I was referred to Dr. Mastrovich by my family dentist to remove a broken screw for my tooth implant. My dentist said that Dr. Mastrovich was the expert in this procedure and I couldn't agree more! From the time to set up the appointment and to the actual date of the procedure, everything went smoothly. Valerie was great at getting my information, setting up my appointment, providing me with information about the procedure and making sure I was comfortable the day of the procedure. Dr. Mastrovich and his team was able to retrieve the broken screw from my implant in no time. Great at communicating what he was doing during the procedure and afterwards. I very rarely use "social media" to address my evaluation of service providers because I have doubted their authenticity. However, I am unhesitatingly doing so now while passing on my highest accolades to Dr. Charles Mastrovich and his staff. Dr Mastrovich is a rare individual who clearly exemplifies the highest standards of integrity and professional expertise.

I would unhesitatingly state that he is the most qualified dental professional with whom I have had contact with during the past 20 years or so. He is both empathic to his patients needs and resolves them quickly and fully. A very unique professional!

This is the man to see, in fact the ONLY man to see if you have something "hinky" going on with a dental implant. He is a fine machinist, loves his work, creates his own tools, and I don't believe there is problem he couldn't fix. The office staff is wonderful and kept me informed of the progress of my case. You will not find a more knowledgeable dental surgeon than Dr. Charles Mastrovich. He has developed skills and tools to handle the most difficult implant reconstructions. He only handles this kind of problem rather than common place dentistry because he is now teaching seminars in a classroom at his office complex to pass what he has learned to the next generations of dental surgeons.

His surgical staff and office administration are top-notch. The patient will always know what is about to be done to repair implant damage with complete and accurate explanations of any process he will perform. We came from Hawaii to receive Dr. Mastrovich's services. If some other dentist has done poor work, Dr. Mastrovich can restore perfect tooth repair. I was referred to Dr. Mastrovich by my local Dentist who needed expert assistance to complete my case. Patients fly in to see him from all over the United States (and beyond). Dr. Mastrovich is highly skilled and was able to fix the problem in under 30 minutes and I was on my way! This is definitely the Dr. you want if there is an issue with your dental implant.

The entire staff - from Doctor, Office Manager Valerie Mastrovich and the knowledgeable Dental Assistants are experts in their field and the environment is calm -and comfortable. No stress involved and no pain involved.

A fine dentist yes, but also a mechanic, a machinist and a skilled hand. He was able to rescue a failed implant that had a broken abutment screw. To be treated by Dr. Mastrovich is an exceptional experience.

Hope you never need him for an implant mechanical rescue, but if you do, Dr. Mastrovich performed the extraction of a broken dental implant with confidence and efficiency, when neither my general dentist or oral surgeon could help. Plus, he explained how to avoid the same costly problem with a better design for the replacement abutment and crown.

When my dentist said that my implant was loose I was naturally concerned. When he told me that I needed to see a specialist to fix it I realized it was not an ordinary occurrence. Luckily for me I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Mastrovich who is a renowned educator and lecturer in the field of Dental Implant Repair. In less than an hour Dr. Mastrovich diagnosed and solved my implant problem with a precision that was pure artistry.

I had the same excellent experience with Dr. Mastrovich and his wonderful staff (Valerie and Sheila) as expressed in the other reviews. Two local Palm Desert dentists threw up their hands and could not fix my defective (loose) implant. Dr. Mastrovich fixed it within 30 minutes! Such a high level of courteous and professional care is far too rare these days and I wish continued success for this fine dental organization in the coming months and years. Thanks for giving me such great dental treatment!

Unbelievably good! I honestly didn't know what to expect given that I had been to so many other specialists in search of help with my damaged implant. Much to my surprise, and delight, Dr. Mastrovich, Valerie, and Sheila immediately made me feel at ease and have confidence in them. Sure enough, Charlie was able to restore my implant! I can't tell you how thrilled I am not only with the fact that he was able to get the piece out, but also with the explanation of why this happened and how we can remedy it in the future. Charlie truly is a genius who engineers and makes his own tools for each specific case. Couldn't be more thrilled or thankful.

One of the best dental experiences of my life. I was referred my my dentist for a repair on an implant that I broke the crown on. The staff here is amazing, from the initial appointment presses, to the arrival and procedure, this experience is one of the if not the best. They are not only polite and professional but they made me feel relaxed and happy to be there. Charles Mastrovish explained what he was doing and made me feel comfortable do it. I was a 13 yr patient of this office. I broke a crown on a Friday.it broke more on Sunday. I had a hygienist appt on Tuesday. Monday I called to ask Dr Mastrovitch to see me on Tuesday and I was told "we can't, we have to keep the chairs full". I found ANOTHER dentist to treat me on an emergency basis.and picked up my xrays and have NOT looked back. What kind of dentist will not take you in an emergency? Find another dentist.

I was traumatized by a Dentist as a young child. My whole life has been afflicted with fear of the Dentist. How could they have any friends at all? Nobody, that I know, likes going to the Dentist. Dr. Mastrovich and his staff are AWESOME! I used to have to be 'knocked out ' just to get my teeth cleaned. Today, after therapy but mostly because I have always been treated with compassion and lots of love at Dr. Mastrovich's office from the Dr. and his exemplary staff, I am able to go get my teeth cleaned with NO sedative!

Not only that but I am actually going this morning and getting a filling fixed and I don't find it necessary to take anything for nerves. Blessing in disguise. I don't like going to the Dentist yet but I'm able to go without the fear of 'being hurt'. Dr. Mastrovich has never ever hurt me. I'm friends with the staff, especially Debra the office manager, and know they are genuinely concerned with my experience. Yes, this office is genuine. I would send ANY one in my family here including my 3 year old grandchildren.

I was going from dentist to dentist until I was finally referred to Dr. Mastrovich to fix a problem with my bite caused by my regular dentist. It was a long search, but I'm thankful he is my dentist now. I think Dr. Mastrovich is a warm and welcoming person. He is an expert on TMJ problems as well as regular dentistry. And he really goes the extra mile to make sure his work is done perfectly. I would recommend him to anyone who wants things done right.

Well, here comes another 5 star review! I was referred by another satisfied patient who traveled from AZ to see Dr M so I figured he would give me a thorough exam and honest evaluation. I had seen a dentist in Encinitas through Delta Insurance/Medicare. That dentist told me I needed 5 fillings and deep cleaning. I was suspicious but I got them to agree to a regular cleaning, had it done, then got the heck out of there. (You know the old saying."just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!") I made an appointment with Dr M. and had the exam today.

His was much more thorough than the other dentist and more thorough than any I've ever gone to! His diagnosis? Nothing needed to be done. Nothing! Quite a difference don't you think? So, indeed I do recommend Dr M. AND his wonderful staff! I just wish he took my insurance. If we had Universal Health Care, we could all be covered by wonderful dentists and doctors!

And they are great dentists as well! After reading some of the amazing other reviews, all I can add is that we have been going to Dr Mastrovich since the boys were very young (and the oldest is now 32). Among the many compliments we can offer is that without a doubt Debra is the most caring and responsive person you might meet, and every hygenist has been spectacular. So if you're looking just for an exceptional dental office, definitely you'll find it with Dr Charles A Mastrovich and his super staff!

I also can not thank Dr. Mastrovich enough. I was expecting him to say that nothing could be done. He must be using some magical instruments. Was amazed how quick and painless the appointment was.

My Mom was referred to Dr. Mastrovich by her dentist to remove a broken implant abutment and abutment screw. This is an extremely difficult case, but Dr. Mastrovich was able to remove the broken abutment and abutment screw -- carefully keeping the implant intact. This review is long overdue but I needed to express the value of service I received from Dr. Mastrovich, Debra and Rex on April 8th, 2016. I was referred to Dr. Mastrovich for his speciality in removing broken implant screws. I patiently waited nearly 2 months to get in to see him and it was well worth the wait. Dr. Mastrovich demonstrated his master skills by gently removing my broken implant screw.

First off, I am not a patient of Dr. Mastrivich but he was the referral source from my vacationing practioner. The top of my implant was very loose and I had visions of being seen without a front tooth. This office deserves praise! Not only did they care of my issure in a very timely manner but they totally threw me for a loop by not charging me for the service as a courtesy to my dentist. Now thats some Olde World service that is hard to experience anymore. Thank you Dr. Mastrovich and very friendly staff.

As a retired professional in the dental field, this office is superb in every aspect. Not only is Dr Mastrovich a truly gifted dentist, but also a kind gentle practitioner. Debra, the office manager, is a warm caring team member and this is reflected throughout the staff. Debra and Lori coordinated all my needs in my extensive full mouth reconstruction from the greeting at the front door to finances and appointments at my convenience. Much thanks to all the staff. I would highly recommend this amazing practice.

I had screw stuck in a dental implant. My dentist couldn't remove it and the only option the oral surgeon had for me was to take the implant out and put a new one in. This would have been a risky surgery, since the implant was very close to the adjacent teeth, and very integrated with the bone. I consider my usual dentist to be quite good, but he was inexperienced regarding the issue I had. Fortunately, he was conscious enough and didn't try to solve the problem.

Other dentists are not as good accepting they can't solve a problem and try to solve it anyway, and they will most certainly ruin your implant. I did some research online and I've found out that most dentists are not familiar with this kind of mechanical issues, while Charles Mastrovich has dealt with over 170 cases as of 2014. I live in Seattle so I had to fly to San Diego to get to his clinic in Escondido to have this problem solved.

It was really worth it, he removed the screw leaving my implant intact. If you have a mechanical problem with your implant, don't let an inexperienced dentist try to solve it, call Dr. Mastrovich.

My husband is extremely happy with Dr. Mastrovich's expertise: Because it does not happen often, neither my oral surgeon nor my prosthodontist knew how to remove the broken abutment left in my tooth implant when it failed. I was fortunate that both my dentists referred me to Dr. Charles Mastrovich who removed the broken abutment with tools and a procedure he developed and perfected. "Pleasurable" is not a word usually associated with any dental procedure, but it best describes my time spent with Dr. Mastrovich. He is not only a technical whiz, but a caring and giving person.
