Richard Weigand

My husband has been going to Dr. Weigand's office for the past couple years for dental work. He was impressed with the up-to-date technology used in the office. His visits had been going ok, until his most recent visit a couple weeks back. He made an appointment for what he believed to be a chip in the front of his tooth, wanted it checked out and see what to do about it seeing as the clasp for his partial sits right on that spot and he's unable to wear it now due to the pain. Dr. Weigand came in, didn't even look at the "chip, " told my husband that he had tooth sensitivity due to receding gum line, told him to try some things to help with the sensitivity and sent him on his way.

He was pretty unhappy about the way his visit went and had me call later that day to see what we could do about it. I spoke with Cindy and she was very nice, but I ended up having to call again on their next business day. That day I spoke with Sharon, who was also very nice. She had me send a picture of the "chip" so they could look into it. Later that day she called back to let me know that it was an enamel issue and what to try at home.

She said if that didn't pan out, to call her and she would get my husband a referral for next steps. Everything seemed to be fine. Fast forward to today.my husband received a letter in the mail from Dr. Weigand stating that he has decided he can no longer be my husband's dentist and that any future dental appointments have been cancelled. There is no explanation as to why my husband is being dropped as a patient, so one can only assume it is due to the complaint that we thought was straightened out. Very unfortunate as I was thinking about seeing Dr. Weigand myself.

I can't say enough good things about this dentist, hygienist, and everyone at the office. I've never been treated better and neither have my teeth! I was so pleasantly surprised at the kindness, competence and professionalism that everyone shows here. Well worth checking out; so glad i did and Dr. Weigand will be my dentist for life.

Had a wonderful experience. Jen was amazing. I hadn't had dental care in over 20 years because of previous bad experiences, so I was apprehensive. But I was put at ease and the treatment was painless. I have to go in soon again and actually look forward to it now. Thanks for the help!

I haven't been to the dentist in about ten years and was apprehensive to go back but after stepping foot in the office, I was pleased to be referred here. The staff is very friendly, the technology they have is very advanced and they are efficient in what needs to be done. I would recommend this dentist to anyone that wants a practice that goes above and beyond.

I just had my first cleaning yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Everyone there is so friendly, and the office has such a nice vibe. As someone who's had less-than-stellar dental experiences in the past, it was a priority for me to find an office that makes me feel comfortable and also uses new dental technology. Dr. Weigand's office is the perfect fit.

I was also able to get an appointment in a timely manner (the week after I called!) which was a huge plus! I'm so glad I chose Dr. Weigand's office, and I highly recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Weigand is a fantastic dentist. He and his staff are always very friendly and go out of there way to make sure I'm well informed about any procedures and the health of my teeth. One of my favorite things is that Dr Wiegand uses a device that makes the anesthetic injections almost pain free. I'm not sure why every dentist isn't using it.

Der. Weigand's Office is exceptional, a dental spa! 5 stars does not adequately convey the level of caring and professionalism I encountered this week. Many of the team members have been with Dr. Weigand for over 2 decades. Their experience, teamwork, caring and joyous approach make going to the dentist enjoyable. I had 3 old cavities replaced and a chipped tooth fixed.

I hate shots, as Dr. Weigand invests in all of the latest technology, my Novocain shot was, to my surprise, painless. The office has a vibrating needle that basically blocks the pain. AMAZING! I was given a head set to listen to the music of my choice and a blanket to make me comfortable. They even offered me a pillow! And if that was not enough, Dr. Weigand's decades of experience enables him, assisted by his 20+ year veteran, to move like the wind.

The team completed replacing the 3 cavities and fixing the chipped tooth in under 25 minutes! If you are not receiving this level of treatment from your dentist I strongly encourage you go to Dr. Weigand's Dental "SPA". I am renaming Dr. Wiegand's office, as it is so much more than what you would expect from a dental office.

Dr Weigand and his staff went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable. I am new to the area and starting over with health care is never easy. I could not be happier with this dentist and his staff. I have ALOT of fear and anxiety going to any dentist, and this office was great.

As always, my most recent visit to Dr. Weigands office was exceptional as far as a dentist visit can be. I have had dental problems my entire life (73 years) and have always been apprehensive about the visits. That all changed 11 years ago when I moved to Spokane and met Dr. Weigand. He, and his staff are exceptionally skilled and compassionate and always make a great effort to relax and comfort the patient.

As a result, I have found that my anxiety about dental visits has diminished so significantly that I no longer have a problem. I recommend him strongly to anyone who needs a dentist, but especially anyone with dental anxiety.

I've been seeing Richard Weigand since I was a kid. Every time I come in for a cleaning he always makes me feel welcomed. Dr Weigand is very kind and caring. I don't particularly like going to a dentist but I don't mind going to him. I've had some fillings and a crown done these past couple of months and it has been a really good experience. His staff is caring and attentive. My whole family now sees him!

I don't even know where to begin! Dr. Weigand and his staff are the best in the business. I can't rave enough about his attention to detail and true concern that every patient is happy, comfortable and healthy. When I had an issue with a crown over the holidays, I was able to contact Dr. Weigand AT HOME over the weekend and come in the next day.

Not only did he answer his home phone and walk me through the issues, he did it with true care and kindness. Dr. Weigand calls his patients later in the day after an appointment to check on them and see how everything feels. I have never met a doctor who cares more for his patients! I absolutely love this dentist office. I had some really crappy experiences at the dentist growing up, so before now I always hated going. Dr. Weigand is amazing. I didn't feel anything at all while he was working on my teeth. The office is really beautiful and clean. They have blankets because I always get cold! The staff is super friendly and helpful.

All the dental hygienists are nice but Jenn is absolutely amazing. You can tell she really cares and loves what she's doing and it makes the entire experience so much better. I can't say enough good things about her and her work on my teeth.

Dr. Weigand and his team are phenomenal! I switched from another dentist almost 10 years ago and am so thankful that I did. Their routine care includes leading edge services not offered by my previous office, but at the same cost of care. When I have needed more urgent care, they have been able to fit me in right away and are fantastic at navigating insurance coverage. Highly recommend!

This was, by far, the best crown experience I have ever had. All the personnel were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dr Weigand uses a vibration technique for numbing which has zero pain (no long pinching needle). The whole appointment was done without interruption. The pain even the next morning was minimal. Highly recommend!

I booked at appt with Dr Weigand after a friend recommended him and all the rave reviews are spot on. My work schedule is a little hectic but Cindy and Sharon were great - and super patient! - at finding a date that worked for me for my new patient appt as well as for the subsequent treatments I needed. Their office and staff are very professional, kind, and welcoming.

The flow of the whole appt went very smoothly and they are very efficient throughout it all. Dr. Weigand is friendly and explains things thoroughly. You can tell he loves what he does and is great at it. I just got some filings done today and they get you set up with headphones so you don't have to listen to all the drilling, and the technique he uses to inject the Novocain was absolutely painless! Really, it's insane!

I highly recommend Dr Weigand and his group. I think above everything, I am most impressed with how professional, knowledgeable, warm and friendly everyone is from the moment they answer the phone or you walk in that door, and it just makes such a great experience!

I have been going to Dr. Weigand for many years. He and his staff consistently deliver the absolute best dental experience. The office is state of the art. Everyone involved is top notch and they really do care about their patients. Their organization is excellent from scheduling, the actual procedures, to billing. I highly recommend this clinic!

Another great experience at Dr Weigand's office. I had to return to address old fillings that my father, who was my dentist at the time and remove 3 and address a new deep cavity, unfortunately. I had neve received or experienced the technology of the laser and the technique in which applying local to thoroughly numb the area in preparation for the procedure on my deeper cavity.

His staff is clearly skilled, personable, and of course the same of Dr Weigand himself! Very professional. Coming from one who's own father was my dentist for most of my chid and early adult life, this is certainly the best experience Ive had since! Essentially comfortable experience getting multiple fillings re-done, listening to music and done before you know it.

I have been fortunate to have a number of very good dentists over the past 40 years. However, none are in the same league as Dr. Weigand. As other reviews have noted, he uses the most advanced techniques to limit pain. Just as important to me, he and his staff are all about educating patients so they can minimize the types of office visits that can be painful. He and the entire staff are second to none!

Dr. Weigand has been my dentist now for more than a decade. After multiple painful experiences with other dentists I was lucky enough to find his office. His service and facilities are state of the art and his staff always are aware and accommodate my skittish fear of being there with great care.

I recently moved to Spokane from Seattle where I absolutely loved my dentist and was apprehensive about finding a new one. After reading great reviews I decided to see Dr. Weigand. After having two apts. I absolutely love it here. The staff is extremely friendly and very organized, my fillings and deep cleaning all went very smoothly with no pain, and everyone was very professional, caring, and top notch. Dr. Weigand even called me personally the following day to check up on how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Weigand and his whole staff.

This dentist office has won several "Best of" awards from various news papers and periodicals over the last few years for good reason. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and Dr. Weigand is kind, personable, and great at what he does. I have a wonderful experience every time I go in. Dr. Weigand uses state of the art equipment to identify problems early, and fix them quickly.

He frequently utilizes lasers in his practice. Obviously it is at the doctors discretion when it is used so no promises on having this technology used on you, but for shallow cavities the doctor was able to use a laser device to remove and fill the cavities without having to numb me. It was awesome! Instead of being in there for an hour and not being able to eat for the next few hours, I was in and out in about 25 minutes and had nothing preventing normal eating or drinking.

There was a cold sensation associated with the use of the device but there wasn't any pain. I'm sure the experience can differ from person to person and cavity to cavity, but it was amazing technology. While he is a bit on the pricey side, if you have good dental insurance I would highly suggest seeing Dr. Weigand. The time and care that is taken to ensure your mouth is in good health won't leave you disappointed.

I am currently undergoing the 6 month smiles orthodontic treatment with Dr. Weigand and love it! The braces are clear and people can't even tell I'm wearing them! What an awesome concept! For adults who don't want to wear embarrassing metal braces, this is the way to go.

I saw this dentist based on a neighbors referral due to the severity of pain I was in. His staff was great in making me feel comfortable and explained everything along the way. Dr. Weigand is a wonderful dentist as he is caring and reassures me as he examined my mouth. I will continue to visit this dentist

Just started seeing Dr. Weigand again and ended up having to get a couple of crowns after a root canal. (Not as fun as it sounds). My experience with them has been great. They have email and txt message reminders for my appointments and Dr. Weigand called me himself the night of my appointment to make sure I was feeling alright. Great service!
