Although all dentists, including your family dentist, receive training in dental school in endodontic (root canal) treatment, a patient may be referred to an endodontic (root canal) specialist. Endodontists are dentists that have received at least an additional two years of advanced specialty training in the art of Endodontics, commonly known as "Root Canal".
This technology enables us to take radiographs with about 80% less radiation when compared with traditional methods. With it's integrated fiber optic light source, the surgical operating microscope allows for improved visualization which in turn enables us to treat and diagnose the situation better for you.
Our office team receives annual OSHA updates and training. We adhere to the strictest levels of infection control to protect you. Each team member has acquired the Dental Assisting National Board certification in both Infection Control and Radiation Health and Safety. As members of the American Dental Assisting Association, updated coursework is completed annually.
When the pulp tissue inside the root canal space becomes infected, endodontic therapy can help you preserve your tooth. The pulp tissue resides within the root canal space. The infection comes from the presence of deep decay or a fracture. The pulp's function is tooth development. Once the adult tooth has come out into our mouth the pulp serves less of a function.
Most teeth that have had root canal treatment last as long as natural teeth. Sometimes, as occasionally this can happen with any medical or dental procedure your tooth may not be healing or responding to the intial therapy. An endodontist can make a revision to your root canal. This revision can often lead to a better outcome.

I just spoke with this place(12/10/21 9:09AM) and decided to write a review so people do not get scammed. Got a referral for this place from my dentist last week, just called in to make an appointment and they tried to charge me $175 upfront for a consultation, which they said they will bill my insurance carrier and issue a refund check. The reason for this: apparently many of the patients have use their benefits by the end of the year so they do this to make sure they can get paid. However, my coverage started December 1, 2021.

They still demanded that I pay the $175 upfront. They would not bill my insurance carrier directly. This is a racket operation. I've never been to a dentist or endodontist that made me pay a consultation fee upfront when I had insurance. They will try to get you from the very beginning. I will have to look into the legalities of what they are doing. Avoid this place at ALL costs.

Highly recommend Dr. Wong and her staffs! I had a difficult issue to finish my root canal with general dentist. I'm so glad that I met Dr. Wong. She is very professional endodontist I ever met. I was so impressed with her clinical skills, plain less experience and very gentle!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Irene Wong. I had severe pain in my teeth & gums and she saw me immediately even though I wasn't a patient. She did an emergency root canal - Dr. Wong talked me through the process every step of the way. She was so kind and helpful. I wish every dr. appt was this experience!
