Shelton Dental Center - Reid J Ketcher

Though everyone was very nice and the facilities were spotless, They took $300 from me after I told them exactly what I needed, did a whole slew of Xrays, and then said they couldn't do it and refered me to someone in Tacoma. They should not be listed as an Implant dentist as it seems they do very little of that. I was very dissapointed.

I read someone got upset about their Botox injection. I have never heard of a dentist who gives Botox injections. What the heck, never heard of that from a dentist. What a joke.

My first impression was really good. And I thought they were awesome my first couple of visits. Very pleased with the staff and the results of some minor work. I even sent them a Christmas card, telling them how good they were. But something changed, and I was treated like trash the last visit. By both the hygienist and the dentist. I don't like being talked down to and scolded.

I take pride in having nice, well cared for teeth, and i got no positive feedback. Just chastisement for being a few minutes late and a few other really snotty things. Kathy is my favorite, but I only got her my first visit.

Hands down, the best place to go for superb dental care. I had my front teeth capped and they would not apply them until they were absolutely perfect and natural looking. I have worked and lived all over the country and Shelton dental offers world class care and service.

Words cannot describe my absolute gratitude for Dr. Kathryn and her associates at Shelton Dental. I will not go into the gory details of my recent dental emergency. However I will say I am so grateful for the exceptional care I received at Shelton Dental. Not only did they manage to squeeze me in at last minute (not an easy feat before a long weekend), due to my dental emergency.

They were so kind and empathetic to my needs. Best of all, they relieved the excruciating, tear-inducing, seemingly mind-altering pain. I walked in their office with undoubtedly the worst pain I've endured all my years, and walked out feeling a huge relief, and knowing I'd received the absolute best care from everyone at the clinic. Because of this, I would give Shelton Dental all the stars in the sky for their review, and not only the 5 this questionnaire allows.

I love my visits. Been a patient so long that it does feel like family. Lots of Hugs and "how ya doin" when you walk thru. Dr Kathy even took a big splinter out for me when my husband was gone. Nikki, well what can I say about her. So talented, I'll never let anyone else clean my teeth. Thanks to you all.

I stopped going to the dentist a while ago. I couldn't find a professional dentist that could even do an Xray correctly, and then try to charge me for it! I went in to Shelton Dental for a cracked tooth. Not only did I find highly professional staff, I found extremely friendly staff. I will say, that if you as a business are going to charge your patients a $50+ fee for canceling an appointment - perhaps you should have a way for patients to cancel said appointment outside of normal business hours.

I had an appointment on a Monday. Friday night I found out I wouldn't be able to make my appointment as an emergency came up and I would no longer have the funds to go to my appointment. And since you MUST have payment right then and there. I had to cancel. I tried leaving a voicemail (they have none), I tried utilizing their text system they use to remind you of appointments, but nothing sufficed.

So I called first thing Monday morning only to be told I would be charged a fee because I didn't cancel in a timely manner. Now I understand I had a good chunk of time for my appointment and that it hinders a business when cancellations are made. However.doesn't it make sense that if you're going to charge someone a $50+ fee.you'd HAVE A WAY for patients to cancel. Life happens ya know.

I consistently get high quality dental care at Shelton Dental Center! The best dental care I've ever had. The staff is amazing. Candace did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth today, as usual!

Came in to pay a bill that was due on 4/3/19. There was a note on the door saying "Ashley is inside alone. The door is locked. Will be back ASAP". So I wait (knocked on the door a few times hoping someone would hear me). Keep in Mind it's raining and cold outside and I have my 1 year old daughter with me. 5-7 minutes goes by so I decide to CALL.

Guess who answers the phone. Ms. Ashley. So I ask her to come open the door because I need to pay a bill. She then tells me they're in Arizona and they'll be back Monday. Then proceeds to develop an attitude on the phone with me as if I should have know Arizona was located inside their facility. Stay away from this place.

Paid $250 for Botox in October injected by Katherine Siebert, and she has done it for me before with ok results (not as good as a plastic surgeon or dermatologist, but the isn't much choice in Shelton). I am very familiar with Botox and this particular injection had not worked in 7 days -when I was due to leave for Arizona, and I knew that in some cases it might take a few more days ago work and I knew that's what they would tell me. However, the Botox injected at Shelton Dental Center never worked and I suspect either it was mixed wrong or was old.

It should have been in effect at that time and it usually lasts me about 4 months. I came back to the Shelton area in 6 weeks and called the office and told them what had happened and asked for a re-do or refund. They said that I should have told them sooner. I told them that I couldn't very well get anything done about it since I was in Arizona but that if the Botox had been good it would have worked and would presently be working.

They said that at that point they refused to do anything about it; wouldn't offer any replacement Botox (which was the optimal solution for them) or any kind of refund. Buyer beware - this place is unethical and they don't stand behind their work. I'd avoid at all costs. They are cheap, unethical and unprofessional and don't really care about their patients.

I cannot express how much I appreciate everyone at Shelton Dental Center! They have been excellent to me each time I have been in for a visit. The clinic is very updated, and they provide a soothing environment for dental procedures. I worked with Dr. Katherine and Kendal today, and they were phenomenal. Very happy with their care and expertise.

I love how Shelton Dental never lets you forget an appointment. The text message reminders are crucial for me! This has been my dentist of choice for many years now, and I can say that the current staffing is very professional, courteous, and efficient.

We just moved here in the summer, so I just picked a dentist when it was time for my cleaning and I have to say that I picked the best in Shelton! My husband's tooth broke off, so he had to get it fixed (I say HAD to because he HATES dentists!). BUT he loves Shelton Dental Center! He's had to have a lot of extensive work done and it doesn't even bother him to go in! They are great!

I sure had different experience as everyone else. It took 2 weeks to get a appointment and the receptionist told me oh no worries you will get in sooner I will call if I get a cancellation. nope no call. So I get to the appointment first thing I asked if : They don't make reminder calls and I'm told" Yes, we make them", I tell her I never got a call she tells Oh yes we called you, I tell her again I did not get a call from anyone from office not even a missed called, she starts arguing with me that it is says so in the computer so she known someone called.

I couldn't believe it. she would not believe me. Right of the bat I am already upset that she basically says I am lying. I go to sit down and the chairs are really high, I am 5'4" and my feet do not touch the floor and there are no bars on the chair to rest your feet on. I am handicap so feet on floor is a must when I am sitting. As I am sitting I noticed the music is extremely loud and it is today's hip hop music not very soothing if your already nerves about going to the dentist. After a few minutes, I couldn't take it anymore and left. Shame I never saw a dentist.

A+ service always really relatable easy to talk to and help they do an outstanding job in general especially for Shelton

I love Dr. Walsh. He is skilled and professional. He listens to me and gives me the information to make informed decisions. I am very happy with his work. Others in the staff were also both professional and caring. The staff that handled insurance and billing were easy to work with.

Was treated very well. Nicki was my hygienist and was well aware of my concerns and did a bang up job. Dr. Edwards did the examine and addressed my treatment plan very well. Next was Felisha for the financial part of my upcoming procedure and it was handled very professional and to my satisfaction. The only real complaint I have is the younger staff members were gathered right next to Felisha's cubicle and were very loud making it hard to hear her very well. Granted, it was a Friday afternoon. Overall, good experience.

I have been terrified of going to the dentist. This wonderful team made me feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend them.

I liked the hygienists because they checked in with me often and made me feel like I was involved in my teeth cleaning. They made me feel really comfortable.

I just moved to the area, and on the recommendation from a friend, I went to Shelton Dental Center. I received the very best of care. They have very up-to-date equipment, very friendly staff, and are very straight-forward with regard to payments and insurance. Couldn't be happier!

My wife and I went here for the first time today after moving to the area last month. It was hands down the most thorough dentist visit we've ever experienced. Dr. Kathy and her team were considerate, competent and took time to explain every procedure in clear and simple ways. Every question was answered. Every suggestion for additional dental work (for me it was a filling) was backed up with clear reasoning and--quite literally--photographic evidence.

The office was extremely clean and the staff was friendly. I normally don't think of dentists as good or bad: they just are. This place made me take notice, though, which is saying something.

Amazing painless dentist I hate going to the dentist but they really make it easy here and work with the insurance I have. They are funny caring and Do Not upsell which is the reason I left my old dentist. The explain everything real well and live photograph any teeth that are a problem. Doctor Kathy and hygienist Michelle we exceptional and made it so easy to go to the dentist. They have coupons that they run occasionally that helped a lot. The building is beautiful and clean! We are blessed to have Shelton dental center in our community!

Run far away from this office. Horrible customer service, up selling and caring more about how much they can make off of you rather than what is in your best interest. They need a new office manager too, someone who knows how to treat a customer.

Horrible experience, inexperienced staff, poor service, sneaky up selling and did not have consideration for patient experience. Very rough techniques and several mistakes were made on many areas, X-rays, diagnosis, recommendation for treatment and interacting with my insurance company. It was a complete waste of my time and a rip off and I am seriously considering registering a formal complaint with the state.
