I love being a pediatric dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful children, and the friendships I've built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home during treatment, and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
Children differ vastly, and so do their needs. Pediatric dentists acquire special, extensive, and additional training to address infants', children's, and teens' diverse and unique needs. The services provided by Dr. Rivera are essential for building a strong and healthy foundation for teeth and overall health.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children's needs and it is our goal to make your son or daughter feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.
The cost of treatment may vary, depending on your child's individual needs and treatment plan. We will discuss the cost of treatment and each of your available payment plan options with you before your youngster begins treatment, so you can make the best choice for your little one and your family. Your child's smile can last forever, and we want to make it as easy as possible to receive the best dental care whenever needed. Our office staff is always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork.

Thank you so much for working us in on such short notice! My eight year old son was in need of an extraction asap. Our current dentist was unable to work us in until a month from today's date. It took several calls but I finally found this location! The office staff was efficient and friendly. The dentist was knowledgable and explained everything to my son and myself without making him overly nervous. I will be coming back and next time I'm bringing my other child! You just got yourself two new patients!

Dr. Marta Rivera is excellent. I highly recommend her and her staff. Both my children have been going to her for many years. I have an 18 year old with braces, and an 8 year old who will need braces in a few years. We found Dr. Marta when my 18 year old son was about 8 years old. We had been to several dentists due to a problem (I'm writing this in layman's terms) with his upper jaw being smaller than his lower jaw.
He was starting to develop a severe underbite. No dentist would touch him as an orthodontic patient. They all wanted to do surgery that entailed breaking the bones of his upper jaw, wiring his mouth shut, etc. As a parent, I felt that was an extreme surgery for my son and didn't want him to go through that. There was also risk of nerve damage from the surgery.
So after consulting with Dr. Rivera, she accepted him as a patient. Fast forward 10 years and my son has a beautiful smile. The bones in his face have grown correctly and perfectly. You would never know he ever had a problem. I'm so tremendously thankful for Dr. Marta's expertise and knowledge. She is caring, compassionate, and all around an exceptional dentist.
If you are looking for a wonderful dentist, I highly recommend her and her practice. Her staff is also kind and caring, and she has a beautiful, modern office in the New Tampa area. A bonus is she speaks Spanish fluently, along with several staff members. 5 stars (I would give her 100 stars if I could!)

Both of my kids have been patients of Dr. Marta for just over 3 years. The front desk has always been attentive and courteous. The doctor is fantastic as well - very knowledgeable, patient and professional. We never have had to wait very long - sometimes we get in right away, and the most we have had to wait is 10 mins.

My son has been a patient since he was 3 and now our little girl gets to go. Dr Marta and the staff are all amazing. My kiddo gets crazy nervous and scared every time and the Dr ALWAYS calms him down and gets the job done. I love this office. Thank you so much for your dedication and professionalism. We will never go anywhere else.

The receptionist and the hygienist were very nice and professional. The dentist was ok, but did not want to work with my son who has special needs. Her first suggestion was anesthesia. We have since found a new, more sensitive and patient pediatric dentist. She may be satisfactory to some, but I expect more and could not settle.

I was here with my toddler and we waited for an hour before I couldn't wait anymore and had to leave. That wait time is not ok for a two year old. The woman at the front desk apologized for the wait time but did not do or say anything to keep our business after I said that I could not wait that long with an impatient two year old. I was told multiple times that she would be brought back to the dentist and it just never happened.
I do not have any extra time in my day to spend waiting in a doctor's office so I became really frustrated at the lack of respect for patients' time. The office seemed terribly understaffed as well. Additionally, the toilet would not flush and it was backed up with toilet paper--no sign on the door. When I informed the staff they said they would look into it but they did not check it out while I was there. This was my daughter's first dentist appointment (or lack thereof) and we definitely will not try to reschedule there again.

So happy we chose this dentist for our family. They came recommended to us and we have been so pleased - the staff is so courteous and professional. Marta truly cares about each of her patients and takes the time necessary to answer any and all questions and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. Great dentist and highly recommend!

This office is hands down the BEST dentist's office I have ever visited. It has a fun and inviting ambiance as soon as you walk in the door. The walls have been decorated with very bright (and very cute!) murals depicting happy sea creatures and enticing marine landscapes. There is a small play area with age appropriate toys for young children to entertain themselves while they are waiting to be seen. This, combined with the smiling faces of the front desk staff, makes for a wonderful welcome, even if your children are a little nervous. Getting to the staff, they are some of the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met.
They take everything in stride, with genuine smiles and kind words. They are efficient but also extremely friendly, which I think is important when working with children. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff; they really know what they're doing! I have been seen both as a child and as an adult, and each time, I left knowing that I had been well taken care of. Dr. Marta is a very hard-working and dedicated person, and this shows through her work.

This organization has serious communication issues. The front desk staff is rude, incompetent and clearly disorganized. They lose records, fail to read duplicate records and insist the patient receive duplicate treatment for things that have been rectified years ago. I will never bring my child back to this dentist based solely on the front desk staff.
As a client in good standing, a parent should not expect to be verbally attacked and later threatened by the dentist office for disagreeing with the inaccurate, heavily documented statements being made. Incompetent, poorly trained, awful bedside manner, disorganized, and childish.

This office has the nicest staff I have ever experienced. Every single person who works here is so friendly! Each time I have come here, I seriously leave in a better mood than when I arrived. I came here to have a replacement retainer made a couple years ago and was relieved that they agreed to see me (an adult) even though they specialize in pediatrics.
I was impressed by how professional and thorough they were. I was never rushed and they continued to adjust the retainer until I was completely satisfied with the fit. And they were more than happy to readjust a year or so later when it needed tightening. I almost never take the time to write reviews, but felt compelled to do so because of how great this place is. I would definitely recommend!
