DR. STEINBERG graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry and shortly thereafter joined the faculty of the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery where he taught undergraduate students preventive dentistry. While at Columbia, he gained a Masters of Science from the Institute of Human Nutrition and became a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow in nutrition
