At Newmark Dental, your first appointment includes a thorough exam and gathering any information that our dentist must be aware of in order to provide care specifically to your oral health. Doctor Tran graduated from the University of Heidelberg, Germany in 1993 and is licensed to practice in Germany and California. Following post-graduate study at the Department of Anatomy, University of Heidelberg, Dr. Tran was granted the Ph. D degree for his doctoral thesis in 1997. Dr. Tran joined his father's practice in Detmold, Germany after graduation and then started to practice dentistry in California since 2000.
Our practice provides general dentistry procedures including the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide variety of conditions and diseases that affect your teeth and gums. DO NOT GO HERE if you want good work done on your teeth! I got my fillings replaced from silver to composite. Or so I thought. I paid for this service and it was done horribly by Tran Thang. I asked him why he left the silver, why wasn't it fully removed and he didn't provide an answer. He knew exactly what he was doing. He didn't even offer to correct his own work.
He still charged me for this horribly done service. I paid good money only to have to go somewhere else for the same service to be corrected. I feel robbed, don't do it to yourself. Below is a photo of 2 out 4 fillings he left silver, I was told he only drilled half way and tried covering it up with composite.

Best Dentist in town! Look no further I highly recommend you come check this place out first time here & Dr. Tran & the receptionist are super cool welcoming, friendly & very honest he cares about his work & takes his time to do it i got a cleaning done on the spot unlike other places that make you come back after consultation & im very happy with the results got a colgate smile now lol. & Also this place aint after your money like other places i went to trying to charge more than what u should. Dr. Tran is honest about exactly what u really need done & fair with his prices

Still would be 0 if i could. 3 months later and under the care of a new dentist office- i have had to have all teeth he filled within the last year that i was under his care RE FILLED! One of them, so badly done, they had to use metal fillings as "that us the only way to save the tooth without a root canal" but yet at Dr. Tran's office "nothing was wrong" I've had to file claims with my insurance company with his office from running up my insurance when he clearly was not doing sufficient work.
Not only unethical- but horrible work that when you go to a REAL dentist, you will be shocked that he has been numbing you and ruining your teeth almost beyond repair PLEASE DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR! Find a new dentist! Medical covers dental work now so there really is no reason to go to a dentist like this anymore, people. BEWARE!

I visit Southern California twice a year and always make a stop to see my dentist, Dr. Tran. He is a unique dentist these days because he truly takes the time to evaluate your oral health. From a few conversations with him, I can tell he is an ethical man beyond compare. Every quality you'd want in a dentist! With 20 years+ of experience, I highly recommend!

Been bringing the girls here since Arianna's first dental visit over 15 years ago. Couldn't ask for a better dental office. Of course the dental assistant at the beginning was awesome. Sometimes they get one in that needs to take a class in customer service. The dentist is hands on so you don't deal with the assistant so much so it works out. 10 stars for this dentist very pleased and grateful I found him 15 years ago.!

Dr. TRAN is the BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEST! I have been going to him for about 4 years. The equipment is new and clean. I had a problem with other dentist who allowed assistants to do some of the dental care on patients. Dr. Tran does your x-rays, your cleaning and all procedures on patients. His dental assistant only assists him. He is conveniently open on Saturdays and will try very hard to accommodate your schedule and budget if you do not have insurance. I have referred many people to him and all have continued to go to see him for their dental care.
