Services
I love being a dentist. I look forward to each day, knowing I'm going to spend time with great patients and a wonderful staff. It is my goal to make everyone as comfortable as possible and help patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles. It is great to be in the SMILE business! It has been my pleasure to have practiced at Fairview Dental since 1988.
Being your dentist is my number-one priority. Dentistry is what I love because it gives me the opportunity to help you obtain a bright and healthy smile. The satisfaction that I get from coming to work every day with a stellar dental team is pleasantly fulfilling, and for that, I am truly blessed. I was born and raised here in Aurora, and attended Holy Angels Catholic School and West Aurora High School. I graduated cum laude from the honors college at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2011, with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology.
I am very excited to carry on the tradition of excellent dental care at Fairview Dental. I enjoy coming to the office each day, and am blessed to have the opportunity to share my passion with my patients and provide comfortable and quality dental care. A lifelong patient of Fairview Dental, I grew up in nearby Lisle and attended Benet Academy.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that you, or your child, may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.

We have gone here for years. They are punctual, professional, and friendly. They note that my daughter has extreme anxiety with the dentist and consistently give her the same dental hygienist who takes her time and works with my daughter. It is hard to reschedule if you need to cancel your appointment, but they will work with you and try their best to get you in as soon as possible.

I avoided going to the dentist for years because of a bad experience I had but was referred to this place. I'm not the easiest person to work on because I have so much anxiety coming in for my appointments but the staff here is so patient and gentle and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. I have had to go back for several appointments because I have allot of work that needs to be done and every time I get the same quality care and extra patients that I need! I highly recommend this place to anyone!

This dentist office is great! They're punctual, attentive and great with my teeth. I actually had to call and cancel my April appointment and they weren't able to get me in until November for an appointment at 5 or later or on a Saturday. They ended up calling me back and got me in for the end of April!

Highly recommend Fairview dental! I went for years as a kid, and I'm so glad to be able to return now that I live in the area again. Their staff is helpful and friendly, and the facility is well kept and clean! They make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Out of all the dentist I've ever been to, they are the best!

All the staff from Rita at the front desk to Tina the hygienist to Dr. Dominguez, were so friendly and professional. Going to the dentist is not my favorite place to go, as im sure many share the feeling, but they make you feel so comfortable. Dr Dominguez was very knowledgeable and informed me of what he was doing, every step of the way. Highly recommend paying Dr Dominguez a visit for your next dental check up!

I've always tried my absolute best to avoid the dentist. I've had nothing but bad experiences but finally I found Dr. Dominguez to be my guy. Every time I come in he makes me feel comfortable and is 100% honest with me. I drive all the way from Yorkville to Aurora and probably pass up 50-60 dentist on the way. I'll happily keep taking the drive to see Dominguez.

This place did my root canal and crown 4 years ago. I have had nothing but problems from the very beginning. My insurance was approved and they new the day it lapsed which was the day they ended up scheduling my procedure so the insurance company decided they were not going to pay for my procedure. My crown has fallen off at least 4 times in which they did put it back on.
They mentioned if it falls off again they will replace it. Bc of these issues I haven't paid a dime that is owed. Now they are saying they will not replace it until I pay. Not only has this Dr already written this off but I'm not paying for a service I should have never been billed for. Sometimes doing the right thing is what should take precedence. Shame on this dr for making it more about money than his work.
I went to another dentist and they mentioned they shaved way to much tooth and there isn't enough tooth for the crown to adhere to which is why it keeps falling off. I know need my gums cut down to provide of depth so the crown can sit on my remain tooth properly.

Dr. Tonner has treated me a few times over many years. I hadn't seen him in several years but I went back for a root canal. While he was doing the root canal he was EXCEPTIONALLY ROUGH. During the procedure, I felt him CRACK MY TOOTH! He kept working and when he was done he said everything was fine and that I needed to come back for 1-2 more appointments for my cap. Well, when I came back he x-rayed my mouth.
Then he told me that there was a fine crack in my tooth.and he said it like he was surprised! He refused to finish the root canal and sent me to another dentist who finished it. However, my tooth was so damaged that it just cracked in half a day or two later. Now I have to have it extracted (which will cost MORE money) and I have to pay a couple thousand bucks for an implant (not to mention what i paid him and the other dentist for this pointless root canal).
And just as a side note. Tonner was so rough with my mouth that i was in EXCRUCIATING PAIN once the anesthesia wore off. It was absolutely awful. It felt 100 times worse than when i originally came to him for help. I wouldn't accept so much as a TOOTHBRUSH from Tonner or anyone in his office ever again. DENTISTS LIKE HIM ARE THE REASON PEOPLE DON'T EVER WANT TO GO.

I didn't have a very good experience there several years ago and I haven't been back since. Invisalign's are a scam and Dr. Ahasic is a scam artist. They offer two option like ohhh pay this amount and make your teeth look good or pay 5000 and make your teeth look great. I paid the 5k after they convinced me to use the payment plan and my teeth didn't even end up looking great.
I regret not going to a real orthodontist and getting metal braces that actually work as advertised. Dr. Ahasic is just looking to make as much money as he can to pay for his Mercedes but actually is very rude and unprofessional.

Came in in late October of 2016 to have a tooth removed. The front desk personnel were very nice and professional. I did not have insurance. They were able to get me in the following day around 10a with Dr. Tonner. Dr. Tonner was friendly and professional but his Dental Hygienist (that may not be her title) named Tina was the bomb-diggity. Went over my options and estimates with me, made me feel very comfortable, and just was an absolute dream during my time there.
Not to take anything away from Dr. Tonner, who was compassionate and on point, but Tina was just phenomenal. The billing person I spoke to after the procedure was also very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. An added bonus is the room/bay I was located in happened to have a bird feeder outside the large windows and there were a number of small birds (finches) in the shrubbery and feeder and that was very calming and enjoyable to watch during my wait times for the local anesthesia to kick in. FYI of anyone in the similar boat as me, although the cost can vary, the procedure cost me about 289$

I have been going here for around ten years I think. Good organization; friendly staff from reception, techs, Dr. and billing. They are great about booking your appointments every six months and are consistent about actually following up on their "wait" list if you have to reschedule. They send postcard and email appt. reminders and I like that they utilize technology/online features for those of who are busy and attached to our phones. Most of your time is spent with the tech and you will get scheduled with the same one each appointment. I see Christie and she is super friendly. Dr. Bruno is good as well.

I hate the dentist and therefore avoided going for a couple years. Jaime was AMAZING during my assessment and cleaning! She explained everything and took away the anxiety of the whole visit. She asked my preference on cleaning, flavors, and xrays! Dr Tonner was so friendly and came to introduce himself before my cleaning and then came back to check out a couple issue teeth.
My wisdom teeth are coming in and he gave me multiple referrals so I could do what was best with my ins! I could not have had a better experience! they are knowledgeable and so friendly! The entire staff from check in to making my next appt was amazing! Jaime even scheduled my next cleaning while I was still in the chair! Loved them and cannot wait to go back for my next cleaning! (did I just say that about a dentist?!?! I DID!)

Dr. Bruno and team are experts at what they do and they are good people, too. I just started going to Fairview Dental; first appointment was to get my teeth cleaned. I knew I was overdue, but I was so amazed at the "after" view.best cleaning ever. Further, had to have a root canal, which I was dreading more than I can say. I had nothing to be worried about; Dr. Bruno and team kept me relaxed, in the loop as to what they were doing and out of pain (which is the major source of my fear of going to the dentist). Highly, highly recommend Fairview Dental.

I got to say that I am not a fan of Dentists to begin with. But, I have gone to several different dentists in my days, due to frequently moving. Dr. Ahasic has probably been my most painful dentist that I have gone to. He removed both by bottom wisdom teeth and I shiver every time I think of the pain associated with it. Then he dropped the one in my mouth and I started choking on it.
Even with regular cavities I find myself in a lot more discomfort then any other dentist. I spent good money on a crown and then found out after going to another dentist that the crown didn't even fit. It was not connecting. Dr. Ahasic claimed it was because my teeth shifted, but it's only been 2 years. His bedside manor is not very good at all.
I even witnessed him yelling at one of his hygienists. There was no reason to treat her that way. I still am giving this office two stars. For three things I did like about the office. First thing, and my biggest like was that the people there besides Dr. Ahasic are very nice. When going into this office you spend 95% of your time with somebody that is not the dentist.
The Dentist just comes in at the end and checks that the teeth they say have problems really do. Unless you are getting something besides regular cleaning. So, I kept going back for the rest of his staff. Second thing I liked was the office itself was beautiful. The building is very nice. They even focus on your view outside the window by putting bird houses and bathes outside each window.
And the last thing I liked is they are very Tech Savoy. From emails of appointments, to reminders through text message. They got that part right. I hate when I need to actually talk to somebody to find out these little things. Their method allows you to be able to do a a lot of that stuff online.

I've been to a couple different dentists since I left my dentist of 20 years because of moving and this is the most friendly and helpful dentist I've ever been to. Had a root canal just last night and was very impressed with their teamwork and making sure I was comfortable. I had Dr. Bruno. Everyone was friendly and informative and the office was very professional, clean, and impressive. Looking forward to making Fairview Dental my regular dentist for years to come.

I have been going to Fairview Dental for years and they are absolutely wonderful! The reception staff is very pleasant and efficient, and I never have trouble getting an appointment time that works for me. The dental staff is also excellent, they are always waiting for you with a smile and explain every step of their procedures to reassure you if you have any fears. Dr. Tonner is super friendly, gentle and always does an excellent job. I will be going here for many more years to come!
