Stein Dental Group - John Rallo

The Stein Dental Group has taken good care of me since I have started coming here last year. I do not have dental insurance and they offer payment plans to ensure you can get the work you need done. Had the pleasure of dealing with Tiffany today and Dr. Stein and previously Dr. Price and they absolutely made me feel comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Sincerely, Sandra Noriega

I always have a welcoming and nonjudgmental experience at Stein Dental. Dr. C. has always made me feel heard and has catered to my unexpected adult fear of the dentist in a dignified way. I appreciate her calm and friendly personality. I have really had great experiences with so many kind and empathetic people in the office as well including Joanne, Ashley, Kathy and the sweetest dental assistant I had yesterday to name a few.

In addition, I am very thankful for their service, safety precautions and fair rates. Added bonus is they are family friendly, make my kids feel comfortable and always make time to get me in for an emergency. Stein Dental is a win!

Wow! Most pleasant dental experience I've ever had! The receptionist set the tone right away by being very kind and cheerful, and then the dental hygienist did an incredible job making me feel at ease (I had been DREADING this!) and was communicative, patient, and gentle. Finally, Dr. Stein came in and in addition to being very friendly and funny, he communicated his recommendations in a way that was easy to understand and not intimidating. I would recommend to anybody, but especially those with dental anxiety

So far so good. I have been there a few times. The staff is polite and courteous. The dentist make you feel comfortable. The wait before my appointment is never too long. Maybe 15 minutes late.

From the moment I called the office asking to be seen for an emergency, to the second I walked out the door, service was incredible. The staff was extremely patient and caring with my care. I was traumatized as a child with dental work and suffer from anxiety around the thought of having to go in to see a dentist. Reception was very kind to fit me in on Saturday knowing it was a busy day at the clinic.

I was notified I would need to wait, but Dr. Stein would see me as quickly as he could. After the initial "consult", instead of having me wait around all day, they found a time in the schedule that worked. I returned a few hours later and Dr. Stein went to work. He was compassionate and helped calm my nerves (with the help of nitrous oxide) with conversation and continued to ask how I was doing throughout the procedure.

He explained next steps and made sure I knew it was okay to call the office should something change before my next appointment. He was kind enough to call me that evening to check in to see how I was doing. I have nothing negative to say about the clinic or staff. I am grateful for the care I received and would be happy to recommend anyone.

I loved Stein Dental Group. I was able to obtain a quick appointment. The staff was professional and competent. Dr Stein discussed options with me and we came up with a plan. He was patient to listen to my concerns. I feel he is someone who will work with me for my best interest. Thank you Dr Stein.

Dr. Stein is a fantastic dentist and a wonderful person. My wife and I have been a client of his for 20 years, and began taking all three of our children to him as they came of age. His team has always been top notch, and his service the best quality. Even after moving from Stanford to NYC, we continued to visit Dr. Stein for all of our checkups and procedures.

Stein Dental Group makes going to the dentist a good experience. They are very compassionate and caring. Also easy on the teeth and gums - not rough at all! They seem honest and don't push services you don't need.

I'm so lucky that I found the Stein Dental Group when I did. I think it's Eighteen years ago? I don't know what I would do without Dr C, she's my hero! Once again she saved me a tooth. So grateful she was welling to try and it worked. Thank you again Dr C your the Best!

I had a wonderful experience for my first time visit. Such a fun atmosphere too! The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable & did an awesome job, especially the front desk & hygienist. Dr. Stein gave me the information I needed with great choices to make my own informed decision on what work I may choose to have done or not. I never got the feeling that I was being told to do something that I really didn't need, nor felt pressured at all!

I called Dr Stein's office to inquire if he took United Health Insurance. I was assured that he did and that my cleaning would be fully covered additionally I was told that there would no other charges not covered by insurance. However, a week later I received a bill for $184. The cleaning was very superficial, The technician hardly touched the upper teeth. There has been no reply to me email.

I would never recommend this dental service to my worst enemy. They've screwed over me and my family a handful of times. They also have sent bills for my dental work to my brother and vice versa. They are not organized here. They do minimal work and charge out the ass. The work they do doesn't even hold up.

Had some work done at Stein Dental Group and the Dentist I had was Dr. Jacob Alleab, On one visit he is working in my mouth and he says to his assistant "Who the hell sanitizes this equipment" I'm hopeful that he meant that the equipment was very clean / sterilized but when I asked what he meant he would not answer me. On the next visit The Doctors female assistant was in the examination room and when she left the room Dr. Jacob Alleab says to me "Fucking woman, I have to deal with them all fucking day in this place" I still can't believe he said that, how stupid can you be to think that but to actually say it to a patient is incomprehensible and very sad in the year 2021.

ROUTINE CLEANING Pros: really quick scheduling, easy to find and access, Halloween candy, festive diner-like atmosphere, very busy. Cons: -Covid: Very busy, easily accessible (located across the street from a very busy bus stop) - Stein Dental Group gets business by offering groupons and being easily accessible to people without private transportation. -Cleaning procedure: poorly trained hygienist, insufficient equipment: no suction tube, no detachable receptacle for spitting, no rinsing/one giant spit into a vacuum at the end.

Great experience. Friendly service. They worked with me during these hard times. I high recommended them for a beautiful office and highly skilled professionals working on your teeth.

Painless root canal safely in the middle of a pandemic! OMG I was in such pain and suffering with a tooth that clearly needed a lot of help. My whole jaw hurt. Dr Steve Wechsler took very good care of me today. I was dreading going to a dentist given the Covid-19 scenario we are all living with. The office took great precautions and made me feel safe. Dr. Wechsler is a great guy who made me feel comfortable and took the time to numb me properly.

The root canal was done, the numbing has worn off and I am as close to pain free as I've been in months already. If you're dreading going to the dentist or just fear everything about the experience don't wait. This office is great for people like us.

I made an appointment during my visit to the Northeast. As a dental chicken, I must say that they have cured my fear of visiting the dentist. A very positive experience from the x-rays to the cleaning to the work that needed to be done. I definitely recommend the Stein Dental Group.

Stay away! Dr. Stein cost me thousands of dollars on very questionable dental procedures.

One of Dr. Stein's Dentists gave me a filling for a cavity. Two months later, I made an appointment because it felt like there was a popcorn kernel stuck in my tooth. Dr. Stein looked himself, said there was nothing wrong and gave me a mirror to see for myself. I asked him to check again because it was uncomfortable. He then realized the tooth was broken and had to be replaced, due to the oversized filling from just two months before. Dr. Stein admitted it was the office's fault, but had us pay in full for their mistake. Would never recommend.

They caused more work than they fixed. Cleanings were always good. Just had to have root canal, crown and gum lengthening procedure all redone after they were originally done here. Instead of fixing an infection in my gum they continued on with a root canal in neighboring tooth. Won't be returning. Never got a call back from Dr. Stein to discuss why I wasn't returning. The two dentists I have visited since to correct issues cannot believe the condition my temporary crown was left in.

Doctor Stein personally called on his vacation to discuss our treatment. We totally appreciate his concern for our care. We have been patients with the Stein dental Group for the past 2 years and will continue to be his patients. The Dentist in his group are pleasant to see and talk with. I hope that people who saw the first review read this review as well and not stop them from using their services.

Went to Stein Dental for the first time today for a cleaning. I've procrastinated on seeing the dentist because I've had bad experiences in the past. Tiffany (dental hygienist) was great - very patient and gentle. So far I'm very pleased. My husband and two kids (young - 2 & 3) have appointments next week. I'll update my review later with their experiences.

The Cleaning was thorough. The dental hygienist is a professional. The exam pointed out the exposures and how they were going to be approached. Informative. Involves the patient in t he process.

I have been going to the Stein Dental group since I was 4 years old! 23 years later and they still can't be duplicated. Tiffany does my cleanings and I absolutely always have a pleasant experience with her at Dr. steins! She makes your cleanings comfortable and always shares good products or routines you can try according to what you may need more or less of. Dr. C too has been my tooth guru for the past 6 years and I can't recommend anyone else!

No matter what city or state I live in, I will forever travel back home to dr. Steins! Professional, knowledgeable, personable and always doing what's best for your teeth! Highly recommended.

Made a booking for a teeth cleaning on my Christmas break. The day before the appointment, I received a text stating that they were closing early for the holidays. I'm not really interested in dragging them under the bus, but to book an appointment and then cancel, telling the customer you need to reschedule, and then only having availability at 9 30 am is terrible. I've never had a place of business take a reservation and confirm it, just to decide they are closing earlier than planned. No, I cannot come at 9 30 am, thats why the original appointment was booked and confirmed for the 24th at 12:15pm, ON THE 21ST. Don't bother with holiday bookings.

I, my wife and my children have been very satisfied patients at the Stein Dental Group for many years. This is a very well run dental practice, with very considerate staff, who take excellent care of their patients. They really tried hard to make sure that I was comfortable and pain minimized for every procedure I've had. We have always found the office responsive to our scheduling needs, even for the very rare weekend urgent visit.

The staff are easy to deal with. One of the great advantages of this practice is that all of my dental requirements are met and well coordinated under one roof, with specialists covering all my needs. We have had excellent experiences with orthodontics, periodontics, implants, cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry, root canals, and routine cleanings. I strongly recommend Dr. Stein and his team.

I had some fillings done here years ago by Dr. Stein that I still have some pain with. His staff and hygienists were always very nice to work with, but I did not appreciate the way Dr. Stein addressed many of them - quite rude and condescending, and made me uncomfortable.

Dr Stein and his staff are amazing! Moved to the Stamford area about 2 years ago and have been to 2 dentist who were shady and had questionable billing practices. Have nothing but great things to say about Stein Dental. If you have little ones (or a kid at heart) they have 2 arcades to keep busy, not to mention, they are know for accommodating scaredy-cats. Truly a hidden gem.
