Projecting a healthy image is important. While bright eyes and an attractive hair style contribute to this image, it is your smile that speaks volumes about you and helps others establish a first impression. Experiments show that all it takes is a tenth of a second to form an impression of a stranger from their face and this impromptu analysis dictates the tone of the relationship.
The dentists of SmilesRForever now offer laser dentistry! The soft tissue diode laser now in use by SmilesRForever dentists both reduces treatment time - translating into less "chair time" for patients - and improves patient comfort both during and after procedures. Soft tissue diode lasers work by emitting light that is delivered as quick pulses of energy to the treatment area.

If you want to get screwed out of your money. GO there! Worst place ever. Not sure what has happen to that office but it is no longer friendly. Had to cancel my sons appointment due to my work. They want to charge me a $45 for canceling. I'm sure they will schedule someone right in my sons spot. Very sad! Will not be returning and will find a new dentist for my family.

I had a great experience at smilesrforever. I am a new patient and they got me in the very next day for a severe toothache I was having. I hardly waited in the waiting room and they had an X-ray and diagnosis within minutes. They got me an antibiotic and explained the options. I opted for an extraction and returned two weeks later for the process.
I was terrified but Dr. Blattner and his team made it quick and easy. The tooth was out within minutes and the aftercare was explained throughly. Dentist visits make me very anxious, but there is no reason to be going here. Thank you Dr. Blattner and staff!

If I could give no stars I would. everything they touched in my mouth needed to be re fixed at a different dentist. and thats not the start of it. my wife was also a patient and they made my wife an apt with out saying anything to her, then sent her a bill for not going to the apt that she knew nothing about. then sent the bill to collection's in MY name. these people in the office and in the doc's room know nothing about anything. the only thing i really wish was I could give them 0 stars.

My family has been visiting this office for years. I came for a bad tooth a couple years ago. They told me what was wrong with other things and tried to get me to sign up for a $1600 procedure that was unnecessary without ever addressing the reason I came in. I brought our son for an appointment at 1pm. We were first in waiting room and a sign said they were out to lunch until 1.
They scheduled so that 8 people would be packed in their tiny waiting room and didn't open the window until approximately 1:10. They asked for whoever was first (sign in sheet would be nice) and I stood up and signed us in. Then, they signed in everyone else. Three people were still admitted before my son. When my son sat down and the assistant started getting him ready, another assistant ran into the room and said "______ has been here since 10:30" (this was at 1:30) and they both ran out of the room.
Some time later, Dr. Blattner came in, took a glance, said he didn't see any cavities, then immediately started talking about invisalign, how he's better than everyone else, and it would only be $4500. I asked if he needed to xray but he kept trying to sell. It wasn't until he realized we are scheduled for a cleaning that he decided to x-ray. When that was done thr dentist peaked back in, glanced at the xray and said he looked forward to starting invisalign.
We waited another 20 minutes for them to tell us we could go. This is not a one-time event. This sums up pretty much every visit. These people are too busy to keep track of their patients, too greedy to address the real issues, and too disorganized to hold the appointment times they assign. I can't imagine a scenario where this is acceptable, but options are limited so people take what they can get while this place takes them for all they can. I didnt want to post this review because I dont want to cast shade, but the smiles in smiles are forever never seem to reach their eyes. All I see are dollar signs.

Went here my whole life. started getting really tooth pain/sensitivity around 6+ years ago and would bring it up every 6 months at my appointment. each time never got an answer as to why and instead was pushed on getting invisalign and removing my wisdom teeth in order to have it for less time. finally switched dentists and was told I have 18 cavities that smiles r forever just never decided to tell me about

Went to this dentist for a while once we moved and switched dentist not only did I realize all the issues with my mouth, never once mentioned by smiles r forever. they only focused on the money making items. That wasn't the end they also scheduled an appointment for me and never notified me, and then proceeded to send it to collections requiring an additional $90 payment. If you want to get screwed out of money this is the place for you.

Love Smiles R Forever. Dr's Dwight & John are very professional and friendly as is their staff. Billing has been accurate for insurance purposes. They do not try to "up sell" unnecessary procedures. The girls in the office are always cheerful & smiling. I highly recommend Smiles R Forever. - Greg Musgrave

1) Too expensive. 2) Management staff needs to be mature, professional, experienced and take their jobs seriously. The doctors' immature, unprofessional, and inexperienced children do NOT belong in management (nepotism). 3) Management staff needs to lower their voice levels. When you're nervous and sitting in the dental chair, you do not want to hear the young management staff loudly discussing food, their mothers (who don't babysit enough), their husbands (who don't work enough around the house), etc., etc.
Very unprofessional! (Don't they have any work to do?) 4) Some patients are given a tour of the building, which leads to the question: WHY are there cameras in every room? Who is Big Brother? And, who is Big Brother watching? Lack of trust appears to be a BIG issue in this office. 5) DON'T try to discuss fees or bills with the doctors. The doctors children in management FORBID it and they will rudely SHUT YOU DOWN immediately. 6) Every time we visited, the front office staff had changed. Why?
We have never seen so many changes in an office. 7) The front office needs to learn compassion. Just because some of the management are children of the doctors and wealthy, does not mean every patient has had the same advantages in life. Callous and flippant remarks to patients who cannot afford treatment should not be allowed. This review was compiled by multiple visits to SRF over the course of many months with many patients (grandparents, parents, children).

Dr. Blattner or Dr. Heberer, I had an awful experience with Sarah the receptionist/scheduler, and tried multiple times to speak with Sarah, the office manager. Sarah the receptionist was more than rude to me and I would like to speak with one of you. I believe Caroline tried explained my delieamma to Sarah the office manager, however, Sarah is refuses to call me.
I would hope that my being a patient for more than 30 years, and having my family as patients would account for something. I have spent thousands out of my pocket with you as have my insurance dating back to when the office was Blattner, Murphy and Heberer, and I continued to be a patient even after your move to Waterloo, and after not being able to continue to travel to Waterloo I remained with Dr. Heberer. Please call me so that we can end this relationship the proper way. Maureen

It is difficult to get in touch with the waterloo office as there is no answering service and the hours are not posted on their website. I had to find the hours posted here, on Yelp. The office is listed as open, yet no one is answering the phone and there is no way for me to leave a message. There is also no method of contact listed on the website except for phone, so no way for me to email.
The office called me to reschedule an appointment because my doctor is going to be at a different location, but now I can't even get in touch with them to reschedule because of their time commitments. All this and I'll probably get charged a no show fee for the scheduled appointment that I couldn't move because the office makes it very difficult to contact.

The dentists are nice but the front desk staff is always rude, they are the most expensive dentistry in the area as well. Make sure you have approval from your insurance BEFORE you let them do work, they tell you one thing to sell you cosmetic dentistry, but then once your committed, like paying thousands upfront, saying you will get reimbursed, you won't, they were bordering on insurance fraud with me so I had to walk away without my treatment finished and lost a lot of money. Again the front desk staff is the most rude and unprofessional I've ever encountered at any doctors office.
