Regular dental visits are essential to make sure oral health problems - from tooth decay to oral cancer - are detected and treated in a timely manner. At our office, your oral health is our paramount concern. We want to make sure your teeth stay healthy, function well and look great! From regular cleanings and exams to advanced restorative treatments, all of your routine dental needs can be met right here.
We make every effort to minimize the cost of your care. You can help by paying for treatment at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, as well as cash or checks. When you need extensive dental care, our office manager can tailor your financial arrangements for your situation.
Your dental health is important to us, but so is your safety while you're in our office. That's why we take all reasonable steps to protect you from infection and other hazards. We follow the infection control practices required by the Indiana State Department of Health, the Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration (IOSHA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
A native of northeast Indianapolis, Dr. Kevin D. Ward graduated from Lawrence Central High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University in 1982, and graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1986. Born and raised in Fishers, Indiana, Dr. Dwenger is excited to be living and practicing in her hometown.

My experience with every member of the staff was very positive. They took time to explain everything and answer any questions I had which made me feel very comfortable. My hygienists, Julie and I' Esha, we're very friendly and knowledgeable which always helps with the nerves that can come while visiting the dentist. Dr. Ward does great work and made me feel at ease before my filling. I would highly recommend Dr. Ward and Dr. Dwenger to anyone looking for a new dentist.

My wife and I were looking for a new dentist and this place looked like a good fit. Unfortunately, appearances were very deceiving in this case. They seemed to want to pile on as much work as they could with my wife and when they explained the cost to her, they said that insurance would "probably" cover most of it, but that total would "possibly" be what we owed for her visit.
Come to find out, they knew that the sealants would not be covered by insurance for an individual of her age (I found this out through a phone call with the billing specialist in the office after the fact). If you have knowledge that it would not be covered for individuals of her age, why would you pose it as insurance will probably cover it? When I went in they wanted me to engage in taking an antibiotic before every cleaning that I came in for, even though this practice is not supported through evidence and statements from the ADA saying otherwise.
I am sorry, but I am going to listen to the American Dental Association over a private dentistry practice. All-in-all they seemed very friendly, and helpful; unfortunately, it seems like their ultimate goal is to see how much money they can get out their patients.

Fishers Dental Care is by far the best dentist experience I had. First of, the professional staff is extremely knowledgeable and the quality of their services is amazing. Secondly, the people make us feel welcome every time we go in for an appointment. I also love their notification system. With small kids in my family, it is so nice to get reminders that help me stay on track. I will and already have recommended Fishers Dental to friends and family.

This business is really fantastic! I went when things were first reopening after the stay at home order (covid-19), and I was so impressed with how they worked to make sure people were safe! Also, the staff-especially Cathy-are so nice. If you are nervous about any part of the procedure, they walk you through what they are doing as they are doing it. As an added bonus, everyone is super friendly!

I just had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Ward and his staff. My mother has Alzheimer's and she has not had regular dental care for years. She has no short term memory and sometimes has a little difficulty understanding. Dr. Ward and his staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and part of the process. They showed great care and patience as well as willingness to help her with her dental needs.
This is not always the case when I take her for healthcare visits, many times the staff is abrupt and unsympathetic of her needs. Thank you to the entire staff for realizing that my aging mother is still a person, deserving of a caring and considerate staff. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I recently joined Dr. Ward's practice. My first visit was amazing- the billing manager went over all my paperwork to make sure everything was correct. After, that I met with the dental hygienist Kathy was very through and caring during my whole visit. Lastly, Dr. Ward introduced himself and already have a follow-up. I give this practice overall 5 stars.

I went to see Dr. Ward from middle school through college, and now that I'm out on my own with my own insurance I still choose to go see him. Dr. Ward and his staff are friendly, attentive, thorough, caring, and professional. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist (who is?), but I'm never on edge once I'm at the office. Everyone, from the ladies at the front desk and at billing, to the hygienists, to Dr. Ward, are determined to make sure you're as comfortable and at ease as possible during you visit. I've been recommending this practice to everyone I know who moves to Fishers or is looking to change dentists for years, and I will continue to do so.

Dr. Ward has to be the best dentist in Central Indiana, and quite possible in the entire state. His easy going personality and soft touch is incredible. He puts me at ease the moment I walk in, and that is not easy to do for me! Plus, he's just a really nice guy and I really personally like him. I highly recommend Dr. Ward and his incredible staff (all of which are incredible and so nice!) to anyone searching for a new place to call home.
