Dr Poppenburg told me on two different occasions that I was lying about my broken tooth. I kept saying it hurt 24/7 and I knew it had cracked. I was in immense pain. He said no, it wasn't broken. Then he said OVER AND OVER AGAIN "oh, its sensitive to hot and cold? Use sensodyn!" I kept telling him it was constant unending pain. But he kept telling me it was only sensitive to hot and cold?

As if I couldn't feel my own pain in my own mouth? So just use sensodyn? Anyway, he refused to help me, and after I didn't have dental anymore I found out it was cracked (duh, i knew) but I also had an abscess under the tooth that required immediate attention. But I cant do anything, because i have no money for it. So im just living with this abscess. Wish he would have listened back when I could have afforded it. But no, he said i was lying. Still 24/7 pain. Thanks, Popperbopper

From the don't desk to the chair everyone was very professional and polite. The dental assistant and Dr Johnson were very comforting since I was being a baby about getting my tooth pulled. It was only a tug. Thanks guys.

I have terrible dental anxiety. I came here after having an awful experience at another place. Everyone is wonderful and caring, not once have I felt bad for avoiding dental care for so long. Compassion goes a long way-And this placed nailed it! Thank you! Also great and patient with kids. Highly recommend.

My family was kicked out of this dentist because my husband has a medical condition where he can not wear a mask. He has a note from his doctor and everything. A dentist here got physically in my husband's personal space and was aggressive in front of our four year old son all because of the stupid mask when we were just trying to ger our son to his basic cleaning appointment. They then sent out a letter telling us we are no longer allowed to come to this dentist. I would give zero stars if I could.

I went in with no insurance. An exam and x rays were done. Estimate was $3,200. They pulled three of my teeth and said we should re look at this treatment plan that we made, so I was sent to anther dentist at their location and he gave me an estimate of $30,000. When I told them I couldn't afford it they stated they have one other option that's $10,000. Most painful dental experience I've ever had as well. Would not recommend.

Dr. Johnson is the best Dentist ever! I can't say enough good things about him. He is always so friendly and welcoming! He is by far the kindest, most compassionate and caring dentist me and my kids have ever seen. My son loved him right away after seeing him the first time. This dentist office is very lucky to have such a wonderful asset to their team. He is the reason we go to this clinic. Thank you Dr Johnson for all your help and wonderful work you have done for us. :

I just had an extraction done there and couldn't be more satisfied with EVERYTHING! From the service to the cost! My doctor walked me through everything he was doing which was amazing. He let me know when he was going to make the extraction and all that. I was in and out in about an hour. And by the end all I had to pay was 143$! Including the extra fee for the nitrous! Great place I highly recommend it to anyone in need of emergency care or just a cleaning!

The few experiences I've had here with the receptionists weren't adequate in my opinion and I left a nasty review concerning them. Today, I received a phone call asking about my experience and how it will be changed to better assist me for the appointments I have in future. I rarely leave reviews but I have never had someone take the time to address my concerns over phone.

Their care team is absolutely exceptional and I feel comfortable regarding any appointments I make for my family and I in the future. They also are sending my daughter a gift and I couldn't be any more grateful to be a patient of theirs.

Southern Heights Dental certainly makes a great impression on your arrival. The atmosphere is bright and the staff friendly. I needed a tooth removed and a bridge constructed. The Dental Hygienist, Molly, and remaining staff made my dental days (it took two) both comfortable and informative. I will return on a regular basis knowing I will get great care at Southern Heights.
