so I guess I can thank the dentist and staff at Southland Smiles for saving my birthday.
