Dental implants are a permanent and appealing solution to replace missing or extracted teeth. They are better than other alternatives like bridges because no additional teeth need to be altered to place the new tooth. The entire implant process is performed over the course of a few months. The first part of the process is to install the implant itself, where a screw is placed into the jaw bone.
A dental implant is a permanent new root for a missing tooth. It is a titanium screw that is placed into the jaw bone. An abutment and crown is then placed on the implant to provide a new tooth that is permanent and looks just like a natural tooth. Dentures are a removable set of teeth or partial set of teeth that need to be removed and cared for in a special manner.

Dr. Goode and all of the staff at Honolulu Smiles are amazing! This is the most gentle and pain free dentist that I have ever been to. Dr. Goode does amazing dental work and the regular cleanings are so relaxing. I used to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist but I have not been anxious all since I started going to Honolulu Smiles. I drive about 45 minutes for my dental visits now and it is absolutely worth it!

While traveling I had a tooth that my dentist in Michigan had told me would need to be extracted. I consulted with Dr. Carson whose second opinion saved that tooth! He saved me the loss of a tooth and the cost of an implant! He took an incredible amount of time and even gave me his personal cell # when he followed up with me personally. I ended up getting a root canal upon returning home on the adjoining tooth. Thank you SO much! Cannot say enough about how kind and professional this experience was!

Dentist are never a fun experience, no one really like to find out that they have a cavity or that they need a treatment what so ever for the dentist, something about that chair, the needle the whole drilling, I mean you can really blame one from trying not to go for as long as one can. Well this is all I the past for me, Dr cross doing such an amazing job and with so much personal touch and charisma that to be quite honest, me personally, the treatment was very very well, comfortable.
The shot to numb the mouth comes with a technique of shaking the chick which makes the needle go I'm with no pain whatsoever, ( he hides it until he is ready to shoot, funniest thing ever ) The drilling didn't effect me as usual, they also have special tube that sucks out the smell and remains of tooth, and so you don't even smell anything when they operate on you and I gotta give it to the young lady there that helped him, she was very attentive and I never choked on my own spit even once. Well done. All around 5 stars to this guys.

My first time to the dentist in years. I was so nervous from a bad experience at another office. The staff was so nice and helpful. The office was clean and inviting. I needed a root canal and they referred me to another office and got me In the same day. They also gave me a dental plan for further treatment with step by step and how much each procedure would cost.
They even gave me a tissue when I started to cry because I was so anxious :. I'm so happy that I found a new dentist and have no fears about returning. Big Mahalo to you guys for all the help

I started seeing Dr. Errico after a disappointing dental experience. I saw his name in the Top Dentists list in Honolulu Magazine. After my first appointment, I was happy with my change and impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff in the office. After an initial perusal of my teeth, he sat down with me to explain the treatment that he suggested.
He was able to prioritize the work that needed to be done and give me a solid cost estimate with my insurance. Even though I was disappointed to have two crowns done, he weighed the alternatives with me and provided me with enough information to feel confident in getting them completed. He uses state of the art technology to make and fit a crown while you wait which cuts out an extra appointment and any discomfort and volatility with the tooth in the meantime - while giving your mouth a perfectly fitted new tooth.
The office location is very convenient to downtown business professionals (with another location in Ala Moana) and scheduling was fairly easy. I give Dr. Errico and his staff an A+ and a big SMILE!

I have been going to this place for 7 years now. I've seen Dr. Goode for 5 years, and then Dr. Errico the last 2 years. They always do a very nice job! Dr. Errico put in my crown, and it came out very nice & comfortable. I was very impressed with the job that he did. They have the most updated machines and I am always satisfied with their work.
The same staff has been working there for a long time and they are VERY friendly and that makes me feel very comfortable. You can talk about any tooth or oral problems with Dr. Goode and/or Dr. Errico and I'm sure they will give you the best advise on how to fix it. I highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for the best dentist in Honolulu!

Most thorough checkup I have ever had. Early appointments available, so you can get it done before work. Costs me more out of pocket but I think it's worth it - they take the time to do things right. No rushing! Everything was explained clearly, I was shown all the photos and x-rays, all my questions were answered patiently, and I didn't feel any pressure to get more work done right away.
I never felt like I was being scolded (like I have in the past at a different clinic, with a dental hygenist talking to me like I was a 5-year old) or being judged. They have a payment plan that was explained to me in a private area (not standing right at the counter), and they took the time to re-check how much my insurance would cover (no surprises later on). If you have been needing to go to a dentist for a long time but have been putting it off because you don't like dentists, I recommend trying these dentists out.
