Man O' Man. Let me tell you! Ms. Rita, dental hygienist @ Family Dental Associates. She took good care of me. Took her time during my dental scaling & irrigation. Made "love" to my mouth if you ask me lol. If they were giving out awards for best dental hygienist. She would definitely get my vote!

I've been to many dentist offices in my life but this one has made me feel like family! They are very communicative and on top of they job telling you Bout it is an understatement you gotta go and see for yourselves from the women in the front to all the diffrent types of dentist in the back they all have great hospitatlity and are very gentle.

Roberta is the best Registered Dental Hygienist! She is always friendly and thorough. She is extremely passionate about providing quality service and taking care of my mouth. Roberta is truly an asset to Family Dental; I can guarantee you would be delighted to have her provide you with her stellar service. Wish I could give her 10 stars.

This is a great facility I have been coming here since 2014. When I moved, i wanted a dental facility closer to home so I went to Coral Springs Dental Center for a dental cleaning one time but they did such a terrible job that I am back at family dental associates, the drive is worth it. Everyone in this office is pleasant from the front office staff, the dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists. Tara, the hygienist, is the best and I can't wait to go back for a cleaning :

I ignored a nagging tooth issue until it wouldn't be ignored. Didn't have a current dentist, but called Family Dental because my son had his braces done there. They fit me right in and handled a difficult case professionally and with great caring and kindness. Will never look for another dentist. So happy with Dr. Gittess and staff.

Dr. Mingle. Is the biggest line dentist in Margate lying dishonest piece of garbage I had an x-ray my mouth and tell me if there's anything wrong with my other teeth he said no he wants to wait until your teeth are so terrible that he gets to make the money and extract them he also extracted two teeth that shattered all over my mouth stay away I'm a lifetime Florida resident stay away from this place they will ruin your life

I was so scared of coming to the dentist until I met miss Jackie (hygienist) she is amazing! She's patient, super helpful, always so sweet and she honestly cares about her patients. She is the only one I see for my cleanings, and my teeth have made a remarkable turnaround thanks to her!

Family Dental Associates have been my dentists for years now and I have never once had a complaint. The staff treats you very nicely, especially the RDH's. I highly recommend coming here. You will be well taken care of.

My visit today with Tara Stalling was EXCELLENT! I am not one for the dentist as I am fearful but she makes you feel so calm and at ease. I highly recommend her! The receptionist staff is also very kind.

I always have a great experience at Family Dental, every time I come the staff is so helpful, friendly, and just pleasure to be in the office. Even on a busy day the girls make sure to take care of every patient that comes through the door, it's such a nice environment that I really appreciate them so much. Tara was the highlight of my day, so much that I look forward to my next visit every time, she does a wonderful job, very profesional and attentive, provides you with great advise on how to take care of of your teeth properly, very knowledgeable, she is such a pleasure to be around!

I can't help to brag about her with my family and friends, she makes me look forward to come to the dentist. My recommendation is to AVOID this dentist. In my humble opinion they are all about boosting their bottom line. I went for an exam, cleaning and x-rays. The hygienist did the exam, not the dentist. Then the dentist came in and based on what the hygienist told him said I'd probably need a deep cleaning the next visit. I'd had a deep cleaning less than a year earlier.

Then when it was time for the cleaning, the hygienist spent as much time trying to convince me to agree to an antibacterial flush ($35) as she did cleaning my teeth and spent several minutes documenting my refusal on her computer. I'm guessing she sent that to the dentist. Later, I requested copies of the x-rays which they emailed to me, I thought.

But at my appointment with another dentist three months later, I found out they had just sent a picture of the x-ray series and the doctor wasn't able to click on the images to enlarge them. So they were useless.

I had an appoint on Friday the 8th, I was called on the 7th and told my doctor will be in an important meeting so I would have to reschedule my appointment for the 20th. On the 19th I received a phone call and I was told that I would have to reschedule my appointment because a doctor is out due to a broken arm? I asked the woman if she knew this was the second time they were rescheduling my appointment.

She obviously did not know because she went looking for my first appointment. I confirmed with her that I was to come in on the 8th. She asked if I'd like to reschedule, I said I want to but I'm worried that they will call to reschedule again. I asked her if she could tell me what was going on. She explained to me that she can only for sure schedule on Tuesdays and Fridays because that's the only days a doctor will be available for my x-rays and exams due to being "short a doctor".

I told her that the first time I was told I had to reschedule was on a Friday so I don't understand how that could be the case. This women then proceeded to tell me that I scheduled on Thursday the 7th and not Friday the 8th after we had already confirmed it was the 8th in the beginning of the call! I was in total disbelief! It would be impossible for me to schedule on a Thursday because I don't have anybody to watch my daughter.

I knew immediately that she was lying to cover her tracks. I have Medicaid and I'm pretty sure that although they take Medicaid, they are trying to avoid taking people who have it because Medicaid has been practically giving insurance away since the pandemic began. I'm pretty sure non-Medicaid appointments ($$$) were priority over me and that's why my appointment kept getting pushed back.

I would not recommend this place during these times and because of their greed, I won't ever be back. I will also be letting all of the people I know who do not have Medicaid that they should steer clear. I know that dental offices can be rackets but this was just horrible customer service.

My first appointment was horrible despite being in pain and a tooth infection no medicine was prescribed Before leaving I was told I would have to pay almost 6000 to have my teeth done and was sent home because I have Medicaid so I just took some old antibiotics to take away the pain. Today I call and ask if the doctor can just pull the tooth because the pain is very serious I can't take it after being placed on hold Morgan comes back to the phone to tell me NO THE DOCTOR RECOMMENDED A ROOT CANAL!

This is my mouth n teeth if ion want the tooth pull it but since I'm on Medicaid they won't get paid a lot they rather me pay out of my pocket for something I can't afford! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND DOESNT RESPECT YOU IF U HAVE MEDICAID!

I'm soooo thankful I did my research and found this dentist! They are so professional, extremely friendly and have exceptional customer service! I have had so VERY BAD experiences in the past & was very skeptical when I brought my daughter in. They made her feel at ease, they are SO GOOD with children! My daughter was terrified to go, after past experiences and I was terrified to bring her. They did an amazing job and I definitely will be bringing my daughter here from now on! Thank you so much!

For the past 15 years I have been going to Family Dental Associates and Dr. Steven Polasky has been amazing! I will never change or go to no body else in my life. I Love my dentist he's the best! I would recommend you to come here.

I am so happy to have found this dental practice located conveniently on Atlantic Blvd, close to State Road 7. It is warm, friendly and professional. Dr Blackmore, is very personable, and makes you feel at ease. Her assistant, Andrea is so nice and respectful. The front desk is very informative, organized and always smiling. Ive beeen going to family dental for a couple years and now nore than ever the receptionist mellissa is very difficult to deal with and tries not to take dentaquest insurance.she is misinformed about benefits i call and verify benefits from dentaquest and she lies and denies acceoting them trying to force me to pay out of pocket when fillings are covered by dentaquest ive abandonned them now cause of it she is also rude and can be offensive most of other staff is ok dentists are ok she also showed me the wrong dentures which i accepted since i already paid $700 for which were substandard and never use she showed me snap in ones the ones i got as i said were not and are uncomfortable i got over the beating of dentures but now "she wont accept my dentaquest for fillings and said she wont deal with or discuss it with me " i will follow up with better business bureau i tried to discuss it with others there but they putme on hold for an hour never cone back on total shister

This place has gone downhill. After 17 years of being a patient, I notice each time I come in now you wait longer and longer despite them having more staff. Cleanliness means nothing anymore and you are lucky if they even acknowledge that you're waiting to be seen. What was once good is now bad. Find another dentist.

The management of family dental feels they can justify their actions with a response to the issues such as upgrades, to their patients HMO fees, and allowing unskilled management staff to dictate what a patient should pay, if your plan is 200 for a pfm crown and you code it in a way you can charge a patient 800 for a crown.call your insurance co let them know.

And request a treatment plan I bet you your treatment will be free or you will get a refund. Read what you sign, hold them accountable for there actions. make sure the environment and instruments are clean, look around your area see if it's up to your standards. Family Dental Associates in Margate Florida is your typical Medicaid office rude front office staff rude management. doctors very skilled professional but the overall management of staff and how the office is operated is typical Medicaid. fees quoted off the top of the head, hand-written treatment plan no patient gets a printed treatment plan, patients just accept8 whatever they are told about treatment.

This office was operated by the previous owner Dr. Roberts who is very well known in the community and as a fantastic dentist but the new owner's operators are very unskilled in the treatment their patients and, of their staff and fairness of employees. The so call office manager Tameka cause two employed Jessica and a dental assistant to be fired for no real reason., a word to the wise be aware of what your fees are and what you should be charged especially when it comes to expensive treatments such as crowns Bridges and dentures the upgrade amount are incorrect again a word to the wise be Dental Savvy know your plan My suggestion for dealing with the front office management staff be aware of Lies hold this office accountable for fees and correct insurance. Stay away there is a great dentist in the area please a different office

Ive been going here for 5 years and they have been so honest with me. The Doctors and Dental Asst are all very nice but the front desk staff can be unfriendly at times. But, I come for great work and an honest opinion.

I wish I could give them zero stars. We paid a fortune to have my daughters braces. The front desk is rude the orthodontist is rude. Then after all the money they made me pay, they didn't realize that my daughter still had a baby tooth. I had to pay another dentist for them to extract the tooth and put a filler in. Every time I ask of the orthodontist a question she would look at me like I'm crazy. Do not go!

Shame on you, Dr Roberts! Passion for money, not dentistry! How dare you be so money hungry & not see my mother Gigi Arce to fix your mess- a simple fix for a jagged egde crown! Her broken crown could result in loosing a $3K bridge! She needed to be seen urgently! Dr. Roberts had the audacity to have his shark sales reps (not assistants) remind my mother to not only be ready to pay $85 office visit in addition to more costs but spend more money for other repairs!

You billed insurance to max & now want to take more! A Family Practice proves to benefit only your family! My mom Gigi is a patient for over 10 years & thousands of dollars invested in a dental plan- money-making schemes in cahoots with your unprofessional, condescending staff that are also lacking patient care! Many issues could've been initially avoided if you all exercised professional discretion! IF THIS MATTER ISN'T REMEDIED, I'M REPORTING YOU TO THE FLORIDA BOARD OF MEDICINE, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & ANY OTHER RESOURCES! STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS!

One star is too much! This place is awful Mickey does not belong in the front her attitude is disgusting I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. Very disappointing establishment I see all the reviews talk about how bad the front desk staff is why are they still employed smh just terrible I never met such rude woman in my life!

Most people are afraid to go to the dentist. Ever since I started coming to family dental associates I have no fears. They have 6 different specialties under one roof. It conveniently located and the staff is great. Girls at the front desk are understanding and accommodating. The hygienists and doctors are all gentle and caring. They take the time to listen to you. So today I am having oral surgery but I'm positive everything will be just fine. I would recommend this place to everyone!

ZERO STARS TERRIBLE FRONT STAFF. Nasty, argumentative. Their founder, Dr Roberts was present and saw and heard the way these terrible cows spoke to me and did NOTHING. He is a WEASEL! They WILL add "codes" to your bill and OVERCHARGE you. TERRIBLE Office manager. Long history of BAD service from these women. They treat everyone like garbage. These are people who HATE their jobs and HATE the public. $720 for ONE crown with no root canal and that is WITH dental insurance. NO complications.

They charged me for nitrous oxide. I have NEVER had this drug in my life. Then, they claim I had an outstanding charge ( even though I paid my bill in FULL). Compliant sent to Humana Dental in Kentucky because of their BLATANT bill padding. Cramped, ugly office. Most Dental Offices show photos of the office and staff. Not this place. They don't want new patients to see what they're walking in to.

Their attitude is, " we have no supervision so we don't have to be professional or cordial while ripping you off"! Be sure to scroll down and read the " not recommended" reviews. The negative ones give a 100% accurate depiction. I WILL find a new dental office because of the ANIMALS who run this office.
