Avoid this dental office. I agreed to replace a crown that I had no issues with just convinced me it's old needs to be replaced. First they left extra cement inside my gum when I called the office complaining of pain all they said take Tylenol. I have had pain and issues with the new crown they put in will not admit of wrong doing If I can I give this office a zero star. All they care about money.

Dr. Riter and his staff are the best. I have been getting dental care from him from him for over 16 years abs every experience has been exceptional. They are warm and friendly while maintaining 100% professionalism. I'm currently through 1/2 of my Invisalign experience, something Dr Riter encouraged but didn't push until I was ready. I couldn't be happier with a dentist AND the dental staff!

I just have to say; Dr Cecil Riter is the best dentist and his crew are delight! Thank you for taking a great care to our family. Much is appreciated!

Dr Riter is hands down the BEST! He is compassionate, gentle, understanding and hilarious. I was in so much pain and was looking for emergency services. I called his office at 6am and of course they were closed but on there voice message i was able to get his contact number. I gave him a call at 6:30 am hoping to leave a message but to my surprised he answered.

He told me that his office is closed today but he said he would meet there any way OMG I couldn't believe that he actually took time from his morning OFF to come in to look at what needed to be done. He was able to refer me to another specialist that could take care of my issue and for that I am so appreciative. This was my first time seeing DR Riter and I can tell you it will not be my last he is so amazing thank you soooo much docter Riter

Today I had an amazing experience at Riter Cecil DDS! Everyone was so kind, friendly, polite and professional. I went for a cleaning, XRAY and dentist appointment and everything went perfect. I highly recommend this dentist. Mahalo Riter Cecil DDS!

Amazing dentist! Dr. Riter and his staff are always so sweet and friendly. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Riter and he is the only dentist that I trust to work on my teeth! I send all of my friends and family there!

I've been seeing Cecil for years. Very professional, caring and highly skilled dentist. Technicians are fantastic. I never have to wait for my appointment when I arrive. State-of-the-art equipment. Soothing, relaxing atmosphere with a great view. My wife also sees Dr. Riter and loves him. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Dr. Cecil and the entire staff. From the moment I called in to make the appointment they were so welcoming and friendly. They embody the Aloha spirit and make you feel like Ohana. First time calling to schedule an appointment today. Spoke with Alandra. She was nice and very helpful with instructing me on what to do and where to go while setting up my appointment. When I got to the office they were very friendly and welcoming. Met Dr. Cecil Riter a really nice, professional and laid back kind of guy. He explained to me in steps on what needed to be done while taking my X rays and how I'm going to take care of my tooth decay as he referred me to a specialist that will get the job done. I will definitely refer Dr. Cecil Riter to anyone that has a dental problem in the future. Big Mahalos To Dr. Cecil, Alandra, Ashley, and Sheri for being so welcoming.

Amazing! My 7 year old son busted up the front of his mouth and Dr Riter took us as an after hour emergency. He stabilized his front teeth and took such excellent care of him. So professional and kind. Ashlyn his assistant was so wonderful as well.

Dr. Ritter is amazing and an expert in his field. Highly recommend to any family and friends. They even do emergency walk in's when it's really needed.

Every time I visit my dentist I have the best experience! They accommodate my busy work schedule by offering late appointments, always kind and courteous in person and on the phone, and use the latest and greatest technology. I had to get a crown on my tooth and I received the permanent crown the same day, talk about fast service. Dr. Riter and his team are some of the nicest people I've met and I'm truly grateful to receive excellent dental care every time. If you're looking for a great dentist, call them up and schedule an appointment, you won't be disappointed.

Dr. Riter and his staff are terrific! I was visiting from Washington DC when I developed a tooth ache. I called at 4pm and was seen at 10am the next day. He is very gentle and compassionate! They took great care of me and got me back to my vacation! Thank you, Dr. Riter and staff!

Dr. Riter is the greatest and most genuine doctor I've ever met. He seriously cares and always gives it his best work. Because he truly loves what he does, he assures every work is the best work. Seeing his passion with his work makes me want to work harder on taking better care of my teeth. His workers are the sweetest and most caring people!

Just greeting them makes me feel so recharged and happy! The hygienist, Jessica, is the sweetest and most skilled hygienist I've ever met! I've always had the worst and most anxious time when it came to x-rays. However, Jessica is a game changer! She makes it so fast and perfect! It's so comfortable and I never worry about it EVER! It helps a whole lot when they use the best technology!

Bright wonderful office! Friendly staff and professional. Dentist seems honest because before I went to his office, I visited one before at Kahala and I was told I had cavities. This dentist told me I had none! Above all.great atmosphere and warming personality with the dentist! I'll be back for more check ups!

I had the best service done from this clinic! Dr. Cec took care of 3 teeth at one single appointment, no pain at all during the treatment and I went home with my crown done at the same day! No temporary tooth and no extra visit all done at once. Great dentistry and attentive to details! My smile looks great! Best place, great staff and best people to have your dental services done! You guys are great, thank you for doing such a wonderful job.

Dr. Riter is the BEST! He's so knowledgeable, so patient and so nice. He really takes the time to explain every step of what he's doing. His office and equipment is extremely clean and really inviting. not to mention the killer view of the ocean they have while you're getting you're teeth done! The chairs face right out the windows at it.

So far the best dentist I've been to since I moved here. Super professional very very thorough and I just really enjoyed my experience. His office staff is just as friendly and knowledgable as he is in their profession. I'm so glad that I was introduced to them. My fiancee and his family has been going there for years and I can see why. I felt super comfortable for my first visit and am very excited to go back and possibly start my Invisalign to make my smile what I want it to be! Highly recommended! let them know I sent you! Lol I always give props when I think they deserve it and definitely they do!

I got Dr. Riter number of the internet. The office was welcoming and professional when I called to make an appointment for a cleaning. After they conducted an examination, they had me back in two days later to get a cleaning done and tell me the cost me to replace a few crows. The receptionist/sales girl brought me in to this small room and set me a circular table just like they do at the car dealership when the sales trying to close deal.

When she presented me the numbers I knew that I needed to get out of there. The price for the same work (porcelain) quoted by Dr. Ritter was 3x more than other elsewhere. What they did not know was: I using writen quotes from other dentists and I was shopping for the best price. I would not recommend Dr. Riter because I felt insulted knowing that they were trying to charge 3x more than elsewhere.

There are many good reputable dentists in town that will charge you a reasonable price and treat you with more respect. My advice to you is: 1. Use you HDS customer service they will help you making a decision. 2. Know your plan's coverage. 3. Look for review on the web. 4. This is important: Before you make any commitment, ask for the work to be submitted for a pre-authorization and verify the amount approved directly with your insurance. (In My case, Dr. Riter office refused to do that because he wanted to charge a lot more than I should pay for it.) 5.

Ask for quotes and take your X-rays with you. Do be fooled by comments that say that a dentist/dental hygienist is the best in Hawaii. Think, it is not easy to become a dentist, there is a lot of specialized training they need to complete to become one--it is true that some will more skilled than others, but they all do the same work and on average they have the same skills.

There will always be someone that can do the work better than ourselves regardless the profession you in, including dentists. Do your homework, shop around and ask friends for referral. I did just that and I saved my self thousands of dollars.

Cecil is gentle and sweet - he has a good sense of humor and makes you feel at ease. The hygienist Diane is the best in Hawaii!
