All our professionals at Southshore Dental maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry. Dr. Patel earned his undergraduate degree in biology and physiology from Michigan State University then attended the University of Michigan Dental School where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While completing his doctorate degree at the University of Michigan, he received the Comprehensive Care Award for excellence in patient care.
We accept most dental insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Southshore Dental of Michigan does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful Dr Patel and his ENTIRE staff are. Each and every person that works there is part of a unique team of caring professionals. Stacy was so patient with us getting to my actual surgical date due to some personal issues. I had all of my upper teeth pulled and implants put in 11 days ago. Most of the swelling is gone now and I can see my gorgeous teeth. For any kind of dental care this is where you want to be. I'll start this with this, I suffer from anxiety when going to the dentist. I have recently had my first appointment with this office and the entire staff is just amazing! They are friendly and patient. I specifically would like to say Trisha, my hygienist, was simply amazing! Her kind spirit made my experience exceptional! She talked me through every step of my appointment and made me so comfortable. Dr. Patel was very kind and thorough. I would highly recommend this office if you suffer from the dentist office worries. After two appointments, I no longer feel fear of the dentist!

There is nothing I can say negative about Southshore Dental. Dr. Patel and his staff have made each visit pleasant and enjoyable as possible. On each visit we were warmly greeted by the staff and made to feel at home. Whenever Dr. Patel has recommended any type of dental procedures, he thoroughly explains the reason and the treatment involved. The staff at Southshore have always been courteous and professional. I couldn't ask for a better dental care for my family.

This is the best dental office I've ever been to. From the second you walk in the door until you walk out. Great customer service along with great service from the providers. I would highly recommend Southshore Dental to anyone who needs dental work done. Dr. Patel is amazing, friendly and cares about your needs. The staff there is like no other. Everyone is so polite and friendly it kinda makes you feel like family. I would like to give a shout out to Raquel who has been working with me. She is very professional, kind and takes good care of you.
