Pediatric Dentistry, otherwise known as Children's Dentistry or Pedodontics, is a recognized dental specialty by the American Dental Association and is specifically geared for the oral health of very young children (starting in early infancy) to young adults. All children should visit a dentist by the time they are one year old.
Our team members are dedicated to help you and/or your children achieve your best result - a healthy and beautiful smile to last a lifetime. Our primary goal in orthodontics is to give your family healthy smiles that will last a lifetime. We offer many options, including traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, Invisalign, Teen, and more.
Frederick Pediatric Dentistry is proud to offer gentle, comprehensive dental care to those with special emotional, developmental, and/or physical needs. Sometimes, parents of children with special needs have unique concerns about their child's dental appointments. Like getting a haircut, dentistry involves a gentle touch of the face and head.

Brought my baby here for treatment and originally loved how they treated us so we decided to go back for a follow up on some concerns on her teeth. The provider didn't even bother looking at half her teeth that we had concerns about and pretty much said there's nothing i can do they're baby teeth they'll fallout.like helloo! If they're not treated it can get bad for her future teeth and health. I really want to give this place another chance but i don't wanna waste my time again.

I will not give a 1 because the dental care both of my children have received over the years has been great. The three is due to the hypocrisy seen today, July 1st, 2021. Maryland has lifted the Covid state of emergency. Upon entering the lobby, there are at least 10 signs stating masks are still required in all medical facilities due to CDC guidelines.
Fair enough. The whole time I was alone in the lobby, I wore a mask, per CDC guidelines. FOUR ladies behind the desk were all unmasked for the half of an hour that I was there. Not eating or drinking, just gossiping. This is in violation of CDC guidelines. When I left, I pointed out that none of them were masked. One lady said it was because a divider was up between me and them.
I asked if that meant I could have had my mask off also do to the divider. She gave no response. If she said yes, that violates the CDC. If she said no, that meant they were in the wrong. I will continue to send my children there due to their dental service, but they must follow the mask guidelines just like patients and those waiting in the lobby.

As I sit hear listening to two of my kids excitedly (yes, excitedly) get ready to go to the dentist, which they have been looking forward to for a week, I thought it only appropriate to share just how much we love all this office! They are so kid friendly and take all of the fear out of going to the dentist. Instead they put the fun into going, and into oral care!
We recommend them to everyone we know with kids. Their office is spotless, the staff is amazing and your kids will thank you! My kids just made a (LONG) list of their favorite things at the dentist and it made my heart happy. They also have an in-house ortho, who is just as amazing and highly recommended. Having the ortho in the same office made it 100% less scary for my son to go because he was already so used to going to the happy dentist office! If your child has any dentist office fears, this is the place for you.

Not impressed with the poor attitudes of the front office. They couldn't care less about what you have to say, don't want to listen and just treat you like a schedule slot or fee, not a patient. We were seen by one dentist who was good but not sure if it's worth it. There are other children's dentists in the area.

Eeeeeeveryone at this office was so friendly and kind to my 3-year-old. The waiting room has toys and a TV for kids, there's a beautiful fish tank that a hygienist showed my son, and they even asked what he'd like to watch in his private room during his cleaning. As a mom of a son with sensory issues and a speech delay, I appreciate how so many people went above and beyond to be so patient and kind to us!

This office is immaculate yet kid-friendly at the same time (why can't my house be like that?). The staff is very friendly and responsive, and they seem to really enjoy the kids and engaging them. The kids love the prize basket at the end - so many choices! - and the fish tank. Scheduling is a breeze and the receptionists are great. We started my son here when he was 3 and then my daughter at 18 months, and we plan to keep coming back!

Love this dentist office. They have wonderful staff and amazing dentists. They definitely know kids and how to handle them. And always make me feel comfortable and informed. I always book both my kids back to back and they handle this awesome every time. Love the text notifications and the Facebook page. Kids feel so at ease and comfortable here I never have heard an unhappy kid come out after seeing one of the dentists. Also the fish tank is awesome and an awesome thing for the kids to look forward to when I say we are going to the dentist Today! :

This is the best children's dentist office in town! They are wonderful the way they work with children, taking their time to make sure they're not afraid of what is being done. Dr Mike has a wonderful touch with the kids. My granddaughter loves to go, even after having fillings. Everyone in the office if upbeat, happy and professional. You feel like family when you walk in the door. I highly recommend them to anyone!

The professionals at Frederick Pediatric Dentistry are kind, patient, skilled, and gentle. Everyone we see during our appointments greets us with friendly smiles and enthusiasm! They love what they do! The office is beautiful, comfortable, and full of things interesting for kids to see. We admire their skill and knowledge in caring for patients with special needs, their follow-up with regard to specific issues after an appointment, and their respect for all of their patients and their families. We also appreciate their involvement in the community. We will continue to go there as long as we are able!

I brought my three year old son to Frederick Pediatric Dentistry. Waiting room is great for kids, some toys and child-oriented magazines for kids to look at. There is an AWESOME fish tank full of colorful fish (Nemo!) you will see once you get called back. There is even awesome framed insects and butterflies all over the walls. Artwork is beautiful all over the office, very warm and welcoming for a child.
Insurance stuff was nicely explained to us before we got started. So, no surprises there. The actual treatment room, with a child-sized dentist chair, was also a "friendly" atmosphere. The initial visit was mostly a "getting to know you" kind of thing, so Dr. Camacho counted my little man's teeth, played around with him, and went over proper brushing and some oral health stuff.
All in all, a great experience. My kid loved it, and when we pass dentists' offices now he always wants to go into them (really.weird, I know). He WANTS to go back again. I'm sure that when the visits include more stuff (cleaning, eventually maybe filling cavities, etc) he may not be so excited about it, but for now my little guy thinks the dentist is fun. So, NICE, CLEAN, WELCOMING, FUN, COLORFUL, and *most importantly* the office and procedures were obviously set up to disarm little kids and make them comfortable. So, great experience! Highly recommended, and will be going back for all his dental needs.
