Both our kids were patients of Dr McElroy and we seriously couldn't be happier! Always very timely with appointments, super friendly and fun environment. Dr McElroy is one in a million and our kids teeth look amazing! Can't recommend him enough!

Dr. McElroy was highly recommended to us through our regular dentist. We've had great experiences working with him over the years with our kids. Dr. McElroy has a lot of experience and knowledge of orthodontics. He explains things in a way that is very easy to understand. He has a great way of interacting with kids and making our appointments fun. Going to the orthodontist here is fun.

We love Dr. Mac! He is very knowledgeable but also practical and realistic in his approach. Everyone in his office is incredibly kind while also being professional. They go out of their way to make patients/families feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I have been going here for my braces since middle school and I am now in 11th grade. I normally strongly dislike going to the dentist or orthodontist but ever since I started going to Dr. McElroy I don't mind it at all. The spider man theme of the office makes it feel more kid friendly and calms nerves for younger kids. Also everyone who helps out Dr. McElroy is extremely nice. Overall I think 5 stars is the best way to describe this experience

Having orthodontics as an adult isn't ideal but Dr. McElroy has made the experience go by so smoothly! He's honest, such a fun guy, and the staff is awesome! His Spider-Man themed office is a plus as well. If you're going to have orthodontics you might as well have fun looking at the stuff around you while you're there!

Doctor McElroy and his staff are world-class! They are extremely personable and make you feel cared for. They were even quick to mail me rubber bands when I had lost a pack and couldn't make it back to their office. Doctor McElroy is probably the most fun orthodontist you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. He always makes sure to explain exactly what is happening with the orthodontia that you'll be wearing.

And of course it would be a crime to not mention his love of all things Marvel. Be warned that you may not leave on time if you engage with him in a conversation about that topic. My regular checkups are never dull with this office. Highly recommend!

Both my kids go to Dr. McElroy and he has been fantastic. He provides excellent treatment and makes his patients feel at ease with his warm personality. His entire office staff is wonderful too.

I've had braces for around 2+ years now and I've never had a bad experience. All the staff are so kind and so considerate and they make sure you're not feeling any pain or discomfort unless its part of the process for braces. Dr. McElroy is honestly such a character and I love his mood. He's very happy and laughs a lot and the atmosphere is just so good. The environment is also very clean and the bathroom is very nice. I would highly recommend coming here if you or your kids need an orthodontist.

Dr. McElroy is simply the best. He was able to provide amazing ortho treatment for my daughter with minimal discomfort. His staff is respectful, courteous, and always willing to help. Scheduling is easy and convenient. There are no hidden costs, they tell you everything you need to know about the treatment upfront. Love them, and highly recommend them.

All three of my children and myself have been patients of Dr. McElroy over the last 8 years. He and the entire staff are wonderful! His treatment plans are thoughtful and thorough. He has been tenacious with one of my children's more challenging orthodontic issues. Could not recommend his practice more!

Dr. McElroy is organized, personable, and energetic. His office is clearly run very well, and the support staff are incredibly helpful. Today I took my son for an early ortho consult. My son has some dental phobias, so when I heard orthodontia may be needed I knew exactly who to call. Well we saw McElroy today and let me say he did not disappoint! Not only was his treatment plan conservative and thoughtful but his positive and kind demeanor put my son totally at ease. Braces came off today after a year with Dr. McElroy. He was easy to work with, stuck to the treatment plan and there were no hidden costs. Stephanie was always welcoming to our family and didn't give us a hard time when we had to change appointments. I'd recommend this practice.

I've had two of my kids get their braces with Dr McElroy. We couldn't be happier! We initially met him when I was referred years ago because our current dentist wanted to pull one of my son's baby teeth. Dr McElroy examined him and said come back next year and we'll check them again. His teeth look great today! We loved working with everyone in the office.

Dr McElroy and his staff are amazing! Besides all the great work they did for my daughter, they dealt with me as well. My daughter was able to finish up her treatment early even with the last minute correction request I asked for. We will miss our visits and the team.

Dr. McElroy and staff are the best in the Bay! Doc has a magical touch with the kids, making them feel welcomed and at ease in an often uncomfortable environment. He and his amazing staff have been superb all these years with my son who's on the spectrum, taking all the stress away from the early evaluation years when he was younger to finally getting braces a couple of years ago. Dr. McElroy is highly recommended if you or your child needs orthodontic work done. As an added bonus, Dr. McElroy is the biggest Spider-Man fan I've ever seen - his office is decked out with his insane collection of memorabilia. Definitely a must-see :-

In this COVID era, they kept everything extra squeaky-clean -- it felt safe and secure. Dr. Mac and his team are amazing! I was referred by my sisters, actually! They both were patients of Dr. Mac and they were very satisfied with his work. Since my children were now grown and done with braces I decided it was time to fix my teeth. I immediately thought to call Dr. Mac. He treated 2 of my children with beautiful results. Being a mature, professional women I didn't want to go with traditional braces. Dr. McElroy discussed what type of results I would expect to have with Invisalign since I had a severe overbite, genetically missing 2 teeth. He worked with more than the expected time frame never charging anything extra. I love my teeth. I would ALWAYS recommend Dr. Mac and his staff they are terrific.

I am a mom of 2 boys that have had braces. The 2nd one has special needs. The first son had a different Ortho in Southern California. I HIGHLY recommend Dr McElroy. He is professional, fun, patient and realistic. Especially when it came to the treatment for my special needs son. We will miss him now that he is done as of today! He really likes Spider-Man so don't be caught off guard with his office decor.

My daughter has been a patient for over a year, and we have been very pleased with the service. Every part of the process has been efficient, and my daughter has a great experience each time. Her teeth are looking beautiful too!

The Dr is a nice guy and well trained. However our daughter sustained a fractured jaw shortly after having her braces off. She now needs to have braces put back on. The Dr in our opinion poorly worded a letter needed for the insurance company to explain the injury. We asked for it to be updated and the response back was surprisingly unresponsive. My daughter broke her jaw.within weeks of getting her braces off. Sorry I sent my 3 kids to him now.

I'm in my 40's. Got braces on recommendation from my dentist to straighten my teeth and fix bite. The process took a little over a year. There was a small gap in one area and Dr. McElroy worked for another year to fix that issue. The office appointments are quick and efficient. No waiting. Excellent staff. He's had all the same support staff & technicians since I started seeing him in October 2014. I would highly recommend him. Plus he has a huge collection of Spider Man memorabilia in his office.

We love this office! Dr Mc Elroy is a fantastic dentist, warm and great with kids. The entire staff is superb and I recommend them highly.

After writing reviews on Yelp for 7 years, I would like to say Dr. McElroy's office was the best office I have seen because it was decorated with "Spider Man" memorabilia. When is the last time you have heard someone say "I liked the dentist office!" Dr. McElroy was very knowledgeable and considerate.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews but I didn't really have a good experience with Dr. McElroy. I think if I were a 7 year old boy it would have been great. But I am a 30-something woman. I went in for a consultation a few months ago. I need braces to fix my bite due to TMJ. The overwhelming spiderman stuff everywhere was one thing. (and I mean EVERYWHERE!) But his personality was also a bit overwhelming.

Another yelper mentioned that he seems like he's had too much coffee. I'd describe him as a bit of a spaz that constantly uses kids catch phrases. Again, this would probably be great if I were a kid. He quoted me a price that was $2000 more than my second opinion I ended up getting. Plus he told me I had to have full braces for at least a year an a half and that invisiline wasn't an option. I'm thankful I got a second opinion because I ended up with invisiline for only 9 months and my teeth are bite are looking great.

Perhaps I am a specific case but if you have any sort of special bite issues that needs fixed I wouldn't recommend him. But if you have a child that likes spiderman and just needs their teeth straightened I'm sure he'd be fine.
