I highly recommend Dr. Matilsky. He has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He is an excellent dentist and provides very fair and honest services. The office is also doing a great job maintaining safety during the pandemic.

Dr. Matilsky and his staff are friendly and accommodating, all while producing excellent work in a comforting environment. Going to the dentist doesn't have to be a horrid event when you can go here. I highly recommend this practice. EDIT: I should also note that my visit was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and despite this all of the staff worked to maintain a sterile and safe environment in the office when they re-opened.

All staff had face masks and/or shields, with careful sanitation of all areas of the practice. They even sanitized credit cards upon returning them to you. This should be incredibly noteworthy, as many places were not following anywhere near the careful precautions this practice was enforcing. This should be a testament to the level of care and consideration here.

I've been going to Dr. Matilsky for about 5 yrs for regular cleanings and am always happy with the experience. I actually look forward to going, which is saying something! Recently I needed some pretty major cosmetic work done and I was quite nervous due to some bad past experiences with another dentist. I needn't have worried. Dr. Matilsky is meticulous and has the eye of an artist. He did a beautiful job. The tooth looks better than before, in fact. The office is also extremely good with Covid precautions.

Dr. Matilsky is amazing! After two root canals with one of my molars I was desperate for a Dentist who could create me a crown that would help save what was left of my tooth. Dr. Matilsky assured me that he would do this for me and I would no longer have issue with this molar. Today I have no issues and super happy with how durable and comfortable the crown is.

He never fails to put his patients best interests over everything else. I will continue to come back here for dentist work! Beyond Dr. Matilsky being the best Dentist I've ever been to his staff is so welcoming and will make you feel right at home! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr. Matilsky has all the qualities in a Dentist that you could want. He doesn't try to sell you on procedures you don't need. He explains things well and professionally, and the pricing is, I am sure, as good as one can expect. Also, his staff is outstanding! Friendly and competent, like the Dentist himself.

Felt like family. Such a great experience at this office. I love how he practices preventative dentistry and that it's better to go regularly to get your teeth clean to PREVENT future problems, rather than only coming in when you have a problem, pain, sensitivity, etc. Very respectable dentist who practices dentistry and NOT for business and Selling purposes to make a quick extra buck

Been with Dr. Matilsky for most of my life, now my kids are seen by him. He and his wife are honest and prices are in my opinion more than fair. Hope to have Dr. Matilsky for many more years to come.

The office staff consisting of 2 (front desk and assistant) are very friendly and helpful. Wish I find shocking considering the working conditions they are working in. I never met or witnessed a more hostile employer towards his staff. Literally, took delight in belittling them in front of me. It was the most awkward appointment ever. Heck, he literally tried reprimanding me.

I also got the impression he may be "old schooled" and not up-to-date with modern practices. Attitude aside, I didn't like how he handled my exam/mouth, he was rough and not kind. I will not be returning.

Have been a patient of Dr. Matilsky's for over 20 years. He has always been very careful and complete. The time he has taken to do my crowns just right paid off with perfect results. Staff is always beautiful. Very professional location.

Best dentist in Gainesville. I have been his patient for 15 years. I once insisted to a friend that I had the best dentist in Gainesville and he insisted that HE did, and then we found out that we both saw Dr. Matilsky! I once had a fall and broke/cracked a few teeth. I was very vulnerable and any dentist could have easily said that it was necessary that the teeth come out, that I have root canals, etc. to the tune of thousands of dollars (and I don't have dental insurance). Dr. Matilsky managed to repair all of the teeth with porcelain fillings for less than $300.

He said the teeth may have sustained some damage to the nerve, and that we would continue to watch them carefully. 8 years on, the teeth are doing great with no issues to date, and I still see Dr. Matilsky twice a year (as do the rest of my family). Polite and kind staff, as well. Highly recommend.
