A bridge is used to replace a missing tooth. It uses teeth on either side of the missing tooth for support. It typically requires multiple appointments to complete the process of getting a bridge. At the first appointment, your doctor will take an impression - or mold - of your teeth for the temporary bridge.
Removing a tooth can create problems. When a tooth is removed and not replaced, the surrounding teeth may shift and/or move. This shifting can make biting and chewing difficult and may make it harder to clean your teeth. Areas that are not cleaned well are more likely to get gum disease. A dental implant can be used to replace a missing tooth.

Dr. J and team exhibit an aire of professionalism and class that is far beyond any other dentist I have personally experienced. The level of care attention to detail given to my teeth was amazing - I don't know if my teeth have ever felt this clean! My hygenicist, Karyn, was great at explaining what is happening to my mouth and what needs to happen in order to improve my overall health.
She was also incredibly gentile! I'm so very grateful to have found this dentist, and am sure I'll be a patient here for years to come. I'll be referring everyone I know to Dr. J!

Hey, stop avoiding the dentist and come and see Dr. J! Absolutely the best dentist in Phoenix. He's a very understanding dentist who does not judge or chastise at all. He understand the difficulty with oral care and only wants to make sure the patient is healthy. I literally had a hole in my back chomper and expected the doctor to tell me it's yanking time. Nope, Dr. J took the time and effort to save my tooth and I have all of them still! The staff is professional, entertaining, and overall everyone is just an Angel! Dr. Is just the most knowledgeable and freakin the coolest (most cool)

I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for Dr. J and his staff at Squaw Peak Dental for solving a problem I thought would be long term and bound to a life of pain. I was experiencing migraines and headaches lasting several days each month. My physician and other doctors blamed it on hormones and advised to alleviate the symptoms with pills and figuring out how to relax.
I went through the entire grief process with the thought of and even accepted that I was going to experience this pain for the rest of my life. Dr. J expressed concern for my teeth and gums and recommended a night guard to help keep my jaw from clenching, and teeth from grinding. I did not expect to feel an immediate relief from head or neck pain, but I did! Waking up and working throughout the day without head and neck pain has given me a more positive outlook on who I am and the interactions I have with others.

The team at Squaw Peak Dental is absolutely incredible! their focus on patient care and their desire to go above and beyond in every step of my appointments makes me excited to come back each time. dr. Was very nervous to go to any dentist after having a bad experience before. But Squaw Peak Dental really made me feel welcome and helped me to get past my hesitation. The entire staff was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, explaining each step in my process and making sure I understood and was comfortable with the process. I definitely recommend anyone try them out - you won't be disappointed!

Dr J and team are absolutely the best! I can't say I've ever enjoyed going to the dentist nor have I hated it. I actually enjoy going to my appts here. The team is so friendly, attentive and detailed oriented. If your teeth are in need of some TLC, the staff gives you a comprehensive plan to get you back in track. No shaming!

Karyn is an exceptionally caring and competent dental hygienist. If you are under her care, it will be pleasant and without any pain. No shots! So Dr. J, has added additional help to his practice, and its easy to see why he chose Karyn to help out a few days. Thank you Karyn for making 3 out of 4 visits/ procedures painless.

My dentist for several decades retired. I live and work nearby Squaw Peak Dental. I had heard many glowing positive comments from several of Dr. J's patients. My decision was easy! The professionalism displayed by Dr. J and his staff has been amazing. After just several visits, I knew I found a new home. Wait to you see the Mountain View's from their dental chairs. You won't want to leave. Highly recommend this team!
