The first dentist I've felt I could truly trust with my teeth. Incredibly skilled, reassuring, and diligent. They take the time to help think through your concerns and put you at ease.

My sister goes to Dr. Talaber and she recommended him to me. I am glad she did. I usually only go to the dentist every 3 years (do to anxiety) and I knew this time my teeth would need more help so I gave him a try. I now have gone many times and have had a lot of work done. I can now honestly say the entire team here is truly amazing. Thank you Dr Talaber and all in your office who help me - I am truly appreciative of all you are doing.

I just went for my first visit and it went great! Dr. T and his staff are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Just having moved to Lacey 3 months ago it was time to search for a good dental practice. I was impressed by my first visit to Dr. Talaber or simply Dr. T. Of course, he was the last to see me, but what he said was telling, . Dr. T said his job was made easier by his staff's competent attention to detail and genuine attitude in my needs. I concur.

I have severe anxiety around dental appointments due to having issues being fully numb with a previous dentist when I was in my early 20s. Since then, I've avoided dentists - until I found Dr. Talaber's office. Dr. Talaber is super compassionate about dental anxiety and has a lot of options for dealing with it. Dr. Talaber and his staff have entirely changed my outlook on dentists.

I would recommend this office to anyone seeking a competent dentist and compassionate staff - I recommend them to everyone in my life who I love. I recently had an appointment and Kristin was the one who did my numbing shots - she was amazing and got me numb with only two shots! If you have any concern about being numb enough, please give her a chance. She is amazing!

I have anxiety issues especially with dental work. Dr T and his entire staff are experienced at dealing with scaredy-cats like me. Glenna is a fantastic hygienist. Shelly is wonderful to deal with. She's great at her job and knows all the ins and outs of billing and dealing with insurance providers. I like Dr T's approach to holistic care recognizing the interaction between dental health and our overall health. Grind your teeth? Dr T has information about meditation and ways to deal with stress. I never thought I'd say it but I love my dentist! I highly recommend Dr Talaber for all your dental needs.

Dr. T and team took good care of me and my teeth during the past two years. I felt safe during the pandemic as the staff went above and beyond to make sure the office was clean and safe! Staff are always friendly and I look forward to visiting!

Best dental experience of my life. I've always had dental anxiety, but with a little sedation, I actually fell asleep through most of it! Everyone was very friendly and didn't make me feel ashamed for being anxious about the visit. Definitely would recommend for anyone who wants painless, quality care. Thank you.

After a few years of many consultations with different orthodontists (wish I found them before my wedding ) I finally got my teeth aligned in 9 months. Being in my 30s and a mom of 2, I didn't want years of braces. I was lucky to of found them and able to accommodate to my busy schedule as a mom as well. I highly recommend them if you're wanting to fix your smile without feeling pressured into more. It was fast, painless, and worth it!

I love how friendly EVERYONE in this office is. I've never been to a dental office where everyone puts in that extra effort that makes u feel like whatever ur issue is it is important to them. I won't bring my family anywhere else!

I have to say I was very anxious about having to deal with my dental issues. Dr T and his staff put me at ease. They are extremely courteous and informative. Dt T explained what my alternatives were. What I could expect. How long my total dental care situation might take. I had been to two prior dentists for consultation and after speaking with Dr T, I truly felt more comfortable with the services his practice is offering. Looking forward to a successful outcome. I just cannot say enough about going to this office for dental care. Every person there is so caring and treat you with respect. I have always had huge anxiety about going to the dentist but these people have helped me so much. I could not be more happy with the quality of care I have received. From the minute you walk through the door, you are in good hands.

Lovely visit, friendly people and very informative. I had a lengthy cleaning and forgot to bring headphones and earplugs so the sound of the tools got me a little uncomfortable. But that's on me and not the doctor. They're great, small building but packed to the gills with positive vibes.

I didn't realize how great Dr. Talaber is until I moved 3k miles away. He was my dentist for nearly 20 years. His staff is stable, meaning that I had the same hygienist for at least half of those years and she was always great. I can't recommend him enough.

Came here with a raging tooth ache desperate for relief. Staff and dentist were incredibly compassionate and helpful and pointed me in the direction for treatment. Within an hour they scheduled me for an emergency filling/root canal at another location and my the end of the day I got the filling done and no more pain at an affordable cost. I am so thankful for Talaber and Staff. Thank you!

Best dental care by far that I've EVER had. I had put off dentistry for a few years after the last guy hit a nerve then was a jerk about it and wouldn't listen to me. I needed some minor fillings, they did a little bonding on the front teeth (why has nobody given me this option before? It took about 20 minutes and made my teeth look almost perfect!).

They also fixed a couple of small chips and made me a nightguard. The prices were fair, my insurance covered 100% which is rare. I have not had to wait, they are ready for me when I walk in the door. Everyone is so friendly. They explained everything. They were patient with my questions. Love this place. and that's a big deal. our family has had some terrible experiences with other local dentists.

I've been to this dental office twice. Once for an emergency appointment, and again for a dental crown. The front desk worked with me to get an appointment quickly each time. I had a great experience with the doctor and his staff, their facility and equipment is very up-to-date, and i never had to wait passed my appointment time. Also- my teeth look beautiful, I'm very happy with the results.

I found everyone here to be kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was very happy with the care I received. I had a broken tooth as well as a small cavity needing filling, and though I had a lot of treatment anxiety the dentist was very reassuring. Prices seemed pretty standard for a dentist, and I experienced no billing problems. One of the more positive dental experiences I've ever had.

I went to this dentist's office for an appointment to have a small chip on my front tooth filled. I told them I have no insurance. They had me wait and fill out forms for half an hour. Then when I finally got in the chair, they said the cost for the small filling would be $330. Obviously they didn't want my business, so why did they waste my time? Not professional! Don't go there.find a dentist who cares!

I was a patient in 2013. I decided it was time I got braces to fix my teeth so I went the 6 Month Smiles route. Which I am very happy with my smile. However the entire experience at this dental office was far from great. When I scheduled to actually get my braces put on I made sure I was not working that day. The week and the day prior to my appointment I did not receive a phone call to confirm my appointment.

I tried to get a hold of the office to confirm but the line was busy. When I went the receptionist looked very confused seeing me there. I told her I was there to get my braces. She told me I couldn't get my braces because I didn't make a downpayment prior to the actual appointment. No one ever mentioned to me that I needed to make a downpayment.

I was under the impression that they would be billing me or having me pay after the actual appointment and installation of the braces because I had a few cavities filled from them when I went in for my consultation and I just paid after the appointment. So I didn't get to have my braces that day. I had to reschedule. For the next 6 months every month I would get a phone call from the receptionist asking why I haven't made a monthly payment on my braces yet when I did.

She would always double charge me before realizing that I already made a payment. When my braces were finally removed I was so happy to have to not deal with incompetent receptionists and middle school/gossipy dental assistants. This office lacks organization and professionalism. I am happy with my smile but not the experience of getting my smile. Also the fillings they did for me came out and I had to get them refilled by another dentist.

I can honestly say, I had never ever had a better dentist experience than today. I am so scared of dentist (very bad experience in the past) and I was so fearful to go, but I did. My anxiety level was high this morning, even if it didn't show. Dr. Talaber and Michelle, the assistant made me feel so comfortable as it can get at the dentist and then some more.

Very professional, but easy going at the same time. Dr. Talaber was so careful and took his time, answered every question I had. Everybody in the office is so friendly. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. See you soon :)

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. When I went here I was under employeed, uninsured and broke. So enter Dr. T. I went in to get some work done and left with a $3000 bill for a root canal and I was told that I need 14 othwr fillings. Lies.all lies. When I went to two other dentists I was told that I needed three. That is hundreds of dollars if not thousands of dollars these people were going to charge me for work I did not need! Dr. Talaber is a criminal and should have his license to practice revoked and his ability to teach suspended.

Hi. I have been to highly rated dentists in Santa Barbara, Ca. and Tacoma, Wa. as well as one other in Olympia. If I would have known Dr. Talaber existed I would have never gone to see anyone else. He is the most conscientious, well trained, and patient Dentist that I have ever met. My rating is extremely high based on the excellence of the complicated dental work he has done for me, the high quality standard of his entire staff, the kindness and compassion he brings to his work, and the satisfaction of many people that I know who go to him.

Dr. Talaber was my dental instructor at the University of Washington and I would have to say was the most helpful, kind, and dedicated instructor I came across. His dental skills exquisite, his calm demeanor refreshing, and overall just a great human being. I felt very fortunate to have him as a mentor and more blessed that we are now colleagues here in Olympia, Wa.

I have gone to Dr. Talaber for three years now and I am pleased with his work. The hygienists are through if a little rough, although that may be me not flossing problem. Dr. Talaber is personable and professional. I would recommend.

I've never had to wait past my appointment time at the dentist before I came here. The Dr. and his staff are very nice and friendly and I liked the hygienist that worked on me. I had deep cleaning (scaling), one filling replaced (it was fine and wasn't bothering me but he said it would prevent things being caught between my teeth.it didn't) and a sensitive tooth "desensitized".

It is still very sensitive. I ended up getting an infection in my gum where the novocaine had been injected.very painful and the first time that's ever happened to me! He did get me right in to examine me and prescribed a strong antibiotic for me that did knock it out. It all ended up way more expensive than I'd expected, well over $1500. Even with decent insurance, my portion was $400. I won't be going back.

The Good: uses no mercury fillings The Bad: seems to be kind of a scam, over charged me, and my dental plan, others have have same troubles.
