The woman who cleaned my teeth was OK but not up to your usual standards. Nirvana was great doing my full mouth scan. She is a jewel there.

Initially, raging pain brought me to Dental Care of Oak Park for the first time. After being referred to an endodontist for my root canal, l had a pleasant visit today! The last time l was in a lot of pain due to an infection under an old filling. But today, l was in for a crown and although the process took time (because of the exams, the root canal, healing time, etc.), l think that everything turned out great! Much thanks to Dr. Perna and his whole staff.

Dr Perna, his son, and the entire team are fantastic! I can not recommend them more! If you want the best dental care and calming experience, please go to this practice. Dr. Perna and son spend time with you and take the time to understand your feelings and financial decisions. They have always made me feel respected and comfortable. This is not always the norm. I know for many folks the dental experience is scary and stressful. I promise you, this practice will take away the fear.

Since a youngster, growing up with no dental insurance, and no dental health knowledge, had myriad of issues. During my adult years, I bounced from dentist to dentist in my attempts to fix all that was fixable: loads of cavities; crowns, bridges, gingivitis, scaling, etc. The dentists ranged from "very good" to "just okay." But then, in 1998 I moved to Oak Park, and because of my extensive challenges, my first priority was to find, at least, a "decent" dentist who could monitor my teeth and gums.

I found Dr. Perna. But boy, was I wrong! He's not a "decent" dentist. He's the "BEST"! I moved from Oak Park over 15 years ago, but I never moved from Dr. Perna. I return to Dr. Perna ( no matter where I live) for any-and-everything related to my teeth! No new extractions; no more gingivitis issues, etc., since I gave him charge over my dental health in 1998. Did I forget to mention that I have never felt pain with any of his procedures! (REALLY important to me, because I'm also a really big wimp when it comes to dental discomfort/pain.)

Great staff, friendly, dentist and assistants demonstrated great patient interactions. I was impressed. If I had a dentist like this in the past, I would be willing to go see him for regular checkups. I have avoided any dentist for years because of prior bad dentist experiences.

Dr. Perna is a all star DR. of denistry. Dr. Perna's team is led by Lisa who quarterback's all questions regarding Billing, Appts.,e tc. The dental hygentist dig in like lineman on a goal line stand. Thorough cleaning with tip's on how to brush, floss, and a goody bag to take home. The office staff sends text, emails, to remind you of upcoming appointments. Came in this beautiful office and my tooth was killing me. The two most beautiful personality women that sit at the front desk calml ystop me from.crying I was in so much p ain I had an apset. I had to get tooth taken out the doctor here is amazing the assistance of his are amazing as well. I highly recommend this dentist. A Job well done thank you guys souch I appreciate all of you. I will be back for cleaning. You guys go make that apt with them there the best in town.

I must admit. I love my new dentist home. Both of the dentists are amazing. They truly care about their patients. *Dr. Perna is humble and knows what he doing. He is well experienced, attentive, warm, and is dedicated to the procedures. *Dr. Mike has a great sense of humor, caring, and he is confident. The receptionists here are always warm and welcoming. Lisa is a sweetheart and when ever I go there and she is not around I miss her dearly.

I feel like I am a part of their family. Everyone there is very caring. They understand that going to the dentist is not an easy task for most. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Dr. Mike has even called me the next day after care to see how I was doing. What more can you ask for in a dental office. Thank you my Dental Care of Oak Park family for getting it right every time. Love Dental Care of Oak Park! The staff are always incredibly welcoming and encouraging- from the moment I walk in the door, I feel like I'm with family (in a good way!). From Dr. Perna to the front desk receptionist, everyone is knowledgeable, models passion, and creates an inclusive atmosphere. I've been a client for almost two years and it's one of the best choices I could've made for myself and my family!
