Gregory Potempa

Our family has been patients of Dr. Potempa for decades! Not only is Dr. Potempa an outstanding dentist who takes his time with each of his patients, his staff is also very friendly providing excellent service in a relaxed, family friendly environment. It is rare to have every member of a family enjoy going for dental visits, but our family looks forward to going to Dr. Potempa's office.

Dr Potempa has been the only dentist I've ever had in my entire life, and I wouldn't change that for anything. Truly one of the most genuine and fun people to be around. I would prefer to not have to get my teeth cleaned more than twice a year, but if I were forced to, getting a few extra minutes to yuk it up with the Doc would be a welcomed consolation. Could not recommend this place more!

OK seriously I have been to probably a half dozen dentists in my life and have not had this kind of experience. So far I have had an exam, my teeth cleaned, x-rays, 2 fillings and a crown. Dr. Potempa suggested that we try doing the fillings without Novocain. We did - and I felt no pain. With the novocain for the crown, I was anticipating my usual painful white knuckle experience.

For me, that has always been the worst part, the shot and all that goes with it. I have no idea how he did it, but after a couple minutes of face patting, cheek pulling etc, he said, now we just needed to wait for it all to take. I had no idea that the shot was ever happening, let alone that it was over. The several appointments I had have just been surprisingly pleasant. His staff is very friendly and professional. I can not say enough about them all.

In my sixty-some years, I've seen a number of dentists, but none I would rather endorse than Gregory Potempa. In the fifteen years he's been my dentist, I can't think of a single time I have been dissatisfied with his care. Most recently, he did restorative work on my teeth, for which I give him stellar marks. He went the extra mile to ensure my dignity through the process, and I am very pleased with the final result.

Through the years, he has always done well describing options and procedures. Now he offers a pay-by-the-month "concierge" plan (I love it!) that reduces my cost for dental care. My appreciation to the excellent staff and to a skillful dentist with a great sense of humor. -- Sue D

I have been seeing Dr. Greg and Marian, my dental hygienist, since I was 3 years old! I now bring my own two children to see him as well and I wouldn't have it any other way. The entire staff is warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Dr. Greg, in addition to truly loving dentistry and always keeping up with this ever changing field, has a wicked sense of humor.

He makes patients feel at ease and the entire staff takes the time to get to know their patients. If you are looking for a knowledgeable dentistry practice who not only takes great care of your teeth but also cares about you as a person as opposed to just another mouth to treat, Dr. Greg is the dentist for you!

Dr. Potempa has been my dentist since I was 10 years old, (maybe younger), but has always great care of my smile. He looks out for potential work and checks on previous work. Very thorough and gentle. Explains everything down to detail and keeps the fear outta the office. Always will recommend. -- Ashley Z

Dr Greg has been my dentist for over 30 years. I took all three of my children to see him, and though they are now all adults, he still treats our whole family. He is a highly-qualified and exceptional dentist. He is up-to-date on the latest techniques and advances in dentistry and never performs procedures unnecessarily. He has a very patient and gentle manner during procedures, explains things in an understandable way, and puts his patients first. I can not recommend him highly enough!

I have been going to Dr. Potempa for over 30 years and that says a lot right there! He along with his great staff have taken excellent care of my kids and my teeth. Thorough exams, gentle cleanings and care in helping to find solutions to certain issues that have come up. There is a friendly atmosphere in the office, smiles and even laughter. Dr. Potempa is a fantastic dentist! I've been going to see him for about 3 years now, and from the beginning, he always does a very thorough job and answers my questions to help me understand what and why he is doing what he's doing. I recently had an infection near one of my wisdom teeth, and Dr. Potempa and his staff worked to get me into the office as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the area.

Greg Potempa has been my dentist for over 30 years! I can't say enough good things about the care I've received from him and his terrific staff. From usual preventative care to really tricky problems I've thrown at him, he has the knowledge and skills to give me the best results with the least amount of discomfort. He stays current with all the new technology and techniques so I know my care is the best available. Most people dread going to the dentist, but I don't! He is just that good - and he's a really nice guy too!

Dr Potempa has been my dentist for over 30 years. The staff is friendly and highly competent. There's lots of continuity due to very low staff turnover, so this is a place that will really get to know you and make you comfortable. I prefer to have dental work done without anesthetic, so I appreciate that Dr Potempa hasn't hit a nerve in all the years he's worked on my teeth. It's a good experience in all respects.

Dr. Potempa is the BEST dentist I have ever gone to or had the pleasure of knowing. Dr. Potempa is extraordinarily talented, professional, and knowledgeable. The rest of his team is equally as wonderful and talented as well. If you are looking for a new dentist please do yourself a favor and go to Dr. Potempa. I cannot recommend his practice highly enough!

Love Greg and his entire group of wonderful people. I've been going to Greg for 20 years and have been a, more than satisfied, patient. Marian has been my dental hygienist since day 1 and I have never seen anyone else since. She is absolutely wonderful! My son Brandon now sees Greg and also has Marian as his dental hygienist. there are not enough words to describe how wonderful they all are.

If you don't enjoy going to the dentist, Dr Potempa is the guy to see. He makes the visit fun and makes sure he talks with all patients. I have been seeing him for over 25 years and his equipment is always up to date and he is super knowledgeable about the current trends in dentistry. I do like Marian, the hygienist, and the office staff are all very friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Potempa for almost 20 years and have always had a wonderful experience with both him and his staff. They really care about their patients and have a welcoming office. I recently had a crown put in on one of my front teeth and it looks wonderful. No one can tell that it is a crown when I tell them, and he worked with me to make sure the color was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

I needed to find a dentist for my son about 7 years ago and when I walked into Dr Potempa's office I knew I had found a perfect fit. He was so attentive and thorough and made my son and I feel like we were at home. I started seeing him after my sons first visit and would never go anywhere else! He is very skilled and I trust him 100%. He is a good honest, well educated and confident yet humble (not cocky at all and he could be if he wanted hes that awesome:) Dr with a lot of experience and believes and is passionate about his craft. Its never fun going to the dentist or doctor but Dr Potempa and his friendly staff make me and my son look forward to going back everytime, even for a root canal!

Marian is the best! I've been seeing Greg since 1984. I think that speaks for itself.

I moved out to the Western burbs a couple of years ago and got tired of making the long trek to see my dentist back home, so I found Dr. Potempa on Yelp.he is awesome. He is extremely friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and extremely charismatic. I recently had a bunch of fillings done there (which were painless and required no Novocaine) and am really pleased. Dr. Potempa even called me on Saturday to see how I was doing and left a voice mail with his home phone number in case I was having any problems.

All of the office staff are very friendly as well.the whole environment is just nice. The only thing I have to say to new comers is that the office is located in a strip mall that seems to have a couple of abandoned stores next to it. Don't be put off by this though as the office inside is nice. All I can say that is so far I am quite pleased and I think this office has a great team :)
