Dr. Takamatsu is a true local - born and raised in the Inland Empire. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine, and later graduated from the highly respected Doctor of Dental Surgery Program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), one of the top dental schools in the United States.
ARESTIN is a prescription product approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is used together with scaling and root planing (SRP) procedures performed by Dr. Takamatsu and our hygienists for the treatment of adult periodontitis. Treating periodontal disease with ARESTIN and SRP may help you manage adult periodontitis more effectively than SRP alone.

Love Dr. Takamatsu, but may have to find someone else because it's impossible to reschedule an appointment for a cleaning. I try not to have to reschedule, but sometimes emergencies come, especially with our current "new normal" pandemic life. I had to reschedule an appointment in December. I asked to be on the list if ever there was a cancelation. I never received a call and now I had to reschedule in August, almost a year later, a year and a half since my last cleaning! So sad that I might have to find a new dentist.

I had been searching for a new dentist office for a while and I finally found the one! Such a great experience. Professional every step of the way. Doctor, dental assistant and dental hygienist were all very thorough and I never felt rushed and Judy at the front desk was so nice and went above and beyond to accommodate my scheduling issues. Great team in that office!

I have happily been a patient of Dr. Takamatsu for over a decade. Highly professional, only recommends major work when truly necessary and takes into account each patient's each unique situation when performing any procedure. He is aware that I need more than the usual amount of novacaine for a patient my age and weight. I feel much more at ease under his care as he does not want me to experience any pain, nor do I want to feel it.
I can relax more when in his chair, as opposed to any other dentist I've had previously. As long as I Iive in S. California, both my wife and I will only see Dr. Takamatsu for all our dental needs. You can't go wrong under his care.

Dr. Takamatsu has been our family dentist for most if my life. During my first cavity filling before providing me my first novacaine shot, he patiently answered all of my many questions.over and over again. Until he realized I was just stalling. He has a huge heart, along with skill hands. Everything you're looking for from a dentist.

Dr. Takamatsu and his staff cares for ALL members of our large family. He and his staff are absolutely wonderful. We have felt completely safe receiving care during the pandemic. He is honest and we completely trust him. We are so happy to have found him (many thanks to a neighbor who recommended him when our old dentist retired).

I love Dr. T, and Judy, Christine, Sherry, Ashley. everyone at this practice is great. I have been going to Dr. Takamatsu for the last 8-10 years, and my kids have grown up under his care. They used to come home from far away to see him twice a year, but now my adult daughters are searching for a dentist near their homes who is even half as good as Dr. T.
He is honest and candid -- and not just out to maximize the amount he can get from your insurance, like my last dentist. I even love that they give me a new brush and floss when I leave. Dr. T is the best dentist around -- and worth the drive.

Scary when ur dentist looks at you and tells you there is absolutely nothing left that he can help you with when u have a toothache. I have never ever been to a dentist that would say that and not offer a specialist would could help. My Roomate goes here and recommended me to this place and I'm soo glad he did! Everyone was super nice, very friendly, I didn't have to wait and my dentist saved me from making a big mistake of getting veneers! He told me what I really should have done to my teeth and I'm definitely taking his recommendation into consideration! Very great place for dental work and cleanings! My cleaning was 89 and omg I felt soo great after getting it! Much needed! Definitely found my dentist! Go here people!

Dr. Steve (as my 6 and 8 year old call him) has the perfect blend of professionalism and quirky character. Both of my children were rather reticent about seeing the Dr., but his staff and his own demeanor really put them at ease. He was thrilled to let them touch and test the various tools he would be using on them, explained in great detail what was going to happen and had a very soft touch.
The staff is very friendly, efficient and professional. I visited him this morning and couldn't recommend him fast enough. If you need work in La Verne done, please go see Dr. Steve!
