Our experienced orthodontist, Patrick Cuozzo, DDS, leads a team of extensively trained orthodontists, dental assistants, and receptionists who are all committed to providing you with the absolute best in care. Our orthodontic procedures include Invisalign clear teeth aligners, traditional braces, and other options for adults, teens, and children. We've established the difference between orthodontists and dentists. Orthodontists have additional schooling, specialized training, certification-and orthodontics is all we do.

Theresa has been working in orthodontic offices on the east and west coasts for 31 years. She has experience in all aspects of an orthodontic office, but is most knowledgeable in insurance billing. She is enthusiastic, hardworking, and believes customer service is one of the most important aspects of her job.
Consultations at Cuozzo are simple and insightful. Your first consultation includes complimentary dental imaging for kids and a sit-down with one of our friendly orthodontic specialists. We'll ask and answer some important questions together. Getting braces too soon can damage a child's teeth and disrupt their life.
The team at Cuozzo Orthodontic Specialists firmly believes in giving back to our communities here in New Jersey, as well as to the world at large. In addition to a variety of charity organizations and events here at home, Dr. Pat volunteers his time and donates funds to organizations in other regions of the U.S. and areas across the globe.

As a cosmetic dentist practicing in NYC and living in New Jersey there is no one I trust more to straighten my children's teeth than Dr. Cuozzo and his amazing staff. My older son just finished his braces and his smile looks fantastic! Dr. Cuozzo is always on the cutting edge and up to date on the latest and greatest technologies in orthodontics. His staff is very caring and always go out of their way to take excellent care of their patients.

Just want to give sincere thanks to Dr. Pat, Judy and all of the office of staff for providing the highest level of service every single day! After 3 years in braces and a major jaw surgery, I couldn't be more happy with the results. I have a perfect bite, I don't grind my teeth and I'm able to chew food! I'm forever grateful for Dr. Pat's and everyone's compassion and hard work to make the process go smoothly for my treatment.
My results are a testament to his dedication to the craft and his ability to handle the toughest cases. My daughter just finished her 2 year orthodontic treatment with great results as well, her bite was corrected with braces, possibly avoiding a type of jaw surgery that I required and she has a perfect smile. Dr. Pat Cuozzo's father, Dr. Gary Cuozzo, straightened my teeth 35 years ago so when it was time for my son's teeth to be straightened I immediately sought out Dr. Pat. And, we have been overjoyed with the results. Dr. Pat's office is clean, well appointed with up to date technology for an efficient sign in process and run by a kind, professional, and well-organized staff.
On each interaction with the staff either on the phone or in person my husband and I were delighted with the terrific customer services we received, as well as the professional, yet kid-friendly environment he has fostered in his business. The teeth are straight, we did not go broke getting them to that point and I truly could not recommend Dr. Pat Cuozzo any higher. If you are looking for an orthodontist who is talented, trustworthy, and has his patients' best interest at heart, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Cuozzo Orthodontic Specialists. Prior to coming to Dr. Cuozzo, we had already been to two different orthodontists and were told our 8-year-old would need to have several baby teeth removed, both upper and lower palate expanders, then braces, next the braces would be taken off, and afterwards he would need braces again as he grew older.
This just didn't make sense to me, but the doctor was dismissive of my questions. We ended up spending hundreds of dollars on x-rays, molds, and even a retainer - all before any actual work had been done to our son's mouth. What a completely different experience with Dr. Cuozzo! At the initial consultation he explained our son would need braces, but not until his baby teeth had come out on their own, and that palate expanders were not necessary at all. Dr. Pat explained the reasoning behind his treatment plan and patiently answered all my questions.
He continued to see our son about every 6 months and at 12 years of age the treatment began. Up until that point, we hadn't even paid for one x-ray. Our son is now 14 years old and just had his braces taken off - Dr. Cuozzo's work is amazing and we are thrilled! We can't imagine all the time, energy, and money - not to mention the unnecessary wear and tear on our son's mouth - that would have been expended had we not been to Dr. Cuozzo.
In addition to being exceptionally gifted at what he does, Dr. Cuozzo is honest, down-to-earth, and kind - to both his patients and their parents. Lastly, I should mention that we travel close to an hour to come to his office and it's well worth it. I would highly recommend Cuozzo Orthodontic Specialists without hesitation!

We are not ones to jump on the computer to write reviews, good or bad, but in this case, we felt it was the least we could do. Our son was pretty severely injured while playing baseball, and we took him to Dr. Pat Cuozzo immediately after the accident. From the minute we walked through the doors of Dr. Couzzo's practice, it was clear we made the right choice.
The level of competency, professionalism, and compassion from EVERY single person we encountered was truly like nothing we have ever experienced before. Dr. Cuozzo is not only the best at what he does; he is equally as amazing a person. Every doctor, regardless of what they specialize in, should aspire to treat their patients as Dr. Cuozzo so naturally does. We will forever be grateful for what he did for our son and our family. We can confidently say there is NO ONE better, truly the best of the best!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Cuozzo and his staff. We adopted our daughters at age 8 and 10. Their teeth were a mess due to poor nutrition, growing in different directions and from their top gums, crowding the other teeth. One needed a palette expander and the other needed two adult teeth removed before having braces put on. I am amazed that their teeth look beautiful now and they have great smiles.
I did not think it was possible. Dr. Cuozzo is very knowledgeable, confident, and extremely easy to talk to. He thoroughly explains each step in the process. He and his staff are all very pleasant and efficient, making most visits short. I had no doubt that my daughters were in good hands. There are also some nice touches - a video game room for siblings while you wait, the radio station plays Star 99.1, a Dairy Queen gift card is given if the child wears the Cuozzo t-shirt, and an outstanding patient appreciation party in April. I highly recommend Cuozzo Orthodontists.

Dr. Cuozzo and his staff are terrific! We took our eight year old for a consultation as his dentist recommended. We were concerned that he may need braces and Dr. Cuozzo explained to us that the concerns we had were nothing to worry about. He and his staff spoke to both my eight year old and five year old like little adults asking them about school and Halloween and my children told us later that everyone was very nice and wanted to know when we would be going back! Extremely friendly and attentive practice! Would highly recommend them!
