I have been a patient of Dr. Tromblay for over 15 years. He is the most wonderful dentist - he is careful, thoughtful, proactive and always kind. His practice leverages cutting edge techniques with old fashioned service. The dental hygienist, Cookie is simply the best. I live this practice!

I've been a patient of Dr. Tromblay for over 14 years. We went through tons of different procedures following the comprehensive plan specifically designed for me. I am deeply impressed by the professionalism, knowledge, skill level and friendliness of everyone in this practice. If you add the cleanness of the office and modern equipment, you would realize why I keep coming to Dr. Tromblay years after years. Highly recommend!

Our entire family has been going to this dental practice since we moved to DC in 1983. I feel like Dr Tromblay and his excellent team have been part of our lives. Nearly 40 years of great dental care!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tromblay and his Staff. I was referred to Dr. Tromblay when I was faced with a complex dental emergency. Dr. Tromblay did a thorough diagnosis he immediately reduced my concerns and stress. Dr. Tromblay's office is almost " Spa Like" I mean this sincerely- the staff is caring, there is bottled water in the waiting room, CV procedures are reassuring not intrusive, Spotify 80's music is playing in the background, there are beautiful views from every office, also video's to watch during onces procedure, even a hot towel with the scent of Eucalyptus to wipe your hands and face when its time to leave. Dr. Tromblay and his staff have created a caring, nuturing enviornment.

I have been going to Dr. Tromblay and M Street Dental for nearly a decade. Everything about this practice makes it the very best. Dr. Tromblay has done excellent work on my teeth, including replacing stained veneer coverings and dealing with old gold onlays. I have seen Dr. Slate a couple of times when Mark was away and he is also excellent, dealing perfectly with an emergency during the pandemic lockdown.

The Covid protocols are superb, and everyone is extremely careful and safety conscious. I can't say enough nice things about this office: everyone is kind, considerate, and excellent in their work. The front office staff, Jamillah and Larissa, are lovely and highly organized. Judy, Gloria, and Nia, the dental assistants, are all top notch, warm, and kind.

You could not be in better hands. The two dental hygienists, Dani and Amanda, are also both great and thorough. Finally, I also appreciate Charlie, who does perfect gold work for those of us who are still using gold. My thanks to this entire office from a very happy and satisfied patient.

It was easy for me to make an appointment with Dr. Slate. Everyone in the office were super nice and accommodating. Dr. Slate sat down with me to find out what I was looking to do. He answered all my questions and offered other options for me to consider. He took his time with me and did a great job. I would highly recommend him.

I am very impressed with my experience at M Street Dental. One of the most efficient dental practices I've come across. The customer service of this practice is first rate. Jamillah could not have been more understanding and helpful when I cracked my tooth; she was kind enough to schedule me ASAP for an exam and same day treatment. All their equipment is state-of-the-art. Dr. Slate took digital xrays as well as digital photos with an intra-oral camera so I could clearly see the crack in my tooth before beginning treatment.

Everything about this office is terrific. I love that you can request appointments online. Check-in was easy due to patient registration being completed online prior to your appointment. The staff is knowledgeable and makes you feel extremely comfortable and you can tell they love their work and are happy to be doing it. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. John Slate to anyone who needs a dentist; he is a great person who truly cares about his patients. Last note, the office is accessible by the Metro, in addition to having your choice of parking in a garage and/or street parking.

The best, most meticulous, caring, attention paying, painless, dental care I have received in my 75 years of caring for my teeth. I am including: fillings (old and replaced) extractions, braces, veneers. Expensive AND worth every cent to be able to smile. Total staff is exceptional - helpful and pay attention to detail.

I have been a patient of Dr Tromblay since last March when I was fully vaccinated. My former dentist retired and friends had highly recommended Dr Tromblay. Since then I have had appointments for three crowns and for two for teeth cleaning. The first thing I noticed was the Covid protocols which included a separate air filtering system for each station plus the usual gloves and masks. Had a great experience with Dr. Slate. Initially was looking for two veneers on discolored front teeth. Was given every option, including waiting for the first in-tooth whitening procedure to do it's job. The work is so good, I decided to pass on getting veneers. Dr. Slate understood that I wanted to be conservative from the beginning, and he was consistent in respecting my wishes until the end. Giving me all the info, good and bad, so I could make an educated decision. Very high skill level when it comes to the actual work done. Really happy and impressed, Thanks Ned

When was the last time you loved your dentist? I cannot say enough positive things about this dental practice and every single person that works here. Dr Tromblay worked with me to get me the gorgeous smile I wanted, and the gentleman (on site) who makes your crowns and veneers is a true artist. So recommended.

I have gone to this practice for many years & can't say enough good things about Dr. Tromblay who monitors my implants. He and his staff are very thorough and try to make me feel relaxed. His front-office staff are super knowledgeable. I actually found having my teeth cleaned relaxing today.

Dr Tromblay and Dr. Slade are excellent dentists. We have been seeing Dr. Tromblay for almost 20 years. He and his staff are wonderful to deal with. He is thorough and careful and always fully explains what needs to be done and why. At the same time he has never suggested unnecessary (and expensive) procedures. I am 37 and I finally found "my dentist " instead of just the dentist I go to. Dr. Tromblay and his team are incredible. Their communication and professionalism are unrivaled. I have never experienced a team that is so good in all areas. They are simply the best.

I wouldn't want anybody else drilling holes in my teeth and filling them with love. Seriously though, I was referred to Dr. Tromblay by my previous dentist and I've been quite happy. The treatment rooms have these gorgeous views of Georgetown, and on a pretty day your mind can happily drift away. Also, Dr. Tromblay is a pretty cool dude, really has that "bedside manner" down to a science. Front office staff and hygienists are also super friendly.

I've been going to Dr. Tromblay for over 10 years. He has methodically addressed each issue I had from going to other dentists whose work was quite shoddy (verified with a second opinion from a periodontist). He is patient, thoroughly explains his approach and is quite the perfectionist. The office staff is efficient and very friendly. I'm so glad I found M Street Dental - and am fearful of having to move out of the area necessitating a new search for another dentist.

I've been a client of Dr. Tromblay for almost 5 years now and got nothing but good things to say about his skills as well as bedside manners. I haven't visited a dentist in 10 years before coming to see him, so you can imagine that my mouth was a mess. Dr. Tromblay took time to explain different treatment options and gave me a choice based on how much I was willing to spend.

If he's taking short cuts, then you would know why (usually $$ reasons on your side) and the exact difference in relation to a full job. What's also important, he refers you to specialists who are equally, if not more, skilled than he is in their fields. Maxillofacial surgeon - top notch, endodontist - awesome! You never know how good or bad your previous dentist was until you see Dr. Tromblay. M Street Dental does not accept dental insurance, but they will provide you with the paperwork to submit your claims. Charges are on the upper end of the insurance payout scale (sometimes they go over) which is expected when treated by a dentist of such reputation and skill

I stumbled across Dr. Tromblay's office by accident. I needed a dentist pronto as I had chipped my tooth over the weekend. You know-the old story where friend knocks your beer bottle into your tooth on the dance floor. Well they found me an appointment rather quickly and were very friendly on the phone. When I arrived at the office, the hygienist was very nice and actually took the time to listen to my overall anxiety about being at the dentist. Dr. Tromblay was also really great and was definitely sensitive to my anxieties as well.

He took the time to explain everything he was doing as he fixed my chip tooth and even stopped to review the price with me before proceeding. At the end, my tooth looked like nothing had ever happened to it-really amazing. I was really impressed with the quality and level of patient care. I am returning soon for a cleaning and will probably continue my dental care there. I will definitely reevaluate my visit there soon to see if I need to bump it up to 5 stars.
