Dr. Parsi employees have been amazing to me Eileen has been doing my braces and I have been seeing awesome improvements on my teeth. She is amazing worker and so as all others. There's so kind and sweet they offer you snacks and beverages. I like the excellent service from the receptionist because they can understand your needs and help you right away. I can book an appointment with anyone I want to work on my braces. I'm looking forward for a happy and healthy big smile can't wait until I wear my metal retainers.

Amazing practice to have a great smile! Highly guaranteed for braces and future orthodontist for any family member. Would like to give a special thanks to the front staff. Always so professional and always greeting us with our names, that means a lot. Thank you to Jasmine in the back office. Great tech skills. Fantastic person, I'm happy she is working on me personally. This place is very affordable for the work they do. Happy I found this practice over a year ago.

Came in to restart my Invisalign after take a long break, but now determine to follow through. It's always great coming into this office. Everyone is so kind and supportive through the process. Jasmine put my attachments on and was so quick and gentle! I allotted at least an hour for my appointment but was done in 30 minutes thanks to her expertise!
I totally recommend LA Braces. Even through their changes, they have managed to maintain a great and supportive atmosphere with excellent customer service. They're definitely a popular place for braces.

Had braces in middle school, didn't wear my retainer. Found this orthodontist office via Google search, highly rated with a dense patient history. 27 years old, my plan was 1 year of Invisalign. Flexible appointments. My appointment experiences were efficient and the team was thorough in explaining the cost breakdown, in discussing my progress at each appointment, and no pain or discomfort at any point.
Friendly staff. Appointment reminder texts. Dr. Hyman retired I believe. I had Dr. Parsa for most of my appointments. Awesome. No complaints. -Free consultation -I didn't shop around for different quotes. -Treatment cost was X -Insurance covered 8% -I qualified for two discounts for 30% off the treatment cost. -Initial deposit of 8% -11 month payment plan, but paid off in 9 months by paying $30 more, per month. Overall for a one year investment, totally worth it. If you're looking for an orthodontist office, I 100% recommend this office.

What happened to Dr. Hyman? So sad to hear he is no longer here. But no worries, Dr. Parsa and his team will take good care of you. Even though sign outside says Hyman Orthodontist their new name is myLA Braces. It's been about 2 years since I've been here. Needed my bottom retainer replaced, it broke. $107 for each arch which is great compared to other places.
Everyone is super friendly. It was great seeing familiar faces. They took great care of me. Dr. Parsa took the time to talk to me and see how I and my teeth were doing. Very happy.

I've been a patient since 2020 and I recently finished my treatment with braces. Every step of the process was smooth. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. All my questions were always answered. I am very happy with my results and I definitely recommend them if you are looking for an orthodontist.

I'd been debating on straightening my teeth for years, and I finally got a referral from my dentist for a consultation. I brought my teenager in for a consult as well and got him set up on traditional braces. So I figured why not get braces for myself as well. Pandemic and mask wearing seemed like the opportune time to have braces anyway. The orthodontist Dr. Parsa said that Invisalign would work for my case, as I mainly have some crowding up top and am missing 2 teeth on the bottom so there is a gap in the front bottom 2 teeth.
I was told Invisalign won't correct my overbite, but that wasn't my main concern anyway. My plan is for about 2.5 years, and so far I've done about 4.5 months so far. The consultation is free and once the orthodontist takes a look at your teeth, they write up a plan with a quote and have you sit at a table to review and sign the paperwork.
Then they take scans and pictures of your teeth. For the Invisalign, they use a wand to take a digital scan of your teeth rather than make the molds like I've heard some offices do. They have a pay up front discount of 10% so that was an incentive as well for me to sign up both of us the same day. They did let me make a 50% deposit and pay the rest at the next visit, which was convenient.
It took about 2 weeks for my trays to be ready and they started me off with 2 "trial" trays to get me warmed up to the routine. At my follow up visit after a month, they put buttons, or attachments, on my teeth, which help the aligners grip to my teeth better. It was fairly painless and they put on about 20 of them. I definitely noticed how much tighter the aligners were after the aligners were put on.
I was a bit paranoid about them breaking off when chewing, but the orthodontist assured me they're very strong and shouldn't be an issue. I definitely recommend watching YouTube videos on how to remove aligners and care for them. I was so nervous about breaking them, and they feel really tight when you swap out to the new ones. I definitely recommend an ortho key or Outie tool to help remove the aligners, and keeping a travel bag of toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, mouthwash.
I change my trays every 2 weeks and was given one box of 15 trays and I am supposed to have a total of 35 trays. Office staff is friendly and they have a lot of people to help you. Their office is located on the corner of Beverly and Gerhart and they have a gated parking lot. Oh and this used to be called Hyman Orthodontics and now is LA Braces, as Dr. Hyman has retired.
I admit I had heard great things about Dr. Hyman (a friend also recommended him) and had wondered why he wasn't there for the consult, but I am confident I'm in good hands with Dr. Parsa as well.

If I could give this place zero reviews I would. Our country has been through a pandemic well over a year and even with losing my job I still struggled and paid them. This past April I contacted them to let them know I was going through a difficult time and could t make my payment. Mind you I'm paying out of pocket no insurance for ortho for myself and 2 kids.
They secured my account and sent my kids to collection. Why would they do that? When I called To discuss my account Amber would not come to the phone nor return my calls. I called everyday for a week. Finally speaking with Yeri I believe that's how it's spelled was informed by her that I need to pay the balance. No acceptable payment terms where offered.
They truly do not care about any hardships that the patients might be having. GO SOME WHERE ELSE. We're almost done with treatment and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I got my braces put on November 2016. I was told I would have them on for 2 to 2.5 years. November 2021 will be 5 years with my braces on. I have never missed an appointment besides the 2 1/2 months of the closure they had during the pandemic. Every time I ask (which is at every appointment) how much longer do I have they say "by the end of year".
I paid my treatment off almost 3 years ago & I feel that my treatment has gone down the drain since they have no money coming in from me. I moved out of CA in 2020 and have been flying out to every appointment from NV. It's starting to be very overwhelming because there's no changes or progress with these braces. Another thing they are the worst at telling me what I need to do.
For example I had baby teeth and was told I would need them to get extracted once the time was right. At one of appointment the Orthodontist tells me "how come you haven't got your tooth extracted" mind you I WAS NEVER told to do so. So I quickly get an appointment with my dentist & get the procedure done. This has happened twice. I've been walking around with missing teeth for a few years now with no clue of what the heck they are doing. I am so upset. I don't want to be THAT type of customer but I feel like I have no choice!

Hyman orthodontic office claims they do not have a copy of my contract which indicates my patient payment agreement. I started a treatment on 7/22/20 for a "sure smile" the overall cost of treatment was $2050. However, since I received a "VIP patient" discount of $1,200. The final cost is $850. My insurance was pending, so there was an estimate that I would pay $550 and my insurance the remaining $300.
I made 3 payments: the first payment was on 7/24/2020 for $250, 2nd payment 08/15/2020 for $250 and 3rd payment on 9/15/20 of $50. At this point I paid my responsibility and waited for the insurance to pay $300. The insurance made the following payments: 10/30/20 $7, 11/08/20 $194.50, 12/10/20 $358.50, and 03/08/2021 $337.50 the total my insurance has paid is $897.50.
My contract is for $850. Therefore, their billing department has received more than what my contract states. My payments of $550 + 897.50 (insurance) = $1447.75. However, I have received one refund of $250 on 04/08/2021. I am entitled to received the full amount of $550, since my insurance has cover everything. However, when I called the orthodontic office they stated they cannot refund my money because they need a copy of my contract.
I highlighted that they should have a copy of the contract they gave me. They said that without the contract they cannot refund me because they cannot see that my contract amount was for the amount I am stating of $850. I do have a copy of my contract, but think this is unfair because what happens when another client does not have a copy? they just keep the money and blame it on customer?
This is very disappointed, even when I explained I had the invoices of the insurance payments and the record of my payments made with my credit card. Until today I haven't heard anything back, no calls or emails nothing. After I emailed the contract. This is so ridiculous.

I've been coming to Hyman's for a little bit over a year (I'm halfway through my braces) and I've received awesome service every time. Front desk staff is very friendly and always answers any questions I have and are always willing to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment if needed (for any broken bracket, long wire, etc.) Dental staff is also awesome, they always walk me through whatever is going on & do a quick and efficient job with my braces. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hyman's office to anyone that is looking for a place with impeccable customer service!

Best ortho in Montebello! Have had my upper teeth done here and was best investment. For some reason I always misplace my retainers, the replacement process is easy as well just need to schedule an appointment and pay for new retainers. The staff is friendly as well, very professional. Highly recommended orthodontics.

This is the second time I've come and had an appointment at 9, and they don't call me in until close to 11! 11?! Why make so many appointments and not be able to get to them. I wish you would have just made my appointment at 11 so 2 hours weren't wasted. I was told this would be a quick and easy appointment. 2 hours waiting in my car you guys. come on

I've known about this doctor and practice for the past 15 years. Working in a general dentist, I referred hundreds and hundreds of our patients for ortho consults to Dr Hyman. I've seen almost all progress reports of the thousands of cases they've worked on. Amazing work! Finally, I got to experience the whole care by becoming a patient of Dr Hyman myself.
A few days ago was my second visit in his office, I love the staff and doctor. They all are very gentle and friendly, I being super sensitive with my teeth due to whitening and other reasons. They truly were patient With me. I'm very thankful that they are otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to get my braces put on. Today is day four with my braces, and I'm very excited to see changes in my teeth!

I went in for a consultation with Dr. Hyman earlier this week. The staff was super friendly and very inviting. I was taken care of in a very timely matter and even faster when I explained I had my infant with my teenager. I thought that was very thoughtful of the staff. I can not wait to start treatment. Their office is very clean and tidy. I had seen another office before hand for a consultation and they were charging me quoting double. Dr Hyman's office informed me the more procedures they do the more discount they can give. I'm so glad I came in. I will be getting same treatment with a more experience ortho for a better price!

First appointment back due to the Covid-19 closure. Hyman Orthodontics is following Strict CDC guidelines and checking temperatures prior to checking in therefore, no need to fear or feel anxiety. *Note: Individuals are asked to wait outside, and wait to be called due to the safety of staff and its guest." I was greeted by Yari and Mari who have always been sweet, honest, and PROFESSIONAL! Ernest went ahead and took X-Rays to assure my treatment is up to date. Dr. Hyman took care of certain practices to assure CDC guidelines are being met.
I had filing done on my teeth to get rid of "black triangles. My visit was approx 1 hour and 20 minutes. Mari went ahead and scheduled my next appt. Was greeted on the way out by Amber, Manny and Yari. 5/5 Experience today. [NOTICE: No cookies, No Water Bottles, or Chapstick being offered during COVID-19] Refer someone to win a TV. AYY!

Not to long ago I wrote a review on how I loved my experience with this office. So of course my son was going to get his braces here too. Typical kid excited about getting his braces on. Sad to say his experience has been totally different from mine. Getting his braces on has been a nightmare. We knew he had to get 4 teeth pulled out, so I thought we would get it done first, and then get the braces on right? No, the dentist's procedure was to put on the brackets then pull out the teeth and then put on the wires.
So on January 22, 2020 we went to put on his (brackets). The following week was his appointment for the teeth to come out. He still needed to recover and then finish with the braces. On February 13 was his appointment to finish. January 22 the day they started all of his brackets came off on his bottom teeth. I called to let them know what happened and they informed me at it was ok because he didn't have the wire on.
Ok so what was the point of putting them on? Saturday February 8 his front bracket came off. I was not about to let me son go to school looking like that so I called in and the dentist wasn't going to be in till Tuesday so Tuesday morning before school I took him to finish his procedure. I let the dentist know that the way they started was inconvenient.
He didnt seem to care much. Yesterday February 11 they finished putting them on. He called me after school letting me know a bracket came off. I called the office and they told me to have them come in before 4. I couldn't leave work so my mother took him in. I get a call from my son who is still at the dentist and is letting me know that it was okay for the bracket to come off.
That there was never supposed to be a bracket on that tooth. Which was never explained to me. So here I am going back and forth. This morning another bracket came off. I am just so tired of having him go through this.

We had an awesome experience with Hyman Orthodontics. My daughter and I are blessed to have had Carla assist us through the process. She explained ever step of the way and answered every question we had. Carla was professional, sweet, kind and always treated my daughter like her own. Twenty-three months in the making and Miranda is so happy and excited to smile just to show her teeth. Thank you Dr. Hyman. You have an awesome team.
