Pediatric Dentistry - Roy H Rogers

Amazing DDS for kids of all ages! Their Associates, Hygienist and Dentist always ease the tension of my mini and she sits so well for them thru the cleanings, past feelings and check ups. Simply due to the respect, conversation and quality of care they provide.

My kiddos have been patients here for 7years. I recently had the privilege to work with Dr Rogers and his team for a short while and although life pulled my career in a different direction I wanted to write a review to let others know that just as I always suspected; THIS OFFICE IS TRULY SPECIAL. I have worked in many different dental offices but after working here I saw first hand that the quality of care that Dr Rogers provides his patients is unmatched.

He and his exceptional staff truly care about their patients- not just their smiles and oral health but they really take the time to interact and learn about each child. Dr Rogers goes above and beyond when making patients feel comfortable and does amazing dental work. I really enjoyed working here and I am so blessed to be able to call Treasure Valley Pediatric Dentistry my children's dental home.

PLEASE READ! Roy Rogers DDS either did not do his job properly or intentionally attempted to take advantage of our trust. I understand mistakes are made but this doesn't seem right. We were told my daughter had 4 cavities and it was recommended that we put her under to fill them all at once. Obviously there are dangers with that and she's tough so we decided to do one at a time.

After the first appointment I felt they could have been more gentle and decided to take her to my dentist instead. They did a check up and couldn't find any cavities! They did another set of x-rays and triple checked.

I have been going here for 8 years. Really liked the dentist. But, we went today and two of my kids had cavities. They said they can get my kids in to fix their cavities in June. that's 6 months away. So stupid. No thanks. Find someone else if you want teeth fixed in a somewhat reasonable time. They also ALWAYS try to push your kids to full sedation in a surgery center. Hard pass.

I took my kids to see Dr. Rogers every 6 months for about 7 years. He let my 5 year old get to the point of having 8 really bad cavities and then wanted to sedate her to fix them. We ended up seeing a new dentist. Turns out my 9 year old needs a pallet expander and orofacial myofunctional therapy. Why did Dr. Rogers NEVER mention anything about my 9 year old's pallet, tongue thrust, overbite, tongue tie, etc? If you just want basic dental care and a dentist who does the bare minimum, Dr. Rogers is your guy.

Efficient staff with a wonderful chair side manor. They were kind and informative to both myself and my 6 year old son who was very curious about his first fist visit to a dentist. We had to make a follow up appointment for procedure at a nearby location where they knocked him out for the duration. I appreciated this as I am guessing he will retain a lack of fear of dentistry and will be happy to go back for future checkups.

I would definitely not recommend this Dentistry Office anymore I used to go there with both of my kids for many years and dr. Roy Rogers was at one time amazing but yesterday my son went in for one tooth extraction he does have special needs and at the last minute they decided to pull 5 I asked them to reschedule and they said it would just be best to get it done now and refuse to allow me to reschedule to have him do the extractions with my son asleep so he wouldn't be traumatised for the dentist. He is only 12 years old and is terrified of the dentist now. i am hopful the new office i am taking them to after yesterday will be better. parents beware of this location.

Best dentist office EVER! Everyone here is so nice. The dental assitants and Dr make you feel so welcomed, and are absolutely amazing with kids! My teen had to get some teeth pulled and were so gentle and sweet with him, even he came out of the office saying how incredible they all were! Best pediatric dentistry in the valley!

Dr. Rogers is everything we could ask for in a pediatric dentist! Our two year old started having speech issues and we realized we couldn't brush her teeth like normal. After the consultation with Dr. Rogers we realized she needed a procedure called a frenectomy. Everything about the whole experience was amazing. The office is kid friendly with coloring pages and crayons to occupy them while filling out homework.

Then they have a whole corner of the waiting area for the kiddos to play that is painted in animated characters my kiddos love. The dental hygienists were very personable and great at communicating with my 2 and 7 year old. They made them laugh and understand what was happening as they did it. Dr. Rogers was the best part of the whole experience though.

He's extremely welcoming, witty, fun with the kiddos and very detailed and knowledgeable about correcting and preventing any dental needs. We had a very hard time with the thought of putting our two year old under anesthesia for her procedure and he thoroughly explained the process to us, assured us of how many times he's done it, and ultimately said we will only do it when we are absolutely ready.

We waited 5 months to have the procedure done and it went so smooth. Dr. Rogers took extra time to correct a few things we hadn't discussed and really took great care of our little girl. She's fully healed now and her speech issues are gone. Brushing is much easier, and she has no visible signs of ever having surgery. We are lifetime patients of this practice and my kiddos look forward to going to the dentist now!

We absolutely love this office. Our daughter has had a lot of complications with her mouth and is scared of going to the dentist, but Dr. Rogers has been really good about making her feel comfortable and acknowledged. He works really well with her and doesn't just talk at her. He talks to her, comforts her and acknowledges her fears and concerns as well.

I really recommend this office especially if your little one needs a more affectionate approach. Dr. Roger's does a great job of making sure you are comfortable with everything that needs to happen. he's great with my daughterand i most appreciate not feeling like he's in a hurry or he's got better things to do. They couldn't be a better team.

This guy is the best! I've been taking my 2 boys there for several years now. He has a well established practice with a great staff. He's very positive, awesome with the kids and a great dentist!

If you enjoy spending alot of time in a waiting room, waiting and waiting and waiting, long after your scheduled appointment than this is the place for you. If you have nothing better to do, ever, than pick up the phone and give Roy Rogers a call! The quicker you call, the faster you can get to waiting.
