Our dentist passed away and we were looking for a new one. Our dentist previously rented space out from SunStar. We liked the office setting and thought we'd give them a try. Our daughter was the first to go there. Both of my kids have immaculate teeth.(early 20's) My daughter was told afterwards by the dentist that she needed extensive work. Needless to say we found someone else and this dentist found "nothing" wrong with her teeth! Don't go here!

I've been seeing Dr. Walsh for quite a few years now and she is absolutely wonderful! Never an issue. Even my 9 year old enjoys going to see her.and you know how kids just love going to the dentist. It is always clean, wait times are very brief, and the front staff are always friendly. Never an issue with billing or insurance either.

Dr. Monica is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Being a patient of Dr. Monica for over 10 years I can honestly say she's seriously the best! Her staff is so unbelievably professional and so kind. The atmosphere is unbelievably great too! You get the top notch experience every time you walk through the door. My son also has been a patient of Dr. Monica for 9 years now as well and he actually loves going to his appointments.

That right there says it all! When a 9 year old boy looks forward to going to the dentist you know you are in the right place! I highly recommend Sunstar Dental to anyone! Dr. Monica has been my dentist for over 15 years! She is absolutely excellent, as is her staff. Walking in for an appointment feels like visiting family. Toni at the front desk is extremely welcoming and personable. Every hygienist is great and gets to know you/remembers details about you even if they haven't seen you in over 6 months. And of course, Dr. Monica does excellent work.

I'm the last person to get excited about a dentist visit, but I'm always relaxed in her care! Even after moving out of state I would consider having exams there if my travel time permits. Excellent practice!

My family and I have been going to SunStar Dental for 15+ years and our visits have always been painless. The office is very clean. It's something I always look for and expect with all my health providers. Everyone is always smiling and having a good time. We have since had many family and friends start going there as well. The girls at the desk are always answering any insurance questions that come up. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Monica Vukotich and her team are amazing. Such a personable group staff. They were all so accommodating and beyond nice to work with! They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and most definitely a place I will come back. If you are looking for the best quality and care with a Dentist. I highly recommend going to this place when you need Dental work done. I give it a A+++ Sunstar Dental.

To post a flyer on my car and on all the cars in my block during a pandemic is reprehensible and shortsighted. We leave our shelter in place to go to get essentials and now have to touch an item a stranger has touched and feel like a stranger has touched our property. This is unacceptable. If you need to contact your current patients please do so by email like my dentist has been doing.

Sunstar Dental is a very professional family orientated dental practice with a matching staff as well. Sunstar Dental also is up to date with the latest dental procedures and makes sure that you feel good about your dental care.

Poor experience with administrative functions, endless time and attention. Thorough cleaning provided. Unsatisfied with the overall approach to comprehensive dental care.

I agree with other reviewers on this site. I wanted to love SunStar dental. I went here because they advertised about being a wholistic dentist. I was on time for my appointment, had a very long wait anyway, and also had a rough encounter with the hygienist (who was very nice, but was very, very rough). Now, please understand that always, at any dentist I've visited, I've been told that I have the cleanest mouth of all of their patients.

I take tremendous care of my teeth and gums and haven't had a cavity. At the end of my visit, Dr. Monica tells me I need a complicated procedure and writes me an order to see the oral surgeon next door to her. I left and got a second opinion - no procedure necessary. I unfortunately feel very skeptical about my encounter here and won't be back.

Just got my fillings replaced at sunstar from a former dentist who did a horrible job the ladies and Dr Monica at Sunstar dental were very courteous and helpful to fix the issue and they speak Spanish. now my entire family goes their. lol to Patricia D no life to stalk wonderful Dr Monica on FB LOSER;

I made my first and last appointment with Dr. Monica at Sun Star Dental. To my surprise a hygenist, rather than the dentist that I was assured would perform the cleaning, began a teeth cleaning that I terminated and excused myself from shortly after it started due to a set of unusual pain and discomfort upon repeatedly and aggressively applying pressure to my teeth despite stopping to advise of same three times and displayed poor bedside manner. I would not recommend to my family, friends or neighbors!

Another great experience at sun star! They have earned all 5 of these stars one hundred times over! My family has been coming here for years and we will continue too. All of the ladies at this location are always happy to see us and make sure to say hi. They always take great care of us and explain what's going on and what can be done to correct any issues we have faced. They can schedule you in quickly and they work just as quick. Keep up the great work ladies!

After shunning dental treatment most of my life because I couldn't find a dentist that could accomdate me as a patient, I found Dr. Monica and SunStar Dental nearly 15 years ago through chance. Dr. Monica and her team have brought me back from my own dental neglect and restored, not just my teeth, but my confidence in the profession. With SunStar I've never had any problems with getting appointments or being seen on a prompt basis, which is a typical frustration with other practices.

My time is important, I meet my clients at the specified time and as a client I demand the same. Lastly, the logic regarding treatment is fully explained and there is always an open dialogue. Honesty, clarity & effective are words I'd use to describe the patient/provider relationship. I've often come in pain or with an dental issue but I have always left my appointment better off.

Either the issue is completely resolved or at the very least a treatment plan with clear expectations. I've referred over 8 people to Dr. Monica and her practice - all have in their own words said it "was their best experience with a dentist".

Such a great place! Dr. Amy was thorough and knowledgeable and made me completely comfortable as a new patient. The front office staff was professional and friendly.

Was very disappointed with their service! I had scheduled an appointment as a new patient. I was originally told I would get a confirmation prior to my appointment but never did. Nonetheless, I was running late and called prior to my appointment to let them know if they would still take me. I was told yes and that it would be no problem as long as I didn't mind waiting in case they took another patient.

I told them waiting was no problem and I was happy to wait. When I arrived, I arrived to an EMPTY waiting area with two employees chatting. As I walked up to them I was greeted by disapproving looks and stern scolding stating I was "very late" I reminded them I had called ahead. One of them said oh well this is very late and we won't take you" I got no empathy at all!

Not are you in pain? Or we have an opening at ____ time, nothing just glares from both employees. To give you an idea my appointment was at 11:45am I walked in at 12:09! I understand it was my fault for running late and had they been friendly and empathetic I would have happily rescheduled or I would have waited until dentist was available. Instead I got scolded from two employees chatting on an empty waiting area! To those employees please remember you are in the service industry not only that but in health care. You are working with patients in pain so please learn some empathy!

My 5 year old son just had his first cavity filled. They handled him wonderfully, not a tear shed. Thank you Dr. Walsh.

Nice people and a good dentist. We called and asked if they accepted our insurance;YES. However, they did not tell us they were out of network, thus we got stuck with 80% of the bill. Probably should have called our insurance co first!

I have had a significant amount of dental work done with SunStar Dental and Dr. Monica is the best. The office environment is professional but still quite personable. The staff make one feel at ease, and the work is done quickly and expertly. The work I have had with SunStar has been pain-free. Highly recommended.
