Today's Dentistry - Julio Maya

Hands down the best staff from the front desk receptionist to the dentist. Very professional and friendly staff. Very attentive to all my dental needs and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Awful experience. Just wanted to get my teeth cleaned but spent 40 minutes being pressured to get an unnecessary deep cleaning. Felt like I was at a Timeshare presentation. Walked out without getting teeth cleaned, found a new dentist and was informed my gums were perfectly fine.

This is the first dentist I've gone to in 11 years, since I was a teenager, due to anxiety. Dr. Jamil and her staff is excellent. I've had a couple appointments with them in the past two months and they exceed all expectations every time I go. If I remembered everybody's name I would give them a shout out but sadly I do not. Shannon, Paola, and Samira are amazing as well as the rest of the staff.

I've always been absolutely terrified of the dentist. To the point where I neglected regular checkups. Dr. Jamil is the kindest and most caring dentist I've ever had. She made what was once a terrifying experience, now one I actually look forward to! Not only is she amazing but her staff are equally great. Paola is so accommodating and to be honest, an angel descended and decided to work as an office manager; her name: Shannon. Amazing staff, service, and attention.

I have been going to Today's Dentistry under Dr. Maya's care for 10 years so I was very sad when he retired. I feels since his leaving, Today's Dentistry has gone down hill. The staff is not as friendly and the office itself feels more like a large, impersonal clinic versus a friendly neighborhood dentist as it used to. The front desk staff used to be much more friendly than they were and used to listen to you. Now I feel like they look for things to to do to charge you extra. I am now searching for a new dentist.

I had a great experience both times that I've come here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They found a way to accept my Dental Savings Card. The cleaning I had was great and my 2nd visit to fix some cavities was fast and very efficient. I highly recommend Today's Dentistry!

I went to this dentist office to do my annual check up and they found that I need a filling. A new dentist Dr. Jamil fixed my tooth but after 5 days I felt a lot of pain and I went back to the dentist office. She looked at my tooth and told me that she can pull out my tooth or do a root canal. Obviously I said no I don't want to have my tooth removed. Since, she is a not an Endodontics.

I went to an Endodontics to do my root canal and he told me that the tooth that Dr. Jamil wanted to fix was not the tooth that was causing the pain and needed the root canal. Dr. Jamil wanted to do a root canal in the wrong tooth. This situation is really bad because if I didn't go to the Endodontics office, I would have two root canals and obviously this is very expensive and painful. My dental health was in risk. Be careful when you get treatment from this dentist.

Just had a deep cleaning with Leah. She's the best hygienist I've ever had. Perfect technique and very caring and attentive to how I was feeling during the process. Everyone in this office is very amiable, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I'm very happy withToday's Dentistry as my new dentist!

First impressions are everything and Today's Dentistry made today an excellent first visit. They were consistently the best dentist office I've ever had to go to. I can not recommend them enough. I wish I didn't have to move because they are the absolute best! If you have to go to the dentist ( and you do) go here! Great team! Great Dentist!

My experience this morning at Today's Dentistry was truly wonderful! Dr. Kara Ford and her office staff were amazing! l felt welcomed and relaxed. Everyone I encountered in the office was extremely kind and helpful. If you are looking for a talented, honest, friendly, and compassionate dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Kara Ford. I am currently a patient, I have been coming here for approximately 2 years. All the staff members are so nice. From the girls at the front desk, (who happen to be friendly, warm and helpful) to the medical assistants, and the hygienists. Dr. Maya is a great doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I have had a significant amount of work done on my teeth, and thus far, I have not experienced discomfort or pain during exams and/or procedures.

This was my first visit at this office and my daughter's first dentist appointment. Lana at the front desk greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in! Meeting Dr Ford was a pleasure! She is very invested in her work and our well-being! As a patient, I can say I TRULY appreciate her so much! Karen was (such a Joy), quick and efficient at getting pictures of my teeth! Casey did a wonderful job cleaning my daughter's teeth and making her comfortable!

I wish I got the name of my hygienist.she was amazing too! She did a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth! At the end of our visit my daughter was saying she "can't wait to come back"! Thank you for a great experience and see you soon! -Lauren & Lily

This place amazing! The staff is really friendly and they make you feel welcome. I had an extraction done and it was completely painless. I hadn't been to a dentist in a long time and they never made me feel bad about it. I plan on going back for my routine care. Dr. Ford was awesome!

Dr. Maya recommended I spend $15,000 on veneers to "improve [my] appearance." He then laughed, scoffed, and rolled his eyes when I refused and said that I liked my teeth. He also made disrespectful comments about my previous dentist. He is very arrogant. The other staff members are great though. Nonetheless, I would avoid this place and go to a more professional dentist.

I was a new patient to Dr. Ford and I really enjoyed my experience at this dentist office. I appreciated how thorough she was and her suggestions for how I could improve my care and smile. The staff was amazing and I look forward to switching my whole family over to this practice.

In Search of Quality Dental Care. We moved to Temple Terrace last March from Napa, Ca., and dreaded searching for doctors and dentists. having said that, after some internet search/review we found that Today's Dentistry appeared to be one of integrity and professionalism. We made an appointment and was very impressed with the office, staff, and the professional manner in which our care was addressed.

We returned today for a cleaning and once again was impressed with the personal care provided by Margarita, dental hygienist. And, not to forget the administrative staff who provided us with financial information as well as local shopping recommendations. We were provided with the cost accounting of both the care provided as well as cost for recommended future care.

As a side note, the cost appeared to be in line with several other offices. I have a followup appointment for a crown next week and look forward to continued quality care from Dr. Maya and his staff. Oh, and I was not offered any compensation for this review.

The best dentist I have ever been too. I highly recommend anyone to visit this dentist. I have always felt pain when visiting any dentist, and now I'm actually looking forward to my next visit. I had my teeth cleaned and plaque removed by Margarita and she did a phenomenal job. Very friendly and very helpful staff. Was not over priced, looked over and shopped around more than 10 officers in Tampa, and they had the most reasonable prices. The Dentist Julio was very helpful, nice, knowledgeable and explained every detail about my teeth. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here
