I am one of Dr. Schermer's dental hygienists. I graduated from Lakeland Community College with my associates of applied science degree. I am currently continuing my education at Youngstown State University for my Bachelors in Allied Health. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is hang out with my family.
Dr. Jason Schermer received his BA in Biologic Sciences with a concentration in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1995. He then moved to Cleveland in 1996 to attend Case Western University School of Dentistry. Dr. Schermer graduated in 2000 and completed a one-year general practice residency at the Cleveland Clinic.

A regular home prevention routine usually consists of brushing at least twice a day and flossing at least once per day.

Outstanding office culture! Professional, polite, warm and compassionate staff. Dr Schermer obviously sets the tone and is a very good listener. His treatment includes state of the art technology. He is very considerate and discusses options and gently guides you to the right decision! He is smart and has a great sense of humor! Everyone in the office is so kind and is the epitome of professionalism. I called for an urgent appointment (as a new patient) and was amazed at how friendly and helpful everyone was. Dr Andrea took her time in explaining my options and answered all of my questions. Liz went above and beyond, researching additional referral alternatives that might work better with my insurance.

I am always highly nervous when going to the dentist. The dentists and staff at Exceptional Smiles are true compassionate professionals. They always put me at ease. I very rarely experience any pain for my appointments for which I am glad. For someone who moves alot for work, having a dental practice like this is one I cherish. I've been a patient of Dr. Jason's for approximately 15-16 yrs and every experience is exceptional. Broke a molar over the weekend and needed a crown. I was able to get an appt. quickly and had a beautiful new crown installed in just a couple of hours. Not much comments are really needed here. just go and try once. The front desk is so on top of things and explain things clearly for you. And the dental hygienist and the doctors are very informative and super friendly. They remember you and your spouse's names and greet you by your name, which is super rare for me.
