Dr. Jacobson was very attentive and informative about a somewhat complex ortho case that my 9-year old is facing. We went over several options and my impression during the entire discussion was that Dr. Jacobson had the best outcome for my kid's treatment as his goal. There was no pressure to start right away. Instead, Dr. Jacobson was outlining the best time horizon for when treatment should start.

What an amazing experience we had at Jacobson& Tsou Orthodontist practice. I am a 42 year old woman who finally can afford to fix my teeth! All of the staff made me feel very comfortable and not too old to get braces (I'm actually going with Invisalign). They explained what I needed to get done, and laid out a plan of what they could do and how much the total cost was going to be, right up front. They even are giving me a payment plan. A very friendly and knowledgeable group!

So far we have had a good experience with the staff and our daughter orthodontia. They seem to be very knowledgeable about their specialty and are kind and patient. They always seem to have appointments that are reasonable and my daughter likes the patient benefits hub where she can earn prizes like gift cards!

Dr. Jacobson's staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Jacobson is very friendly and good with kids. He's super knowledgeable and very skilled, as I have already one older child who completed her orthodontic work by him several years ago and we are extremely happy with the results. He's extremely thorough and is not rushed like some other medical providers. I am currently taking my second child there who needs orthodontic work as well.

This is the place you go when you want the best for your child's dental health. Braces are about more than just straight teeth - you want a doctor who understands this fully and this is Drs. Jacobson and Tsou. They keep up on the latest research and technology and really focus on what is best for the patient. We used a different doctor for our 1st child and can say this practice is far superior to others. Scheduling is easy, checkin is easy and overall a great experience for child and parent. People drive in from WI and IN for treatment at this Chicago based office. Definitely worth the trip!

The staff at this location are helpful and super nice. Even though this location is a bit further from me, I would come back here because of the staff. Cristina is one of the staff that helped me out. she's super sweet and spend most of her time helping me. I also met Dr. Jacobson, he's very knowledgeable and explained any concerns I have about my teeth. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

Extremely satisfied with Dr. Jacobson. We drive 45 minutes to get to the Vernon Hills office. He has been seeing my daughter since she was a newborn with the cleft team. His knowledge paired with always on the cutting edge of new treatments has reassured us time and time again that we made the right decision to have him treat our daughter. This is the end of our second round with this fantastic staff! We will always be grateful for her beautiful smile.

PPE, and the staff was amazing. Walking into the office for the first consultation was weird. The staff was nice and friendly. When Walking to the office to get your consultation, I felt like I was walking into a mall for your teeth. I have been so similar place like these it was well organized and you do see people getting to teeth fix or braces tightened.

After getting the 3D scan, the orthodontist comes in and examine the picture not your teeth in your mouth, and explain the prices, and what seems to the best treatment. If you have a primary dentist and they don't contact the dentist at all. It is way overpriced even with insurance. It's not worth going there. Also, they use a third party company to make the aligners, so the prices is expensive. If you want to save money, keep on looking there are other places that doesn't use third-party companies. Also, find a place that does contact your primary dentist.

Dr. Ron Jacobson is by far the best Orthodontist ever. He really cares about his patients and takes time to do his best. His staff is always wonderful and very accommodating. I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.

I had my consultation and first treatment recently. Very impressed with the modern and clean facility, as well as the proper social distancing and PPE practiced in the office. Everyone is friendly and efficient, very professional. The doctors are very willing to answer questions and explain the process, the techs are professional and efficient, and scheduling was very easy! Overall great experience

Great staff and service. Recieved braces 16 years ago with Dr. Jacobson (both father & son) and still have my bottom retainer on. Teeth have not shift to this day. I always get compliments on my teeth to this day. I don't make recommendations often but this place is truly the one of the best in the industry and they have 2 locations which is convenient.

I am so thankful to Jacobson & Tsou Orthodontics. I've come here for years and have always gotten precision and state of the art care from their warm, friendly, and experienced providers. Today, again, they came through for me. I had a dental emergency and called on a Sunday for help. Dr. Ray came to fix my mouth within 2 hours. This was a tough situation and required a lot of knowledge of other areas of dentistry and care, and he fixed it perfectly.

He let me know the reason they're closed tomorrow is because they're doing continuing education for their whole staff and taking the whole staff to dinner because many staff members have been there for over 10 years! The staff is excellent and with that lack of turnover, the staff knows your mouth and issues right when they see you. This place truly, truly cares and has the smarts to carry it out! I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so very much for saving my teeth again today, Dr. Ray!

Being over 50, I had many questions when considering this practice for my orthodontic needs. I came to them for a second opinion - Dr. Ray and team were very patient with me and answered all of my questions with empathy. They were actually a tiny more expensive than the first orthodontist with whom I consulted, but I feel like I'm in good hands and receive excellent treatment. It's been 6 months already and am seeing great progress.

They have a great check-in system that alerts techs if a patient is waiting too long. I've never been kept waiting more than a minute or two - they have proven that they accurately estimate appointment lengths and don't overbook. I would highly recommend this practice for orthodontic care.

After visiting several orthodontists I settled on Jacobson Orthodontics, even though they were a bit pricier than other offices. After eleven months of treatment, so far, so good. They're patient and take their time to explain their procedure, along with answering every one of my questions. They office staff is pleasant to deal with when making appointments, checking in and with all billing questions. Definitely would recommend their office to anyone!

Highest prices, mediocre service, top priority for them is payment. I can't understand all the good reviews. My daughter got braces for the price of $5500 our share after the 20% insurance coverage not including various extras. They act like they are doing me a favor each and every visit! I am in the middle of my daughters treatment and cannot go elsewhere but I would not repeat.

We have been coming to this office for both my daughters. We drive from Joliet to come here because of the quality care these physicians deliver to their patients and the awesome customer service from the staff. They are amazing.

I came to you to provide a service that you said you could provide and you didn't, my tooth is still causing the same problem as the day I walked in. Please please do not act like you gave me something FREE or of no charge, what Dr provides a patient a retainer that breaks in 2 months?

I paid for original retainer that broke, in fact the first retainer you sold me also broke at the two month mark but I wore it that way for months and by the time I came in I could not argue my point. SO AGAIN DO NOT CONFUSE REPLACEMENT WITH FREE NOTHING BY YOU IS FREE. I'm wearing the retainer let's see how long it lasts before I need another one. Have a great day! The bone structure of my mouth should of been mentioned before we started this procedure not 6yrs and about 6 grand later.

I went for a "free" consultation for my son. they needed to do x-rays and the charge was $350 dollars. I find out after the x-rays were taken that the full amount needs to be paid in full before I leave the office. Beyond unprofessional. I also come to find out that other dentists will do this exact x-ray for free with a consultation. After that and my $10K estimated price tag for treatment I will most definitely be going elsewhere for a consultation.

Do your homework is the lesson learned. Call at least two or three orthodontists and find out what they include in the "free" consultation and how they take payment. Very disappointing.such a money grab.

My experience with Dr. Jacobson was extraordinary.can I give him a 10 out of 5 stars if thats possible? I recommend Dr. Jacobson to anyone who is considering orthodontic treatment. It has been 5 years since I've had my braces removed and now at 17 years old, I fully realized how important orthodontic treatment is. I get many compliments of my winning smile.from the girls! Dr. Jacobson and his staff were the friendliest and explained every process along the way.

The office is alway fun to visit. My mom and dad did not mind driving an hour or more to his office, they knew that I will be taken care of and my mom said that Dr Jacobson's knowledge and expertise are second to none and she's absolutely right. My daughter just had her braces off after about 20 months of treatment. Our experience here was great. The office itself is very modern and efficiently run. The price was in line with what I expected and it included everything - no extra charges, even for the one time she bent a wire and needed a repair. Followup visits and retainers are included.

One thing I especially appreciated was help with my insurance. For whatever reason my insurance company had an unnecessarily complex process for reimbursement but the billing person at J & T was very patient and helpful in getting it sorted out. And of course my daughter's teeth look great (or I wouldn't be posting a good review)! She was also relaxed during her visits which I credit to the doctors and staff. My dentist had originally referred us here and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone else.

We have just begun our daughter's treatment, but so far it has been flawless. Everyone is kind, competent, and professional. They patiently answer all questions and follow up to make sure all is going well. It's an hour drive for us, but to get this specialist expertise for cleft patients is absolutely worth it!

This place is state-of-the-art! Worth the lung drive from our house and worth the money. Not once in over four years have we experienced a problem with the staff or otherwise. We are always, always treated with patience, kindness and respect, which goes a long way when dealing with kids. Front desk staff is awesome, doctors and hygienists explain everything. Waiting area is comfortable. I would recommend this office every time!

This is a wonderful Orthodontic practice. Our daughter got her braces put on a few months ago and every step of the process has been great. After visiting several orthodontists for my older daughter, we settled on Jacobson & Tsou and have so far been very pleased. They take the time to explain their approach and answer any questions you have. They also run a very efficient office. I'm also planning on having my younger daughter come here. I can't give them 5 stars, as my daughter still has her braces on and I haven't seen the finished product yet, but so far so good!

Me and my two children were treated by dr Jacobson. In each case we followed the dr.'s advise and treatment plan. The results are exactly as promised and expected. I would highly recommend Jacobson Orthodontics for you and your kids.

We took our daughter to this office when we moved from Houston to Chicago. After the consultation she started the treatment with a price tag of $4000 and was promised "top" treatment with satisfaction. After 2 1/2 years of follow-up and visits, she completed her treatment. When the braces came off, her teeth looked perfect. But within 1 week I saw some changes in her teeth even though she wears her retainer religiously.

We went back to the office for further evaluation and some follow up visits. The doctor thinks she had some swallowing problem which caused her teeth to shift. I was shocked to hear that because they have been seeing her for the last two and half years and never noticed that she has such a problem. They prescribed her to see a specialist to correct her swallowing problem.

We were told that after she corrects her problem her teeth should move back to where it was. After seeing the specialist whom they recommended for 6 months in their office, and received another bill for $1200, the results is not as they estimated. Then they suggested she needs resume full treatment. But it will cost us another $3600 and another 10 months of time.

Our daughter is about to leave town to attend college in 7 months which means she can't complete it before she moves. But they came back and said that they may be able to complete it within 7 months. We told them we will explore alternatives. I am thinking to file a formal complaint. My question is why they never detected her swallowing problem during those years of visits.

Why wait for complete treatment before it was detected? Shouldn't the evaluation have been done before the treatment began to avoid this incident? How can I trust these Doctors again after they failed many times to fulfill their promises?

I've had 2 kids get their braces here -- I love everyone at this office - it's efficient, friendly, and successful. I would recommend them to every parent who is considering ortho work for their children.
