I have been putting off some major dental work for a good portion of my adult life, mainly because of fear, but also because I was unsure of how much it would cost or how bad it would be. Dr. Shiva and the whole team at Westwood Family Dental helped me get over my fear and take the leap I have been needing to take! They helped work with my insurance to give me a clear and accurate estimate of the costs, and they gave me the support and care I needed to navigate the process. Today when I came in for the final piece of the work, everyone in the office was so supportive and happy for me - I am so glad that I went with Westwood Family Dental!

I first went to Dr. Shiva 2 months ago for my teeth cleaning. Both her and the hygienist are really kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. To be honest, I usually dislike going to the dentist office because I tend to have a problem with cavities but when Dr. Shiva re-filled my cavities, it was the best experience I have had at a dentist. I really can't take pain and after telling her that, she also made sure to give me a numbing gel before administering the numbing shots and told me how to position in order to minimize pain. I really appreciated that and highly recommend her practice!

I am new to the westwood area and have been looking for a great dentist. I am so happy to have found this office. The front office and back office staff are amazing and so motivated to help you. Dr Shiva gave me the most thorough exam and explanation of my dental treatment in my whole life, not to mention she has good chair side manner. After my exam, I saw Morgan the RDH for a thorough cleaning.

She is beyond funny, kind, and calmed my nerves down. I felt like I was being treated by a family member! She really explained to me why my gums were bleeding so much! I never knew it was from flossing incorrectly -_____-. Dr. Shiva and her staff have made me feel so welcome. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of a dentist in the area :

I have been scared of the dentist for many years. Dr shiva has changed that for me. She makes me feel safe and welcome and she is very honest and nice. She has very good manners and chair side manner, she allowed me to take breaks when needed and I didn't feel pushed into anything. The girls in the front are just as friendly and explain everything. The most knowledgeable doctor and the friendliest staff! I have been a patient of Dr. Shiva Ghahremani for well over 10 years and followed her through the different cities where she has established practices. I have always felt that she provides the best care any dentist could give. She truly cares about my health and her team at this practice that she has joined make going to the dentist fun!

I had the best experience at Dr. Ghahremani's office. From the moment i stepped into the office I was greeted by Kouryn and Maria. They were efficient with checking me in as a first time patient. Dr. Ghahremani was professional, great bedside manner, meticulous and knowledgeable. She took care of my cavity during my first visit. She showed me pictures of my teeth and the actual cavity- 1st time ever and i have cavities chronically. Morgan the dental hygienist throughly cleaned my teeth and showed me how To brush my teeth the proper way. I never knew i was brushing teeth the wrong way. She had such a great attitude. All in all Dr. Ghahremani'sthe real deal, if you are looking for a dentist!
