My decision to become an orthodontist began while I was in the graduate mechanical engineering program at Purdue University. Wait a second. As I progressed through my engineering training, I could see that it was not taking me toward my career goals. Although I enjoyed the problem-solving aspects, I wanted something more hands-on and to serve people directly.
I just love being part of the orthodontic field! I met Dr. Altschul when we came in for a complimentary exam for my oldest son. Shortly after I received the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Altschul and his team of professionals. I couldn't thank him enough for the opportunity and for helping my son achieve the smile he deserves!
Dr. Aaron Altschul understands that your smile is unique. He believes you deserve an orthodontic experience tailored to your clinical needs and personal goals. By listening to you, and asking the right questions, he's able to develop a plan that's the perfect solution for your smile dreams. Along with our Altschul Orthodontics team members, Dr. Altschul will support, encourage, and educate you at every step of your treatment. We want you not only to attain a lasting, beautiful smile, but to love the journey, too!
We understand your need to receive treatment in a practice that makes you feel comfortable, safe, and welcome. Please feel free to schedule an appointment or stop by for a complete tour of one of our practices. You will get to meet our team, walk through our office and treatment areas, and learn more about the treatments we provide.

Great experience with Dr. Altschul the friendly team. Appointments were on time, quick, and convenient. For part of my care with them I was living out of state, and they made it very easy to move appointments around according to my relatively unpredictable schedule. You'll be hard pressed to find a team that can fix your smile with fewer bumps in the road.

I struggle posting this because my kids absolutely love Dr. Altschul. They feel comfortable with him, super knowledgeable, and he's beyond welcoming. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending this business or using them for my next two children. This is a business that most of its clients are children, families. I feel they should be a lot more understanding than what they are.
I saw other post that said they were "super friendly and worked with them". In my opinion this is not the experience to be expected. My second appointment with them I was bumped/ canceled because I was 9 mins late. I came from the school and took the side road and got stuck behind a tractor going 30mi/hour for over 40% of my drive. Their rules/guidelines are that if you are more than 10mins. late you can be rescheduled.
If we need to follow the 10 min. rule they need to too! I was absolutely furious that I got my daughter out of school for nothing but I let it slide and I chalk it up to a lesson learned. I also work in outpatient too, so I hate when people are late for appointments. Therefore, I try extremely hard to always be on time. Things happen out of our control, it happens to everyone.
Today I was in a panic about being late and trying to be early to this appointment and I fell over my feet and had a nasty fall. I walked in and looked at their check in computer and check their time right away. Exactly 10 minutes Late. I also noticed right away that they have already removed her name from the check in list, before the 10 min. mark.
I'm standing there covered in mud and blood trying to explain why I'm late, but again they bump us. I get to my car and look at my phone and I had a voicemail from them. They tried to call me and cancel at 5 mins. Late. Seriously?! Understanding? No. Flexible? Absolutely not at all in our circumstances.

Before going to Altschul Orthodontics, my bite was all kinds of messed up. I wasn't sure how it'd ever be fixed, until I received a consultation from Dr. Altschul and his team. Over the course of about two years, they executed a plan that worked wonders on my bite and smile. I'm so grateful for the fantastic work they've done. Additionally, every single person in the office is incredibly kind.
There hasn't been a single time where I've gone for a visit and felt that the atmosphere wasn't positive. I recommend Dr. Altschul and his team 10/10 times. They are all extremely kind, competent, and helpful. They do fantastic work.

Worth every penny we spent. My daughter has a beautiful smile! Everyone was very nice Everytime we interacted. I expressed that I wasn't getting enough information about her progress and they were very quick to update me from then on out. The day my daughter got her braces off, she was very emotional. Staff did a great job to calm her down! Highly recommend to anyone interested in getting braces!

After a little over two years, I got my braces off yesterday at Altschul Orthodontics! They made the experience incredibly easy and went above and beyond in answering any questions or concerns I had during this time. The team is wonderful and truly goes the extra mile in providing quality care to their patients. I would recommend Altschul Orthodontics to any person considering orthodontic care in the future!

This is a very happy joyful place. They really get the kids excited to be part of the cause. With contest and drawings for kids that complete certian tasks. Getting the kids to be activly involved in the treatment and the health of their teeth. They also called to check up on my daughter after the first treatment because they really care.
