BEWARE! This place tries their hardest to scam you out of your money! I haven't gone to a dentist for years and I decided to drop by the practice that was right around the corner from me. Can't be that bad right? Little did I know I was walking right into a scam! Everyone there was simply shady. Receptionists are unwelcoming and seem bored.

And of course the worst part is the dentist giving me unnecessary treatments and then they told me that my insurance doesn't cover enough and I will be paying 5k out of pocket. LOL what? Yes I needed a couple of fillings and a deep cleaning. But the dentist falsely said I had a root canal and I needed to get rid of my wisdom tooth ASAP. And then overcharging EVERYTHING.

The Bill came out to be in the thousands! I noped out of there SOO fast. They tried to pressure me on the spot signing papers and making me pay everything lol. Uh no. I can literally feel their disappointment when I walked away. Went to a different dentist and ended up only with a cavity and a deep cleaning. Not a bunch of other unnecessary things.

Oh and my insurance covered most of it. My out of pocket was nowhere near the 5k they were trying to scam me of. Avoid at all cost! Doubt they will stay in business for long with their shady practices. Hope they will be gone for good within 5 years so I don't have to tolerate the sight of them driving home!

Please do not waste your time or money coming here. The staff here are extremely unprofessional and rude. Especially the receptionist Gabriella. This place is extremely unclean and still looks the exact same as it did 10 years ago. I am unclear as to why the health board has not shut this business down.

Both Dr. Lee s were great. The staff are on it. Gabriella made it all possible for me. S.p dental is like going to that whole in a wall resturaunt and having the BEST meal you ever had. I highly recommend S.P DENTAL. Its a REAL DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH.

Went here Friday after calling a week ahead of time and explaining that I was in severe pain due to needing a root Canal. I spoke with Gabriella and the other receptionist and was told to come in at 8AM for an exam and then 9AM they would do my root Canal. When I got there the dentist said he don't think he'd have time to do it! Train your employees correctly, stop wasting people's time.

The office is clean! The customer Service is excellent! Meeting the needs and addressing the concerns of their patients shows that they love what they do! I am a person who has a great deal of anxiety when it comes to dental procedures or dentist in general they make sure you are completely comfortable. They are upfront with the prices of each recommended procedure so that there are no surprises.

Too expensive and a bad job and what you get for answer or is it normal (porcelain crown that changes color to black is normal? )

I usually hate going to the dentist. San Pablo dental makes me feel very comfortable. All the staff is very personable and friendly. Especially Maria in the front office. She doesn't treat you like just another patient. She talks to you like a friend.

My experience on 1/18/2020 was great/excellent. I love the way they keep time. Exactly seen as planned. Everyone is very friendly at San Pablo Dental. You feel you were expected and awaited for because the minute you get there, you are greeted and informed they will be with you in a few minutes. I have been attended by Jaime for many years and she is very thorough and careful. She does a great job. All in all I had a wonderful visit. Keep up the good work!. Thank you. Been coming to San Pablo Dental for about 4 years now. Everyone in the office is so nice and patient! We're not the easiest family to get to come to the dentist office, yet the staff never gives up and makes sure we get all our needs (for all four of us) met! We have same day family appointments, they definitely try their hardest to accommodate our busy schedules.

They know us by first name basis and treat us like they've known us forever! Feels like family! Definitely would recommend. Office is clean, staff is professional, service is excellent.

First dental appointment in 5 years (due to lack of insurance until now) and they made me feel right at home and in safe hands. Staff was friendly, doctor was good at explaining, and great to have help financially planning the work I need to have a healthier mouth while maximizing insurance. Will update review after my root canal and crown.

San Pablo Dental Care is the best dentist I've been to period. They actually care not only for oral hygiene, but for how their patients are feeling and doing before, during, and after. They followed up with me even when I missed several appointments. They're gentle and informative as well. They get an A+ from me and my husband all the time. I had the best experience that I have ever had with a dentist. I don't like going to the dentist. But, my recent experience has changed how I feel about getting dental work done. The husband wife dental team are awesome. The work that needed to be done was thoroughly explained. I was given options. She made me feel apart of the decision process. I set the next appointment and saw the husband.

He was amazing. We discussed everything. He gave me the options. Then, he let me know what would be the best one. The work he did was amazing. I felt very comfortable during the procedure. Everyone at San Paolo dental are very nice and caring. My husband and I are pleased with the service we received. I will be letting others know about the service.

Worst place ever! Don't spend a penny here. They have the worst customer service and they overcharge for everything. I came here and they not only wanted to take my insurance money but also needed me to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket. Dentist is rude, and dental hygienist is even more rude. I took my hard earned money to another dentist who didn't find half of the stuff wrong that they did here.

San Pablo Dental Care to me is the best dentistry I have known. Everybody there is extremely friendly, professional, and expresses great urgency. I have been with this company for years and do not plan on leaving, if anything I want my whole family to be apart of this company because of how welcoming they are. Jazmin an employee there, has the best customer service and great personality. I would recommend everybody to try their services!

I literally am very surprised at all the negative reviews about San Pablo Dental Care. I left my dentist in Berkeley due to the fact that simply getting to him was a nightmare. His office is right on University. I also wanted something close to home. That being said, I had extremely high expectations for a new dentist. I have never had an issue with SPDC, everyone is intelligent and caring and know what they are doing. It's sad that so many people had a negative experience but I am here to let you know that you can't always judge a business just by reading Yelp reviews. Some people are extremely unhappy with the littlest things. Judge for yourself people.

I've been a patient here for 3 years and have never been less than completely satisfied with the care. It's a very efficient friendly office, the staff, especially the hygienists are wonderful too to spend time with and make the cleanings a pleasure. The doctors care has always been exceptional. I am always very pleased with Jasmine who goes over and beyond. I recommend this group to anyone looking for dental care.

Just finished having my deep cleaning appointment and the experience was awesome. I had a 4pm appointment but was helped sooner (10min). As I walked with Nai Sypraseurt, she placed me into my room. She had a real good positive vibe and friendly approach, which in my book means things are going well. Later in those couple of min of signing some paper work, DR. Lance Porteaus came by to introduce himself to me.

The gentlemen was nice and funny like Nai. During my experience it was entertaining bc the Doctor was educating me in the tools he was using, it made things a lot easier bc it kept my focus away from what was happening. The cleaning went well, it was a fun (educational wise) and Nai and Dr Porteaus are pretty funny, they are good individuals. Pain wise: I was numb. Placing the anesthetic was painless ( small poke but it's normal bc it is a needle).

Time it took: took maybe an hour. Reasonable because you want the medicine to kick in. Then they ask you how it feels to assure you have a great experience. Cleanliness : Always important, GMP was followed. Thank you lads for assisting me!

I came here three times. Once to be evaluated and was told I need 2 fillings and a deep cleaning on each side. I let them know my back right tooth needed care & they said yes, it would receive a filling. I came in last week to get the filling and deep cleaning on the left side and the Dentist who should've attended to me had an emergency so some dental hygienist did my deep clean no dental work then today I go in to get the right side deep cleaned and do the 2 fills and am told that one is no longer needing a fill but is a root canal and that it can't be done today either?

They never know what they're doing here, they all walk around confused, they tell you you need a fill and then switch it to root canal and don't talk to each other so that the care is understood throughout the office. This place is terrible and I highly recommend you go elsewhere.

I am going to switch back to my other dentist. One my first visit, the dentist tried to get me to do a big procedure I didn't need. After trying to get me to apply for the Care Credit just so I could do it, I told him no. Then he said I need my old filings replaced and mind you I only went in for a cleaning, I went ahead and did it over $200 later.

The hygenist who cleaned my teeth was rude and very rough while cleaning my teeth. When I went in to my next cleaning, same thing and then the assistant said oh the doctor wants to talk to you and again was trying to get me to spend all my deductible plus 3500 out of my pocket or on that darn care credit. I don't like the feeling of being pressured into something I don't need or adding more debt. I take care of my teeth and they are perfect to me. Terrible experience.

My first experience has been a good one. I liked the environment, it looks beautiful the workers are nice, great customer service. The dentist that worked on my tooth he was quick and professional which definitely fits my needs so I was content with the place and his work.

I've had a wonderful experience here so far. Had a deep cleaning and an appointment with a hygienist who instructed me on how to properly brush and floss my teeth! I'd recommend them in a heart beat. No more overpriced than dental offices of their equal. Only problem I had was not knowing how to get inside the building for my 8:00 am Saturday morning appointment. Btw, no one gave me a Starbucks card for my review.

One of the biggest scam artist Dentist out here in Contra Costa. I hate this place so much they had done nothing but lie to me and take my money. Every time I went to get cleaning or other check up done, they would tend to find some problems like last time I went to go get cleaning done, they told me I have 3 cavities and I should consider taking the fillings done right away otherwise my teeth would fall out she had said.

Next week I went to the different dentist to get checked up at Pinole, they told my teeth were okay and they found no cavities what so ever. San Pablo Dental does nothing but lie and scare you to take more of your money. They are bunch of crooks, I hope all these ppl burn in hell for deceiving us hard working people. And The people that are giving them five stars, they are being bribed with $25 Starbucks gift cards.

They are actually telling patients to leave 5 stars on Yelp in return for $25 Starbucks card. This is just unbelievable what they will do to get more patients to come in with fake bogus reviews. I advise you all stay away from this dentist, and take your business to much trustworthy dentist elsewhere. Just hope this place gets shutdown soon, and I'm gonna pray that all that people that work there go to hell.

I have been going to San Pablo Dental for the past almost 5 years. They have taken care of cleanings and everything else from fillings to dental implants educating me along the way to keep my smile healthy. They have done all of this with the upmost professionalism, following up as needed. I am happy that I found Dr. Schwartz and his team when I moved to the East Bay. 5 stars.

Came here for a dental emergency. Unfortunately I can't pay with my medi-cal, but they have an amazing finance program. Was able to relieve my pain and get my problem fixed immediately while not having to stress about paying for it all up front. Also the staff is AMAZING. Very polite and friendly and considerate. I have nothing to complain about other than I'm terrified of the dentist which is why I only gave four stars instead of five lol.

UPDATE 12/6/16: Last week I received an email from Jackie Perez on 11/30/16 apologizing and for me to contact her ASAP. I emailed her back the following day and have yet to hear a response back. Not sure why she wanted me to contact her back but I appreciate the apology. -----

If it wasn't for Rita reaching out to me and making things right, I would have never come back. Rita is a savior and every business should have someone like her. After my first and second visit to San Pablo Dental Care, I was not a happy customer. Rita reached out to me and explained that the customer service I received was NOT the kind of business they want to run.

She apologized on behalf of the office and went above and beyond to make sure I am a happy client, and I am! For my 3rd visit (third time is a charm!), I saw Dr. Ganji to fix the broken filling. Dr. Ganji is one of the best dentist I've encountered. He is very thorough and made my experience very comfortable. Thank you Rita and Dr. Ganji for allowing me to have faith in the whole dental experience; as we all know, going to the dentist isn't something we look forward to.

I had an appointment today at San Pablo Dental with Dr. Radpour. I was seen almost immediately! The support staff was extremely courteous. Dr. Radpour's assistant, Catalina, was very thorough and clear as she explained my treatment plan for the day. She also explained all of the recommended treatment along with cost and payment options. There was no high pressure to get work done but rather a sensible and cost efficient approach to the recommended treatment plan.

She was very kind and understanding. I do not enjoy dental visits and unusually require nitrous just to get through my visit. Dr. Radpour assured me the quick treatment would be pain free and it was! I was in and out in very little time and he was very gentle. Catalina and Dr. Rad pour make an excellent team!

Wow, if you are someone like me; anxious about going to the dentist, worried about how much it'll cost and shy/intimidated by doctors. fear no more! i came here for a second opinion because my first dentist screwed up my bite from fillings he put in causing lots of jaw pain. i went back to my first dentist 4 times and in the end seemed like he was accusing me that it was my fault for causing the stress in my jaw and fitted me for a night gaurd. i called san pablo dental care and they immediatley set me up with an appointment with no problems. they are also open on saturdays! i came in, waited a while (only draw back) i think because they were gathering my insurance info. when it was my turn that was when my opinion of dentists took a turn. most of the people i encountered were women of color who were clearly there to greet you with a warm and comfortable presence. they gave me a FREE panagram xray to see what was goin on with my teeth! i had maxed out on my insurance and they were still able to figure out how i can utilize other benefits and ended up not paying anything for a full exam and bite adjustment. all of the workers there are really professional and doing this work for the right reasons to educate and inform people before making decisions. they have advanced equiptment. they have tiny cameras that they can put in your mouth to take a look at the problematic areas. they make you wear cool matrix glasses so no debris fly in your eyes. they just really take care of you and make you feel comfortable.

Lets face it, is there ever really a 5 star dental visit? Probably not. But I couldn't think of one solid reason to doc any stars from my experiences with this office. The front desk has several ladies who are all friendly and happy to help. Customer service: 5 stars. including Bea, who consults with you about the treatment plan and cost. You leave with a thorough understanding of what had to be done, which items to prioritize, why and the cost is broken down clearly. Bea also does what she can to make it affordable!

In our case she gets a 10 star for her magic with the cost! Dr. Chiina is quiet but friendly. She works quickly and thoroughly. Explains things well and has an overall calming spirit. Nai (sp?) is an awesome dental assistant! This team also gets a stellar 5+ stars! They continually checked my comfort level cause I have TMJ and my jaw gets tired easily, let me take as many potty breaks as needed during my 4 hour procedure and adjusted the nitrous higher and lower based on my comfort level.

As dentists go, this place is great! My only complaint, if I had to find one thing, is that the hygienist was not as gentle as I would like. In fact my hubby and i agreed her touch should be less heavy handed during thegum check. But other than that. Perfecto!

I called them with broken tooth they got me in that day! Very caring and really worked with me on what I could afford. My husband is a huge baby and he even likes the staff and how they approach the tasks. They are really care and you can not beat the hours. They help me understand treatments and how I can do more preventive care my self so I have healthy teeth!
