This dentist is great with kids! My son is 5 and has always dreaded the dentist or anything to do with his teeth but they take their time and make sure the children are comfortable and know what they are doing. They don't force tools, x-ray sticks or anything on the patient. Since changing pediatric dentists I've seen improvement with how my child reacts when having work done and/or cleanings. I drive 45 minutes just to bring him to a dentist he will be comfortable with and i highly recommend!

I took my 2 year old here today for his first visit and we had the BEST experience! The waiting room is toddler/kid friendly. He got to watch one of his favorite movies (Toy Story) while waiting. I was most worried about how I was going to get him to lay down in the chair for longer than 2 seconds but that was the easiest part. The sweet nurse had on paw patrol on the tv and he laid right down and watched the tv while we talked and she was so sweet and really made the visit easy for me since I'm also a first time mom she explained everything so well.
When I met the dentist she was also so friendly and he continued to lay still and watch tv while she looked at his teeth. She was very sweet as well. I don't usually write reviews but I can't describe how amazing our experience was. The receptionists, nurses, and dentists were the absolute best. This place is definitely family friendly and I will recommend to everyone.

My son had an appointment. A female was smoking right ourside the front doors. She began to laugh when she could tell it was bothering us. Some people are allergic. I asked if they would open the front doors ans they refused. We were the first ones in and they took everyone else back first. I got tired of waiting and crossed my sons name off the list and we left.
A female looked up my number to call me and ask why we left. I wasn't going to call or even go back. I told her why we left and without apology, she hung up on me. She called me while I was driving my son home and after we had wasted time, gas, middle of the school and work day, and she hung up on me. Mind you, this is a receptionist. This is the person who is the face of the business. It used to be descent, but since they moved to the under construction building, it's been going downhill. A doctor is only as good as his nurses and billing people.

My twins had an appointment this morning. First time going to the dentist. They are 3 years old. The staff wanted them to wear mask. I don't know what kind of pediatric place would force mask on healthy three year olds. I'm at a loss for words for this establishment. Masking children is child abuse end of story. After I refused the mask for my three year olds.
They said the dentist would be ok if we waited in the car and wanted to come in when it was time. I would never allow my children to be seen by any kind of doctor who thought it was ok to put face restraints on children. So we left. 10/10 would not recommend. ( also I was wearing a mask after they asked me to put one on myself) not to mention the other kids in the waiting room, Probably at least 8 & 10 years old were not wearing mask either. Which is common sense. Not sure what the deal is with this place but I wouldn't let my children step foot in there ever agian.

I called last week to make an appointment for my daughter as a second opinion and apparently our original dentist had worked at this office in the past. Therefore I was told that whatever he recommended they would probably agree with. I was pretty much told there was no need to make an appointment. Our original dentist was recommending IV sedation. to get a tooth pulled and another one filled simply because my daughter got upset when we went in for a crown and then things changed to having to get her tooth pulled, plus some things that were said in front of her that made her upset. Of course this was her first procedure ever and she was going to be a little nervous. I felt like that was.

I just received a CASHAPP Alert that a $200 payment at Trussville Pediatric Dentistry was declined due to insufficient balance. I do NOT live in Alabama & I find it a little awkward that any payments at that Facility are accepted via CashApp. If I receive another alert I will call my lawyer & take the necessary steps beause the staff aren't screening how payments are being made unless they are the ones initiating this illegal activity.

Great staff! Professional and kind. In and out in 40 minutes. They have TVs with kids movies playing above the cleaning chairs and the lady today asked my daughter what her favorite Disney music was and starting playing the Disney station on Pandora. I love how they explain procedures to the kids in a way that is easy for them to understand and decrease their fears. 10/10.

I took my toddler to his first dental appointment today at Trussville Pediatric Dentistry and we had a great experience! They didn't make us wait long and the cleaning went way better than I thought it would! I didn't think they would be able to even look in his mouth, but they have a tactic for dealing with little ones that works really well. Finding a good pediatric dentist is like gold!

We had a fantastic first visit. My son had a stressful visit with his primary dentist and we were referred to this office to complete the procedure. Dr Massey made my son feel so comfortable and the tooth extraction was painless. We decided that we would be changing to Dr. Massey for his primary visit. The office staff and dental assistants were fantastic too.
