Took my 4yr old to her first dental appointment here and I have nothing but Great things to say. Everyone was so very friendly and took the time to explain what they were going to do and to my baby girl's teeth and she was very comfortable. Answered all my questions and took the time to listen to all my concerns. Dr. Jackson and the dental hygienists were just Great! Thank you for a very great 1st time dental experience for my 4yr old today. She is looking forward to her next dentist appointment!

I had a bad experience with this dentist and I want to share it with everyone. Normally I don't do review but I have to do this one. My ten year old son have been going to this dentist for a very long time. The doctor assistant told us that the doctor found cavity in five of my son teeth and it needed to be fill. Four of the teeth was his permanent teeth and one was his baby tooth.
I schedule my son to go in for the appointment to get his teeth fill. When I go to the dentist that day I asked to see the doctor so he could show me the five teeth that have the cavity and needed to be fill. The doctor came to the room where me and my son was waiting and started to show me around the gum area of my son teeth. The doctor was picking around the gum area showing me that these things are cavity.
I said to the doctor no those stuff are food that my son eat today. My son just needed to brush his teeth. I said to the doctor that I needed a second opinion on this. The doctor stop right away when I said this and don't bother to finish show me all the five teeth that he was going to fill and said to me just go and get an opinion on the whole thing.
Then I left the dentist that day and a week later they sent me a certified letter in the mail. When I read the letter it stated that they will no longer provide dental care for my children. I must seek services of another dentist office as soon as possible. They also said they can't provide dental care for my daughter also and my daughter don't have nothing to do with this situation with my son.
It looks like they don't want people like me to come to their dentist who are not going to listen to them and do what they say and speak your own opinion. I took my son to a new dentist two days ago and the new dentist only find cavity in one of my son tooth not five as what this dentist told me. I know some thing was not right. That's why I was never too glad to fill the five teeth when they told me that my son have cavity in them.

Usually I would rate this dentist much higher, but they were extremely busy the day we visited, and they could not or would not take the time and care they usually give my autistic son. He greatly dislikes things shoved in his mouth, and has just started being able to even tolerate the x-ray process. The hygienists today were very quick with him, did not explain anything, and didn't take their time so he could adjust.
It's out of character for this practice, and they are usually MUCH, much better. We look forward to our next visit, and hope it's a little calmer then so my son can relax throughout the appointment.

I took my daughter here for her very first dental appointment. The staff are very understanding of toddlers and young children. My daughter is 2 and shes a handful. She didn't want to lean back in the chair and they just rolled with the punches and worked around how she wanted to sit. Miss Lee explained what she was doing with every new tool. I also love that they let parents go back with small children. I would HIGHLY reccomend taking young children to this office.

My 2 yr old fell and cracked his tooth on the concrete. They were able to work us in to their schedule on very short notice and were so polite and patient with me since I was still in full-blown mom guilt mode. They explained our options and what the prices would be to get him taken care of. They used gas on him when they extracted the tooth and he came out of the room with a balloon, two bouncy balls, and two stickers in hand with a giant snagglepuss smile on his face.
When we went back in for a follow-up and cleaning they were great with him and he now asks daily if we get to go back to the "tooth fairy doctor". I highly recommend this practice.

Was not happy with my experience here. My daughter had to be put to sleep for a procedure and dr. Jackson not once came to talk to myself or my husband after the peocedure. The only info we got was from the dental assistant who didn't give us any paperwork or handouts or even explain what work was done. (We we're told before hand that they were going to do X-rays while she was asleep to make sure nothing else needed done.) her caps took over a month to heal & she got an abscesses tooth from them.
I took her to another dentist for a second opinion & her tooth might need to be pulled if this round of antibiotics don't take care of the infection. The new dentist confirmed that the nerve of the tooth was likely damaged from the procedure. Not only that, but the staff was always in a rush and seemed like they just wanted to get you in and out so they could move onto the next patient.
My daughter hated going there & would cry the whole time, but we haven't had a single issue with her being uncomfortable at the new dentist. We did have one dental assistant who was amazing, but unfortunately everyone else was just not satisfactory.

My son has been been a patient of Young Smiles Dentistry since the practice opened - about 10 years now. He is a nonverbal teen with autism, and the staff has always been very kind and patient with him such that his check-ups are an easy and great experience. I really appreciate that Dr. Jackson accommodates him with a private room for his check-ups and plays a favorite DVD to help keep him calm during his cleanings. Always a great experience -- thanks so much!

One of the front staff was rude, my mother was a bit late with her 2 kids. The staff kept saying rude and humiliating comment because she was like, mind you the whole waiting room was full. For example once they were going to the room, the lady said "make way for the late people". That is just one of many comment that were said. After the paper work was all filled up the staff said they weren't going to attend the 2 kids. They did end up attending the kids but was any of the comment necessary? Be profession, no matter what situation. They lost 2 patients that day.
