David Mortvedt, D.D.S. graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1993. He gained his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine. I have been going to Haymarket Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for about 10 years now. I will NEVER go anywhere else! All of the staff is super friendly and welcoming! They make you feel like family. Every staff member that has worked on or cleaned my teeth has been super gentle! Instead of cringing at the dentist, they make me feel so relaxed and when I had an emergency, they were able to squeeze me in! I love this office

I have been going to Dr Mortvedt for two years now. When I came in my teeth were in pretty bad shape. I'm finally stabilized thanks to Dr. Mortvedt. I speak from experience that he is very conscientious, caring, and skilled! He also has a wonderful chair side manner that puts his patients at ease. The whole office has a very caring way about them and I am so grateful that I found this practice. It is highly recommended.

Best dentist and staff ever! Dr. Mortvedt is extremely gentle, thorough and most of all, honest. All the hygienists are equally amazing. The front desk staff is highly knowledgeable of insurance coverage and will go above and beyond to help their patients. This office is truly a gem! Most dental offices are "factories" pushing you in and out with focus being on numbers instead of quality. This office focuses on quality and personability. Highly recommend!

From Brittany's efficient pre-appointment phone call and welcoming vibe checking me in for my first ever visit to the practice 12/2/20, to Kelly's professionalism and code of excellence in thoroughly performing my cleaning (it had been years since my last), I couldn't have been more pleased. Kelly is awesome! Karena and Julie continued this superb service during my follow-up for a couple fillings on 1/5/21, and DDS Mortvedt was a pleasure on both occasions - he's clearly a skilled professional at his craft. Overall, the practice is clean and has a nice "feel", staff also enforced appreciated Covid protocols during my visits including mask wearing by all, whilst also maintaining a respectful and kind climate. I highly recommend Haymarket Family & Cosmetic Dentistry.

Going to the Dentist doesn't have to be a bad experience. Dr. Mortvedt and his staff are always very friendly to my family. They are really concerned with how we feel and never try to rush us out. The atmosphere is very uplifting and puts us at ease while getting dental work done. We have been going to Haymarket Family and Cosmetic Dentistry ever since they opened and we love it. Five stars.

Dr. Mortvedt and his staff have completely changed my experiences with dentists. He and the entire staff are fabulous and very conscientious about patient comfort. I have never felt the slightest bit of pain in any aspect of the work he has done, and that work has been fantastic. He was able to help correct some issues that kept me from wanting to smile. Now I'm happy to have a big smile! I told him he's "my hero"!

Dr. Mortvedt's office has been used by my family for many years. The staff are kind and helpful and always make you feel welcome. The most recent hygienist I had was extremely thorough and knowledgeable-more so I think than any in my recollection. Whenever I've needed local anesthetic, Mortvedt is particularly gentle and, for someone who loathes needles, he ensures they are barely felt. Definitely recommend this practice.
