I went in for my initial consult with Dr. Gupta. He has a kind personality, intelligent, and a great doctor. I feel at ease throughout my visit. I am thankful to have found his clinic that I can trust to care for my teeth issues while pregnant. The office staff are very friendly and accommodating.

I'm relocating back to Los Angeles and one thing I'm surely miss is Oakland Smile Dentistry. I've been coming here for over two years now and every visit and experience I have had have been top notch!

Dr. Gupta and Dr. Merhawi are professional, friendly and have a great sense of humor. I had to get a few crowns done and each experience was great. They take their time and explain the procedure, expectations and any homework I may have.

Dr. Gupta is such a perfectionist that he sent a crown back and went with another vendor (at no extra charge to me) to ensure they met his very high standards. I'm truly appreciative of the entire team and will truly miss coming to this gem in Oakland.

Dr. Gupta is by far the best dentist I've had after living in several places. He takes time to listen and make sure everything is just right, particularly with retainers. He provides all the information you need to make informed decisions. The staff is always friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

I've been living in LA for 20 years and moved to Oakland in 2022, this is by far the best dentist I've ever had and gone to. They are kind; they care and most importantly the atmosphere is stress free and extremely comforting. They're thorough in their process, explanation, and treatment plans. Best office staff and dentists!

I had such a positive experience with Dr. Johnson! I have a very small mouth and past dental work at other practices has been difficult and painful to the point that I now have a lot of anxiety about getting in the chair. When I needed a crown put on a back molar, they were able to prescribe me meds to help handle the anxiety, and did the whole procedure standing up so they could access my tooth without me needing to keep my jaw painfully wide open. I was really dreading the procedure and it turned out to be so easy - thank you for the first positive dental experience I've had in many years.

Dr Johnson took over the practice from Dr Perry. The care I've received has been great. We will be staying with her. I also like the digital updates in terms of forms and patient contact.
