Dr. Poole is always great and has helped me so much with my TMJ. My only complaint, and unfortunately it has happened several times, is the front desk staff have made scheduling mistakes. I have drove 35 minutes (one way) to find out my appointment was never entered into the computer, my appointment was only scheduled for half of the time that was needed, my appointment was scheduled for a certain time and later changed without my knowledge, and I was scheduled with the wrong doctor, who half way through my appointment, I was made aware that he does not take my insurance.
I have had to reschedule the appointment entirely, schedule an additional appointment to finish what needed to be done, and taken off work to be able to attend my appointments that were changed unknowingly.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I had been to my old dentist 3 times in a month because the was in serious pain and they couldn't diagnose the problem. A friend referred me to Dr. Thomas. He diagnosed and started treatment within 10 minutes! The staff is amazing and Dr. Thomas is a wonderfully personable and knowledgeable man. He actually demonstrated what was going on and explained in great detail what treatment would consist of. I'm so happy I became a part of the family and will be sending everyone I can to this practice!

I give -10 stars!. It was a horrible and traumatic experience. Went there to have some teeth pulled and the dentist was extremely rough and careless. He was more interested in flirting with his dental assistant and talking about traveling than doing his job. Worst place I have ever been too. I wouldn't recommend this place even if it was free. An absolute nightmare. Look elsewhere for a dentist and preferably one that has compassion and empathy.

I would and do highly recommend DGW. I ended up here for a dental emergency roughly 3 years ago when my regular dentist was not available to see me. I consider that to be a really good thing because I have never had a dentist that I love more than Dr Poole. She is kind and gentle and persistent. It is obvious she really cares about her patients and goes the extra mile to make sure you have a good outcome. The staff is also very pleasant and helpful.

I started seeing Dr Poole in 2004 because of TMJ, and I never left. It's hard to imagine enjoying a trip to the dentist, but that is the case at Dental Group West. I've had crowns, fillings, and a root canal, and they make everything as painless and stress-free as possible. I have even had a few "emergencies" and they work me in immediately. I love Dr. Poole, Cheryl, and Kim who I see on a regular basis, plus all the rest of the staff who helps me out occasionally.
The office staff is wonderful, too. I haven't met a person there who isn't friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I live out of town, but it's worth the drive. I highly recommend Dental Group West.

My family and I have been patients at DGW for more than 30 years. Dr. Poole and Dr. Thomas are truly the best - personable, gentle, talented and honest. They are passionate about their profession and it is reflected in every aspect of the practice. The hygienists are all equally as wonderful. Kim and Lisa are our favorites, they always take great care of our kids and make their 6 month check up enjoyable rather than scary. If you "hate" going to the dentist, the staff at DGW will change that without trying!

I couldn't be more impressed with this practice! Dr. Poole is great, my hygienist is so personable and remembers things about my personal life and really cares about me as an individual, and the office staff are top notch. They are more pricey than I'm used to, but they are so thorough and knowledgable that the price tag is well worth it. I always feel like I'm in good hands when I walk through the door.

HORRIBLE service. TRAUMATIC experience! I went there to have 2 teeth pulled and it was the WORST experience ever. The dentist was not gentle at all, and I kept trying to tell him that I wasn't numb but he just kept blowing me off. He was too busy flirting with his assistant and talking about traveling. I was in so much pain, that when he finally stopped, I was crying. I called my son to pick me up, and got the hell out of there! I do NOT recommend to anyone.
